XqoLoot
XqoLoot
Edit: Updated for 3.2

-- Features

Fast looting, XqoLoot autoloots faster than the functions for looting provided by the standard ui by skipping whatever it is blizzard does aswell as just looting when you click a mob to loot it. This is especially noticeable when looting money.

Loot-filtering, you can add items you wish to autoloot to a list, and XqoLoot will automatically loot them if they are dropped by the mob you're looting.
(The list of items is saved between game-sessions.)

Loot-warnings, you can toggle whether or not you want to see a warning whenever you loot an item in the autoloot-list.

-- Commands

There is no options-panel yet, only slash-commands. I am already working on the next version, which will feature a frame for settings.

/xqo cash: toggles autolooting money on/off (looting money is very fast)
/xqo add <item>: add an item to the list of items to be autolooted.
/xqo list: print the list of items to be autolooted.
/xqo remove <item>: remove an item from the list of items to be autolooted.
/xqo removeall: clears the list of items to be autolooted.
/xqo warn: toggles warnings whenever you loot an item on the autoloot-list.
/xqo fast: toggles fastlooting on/off. (ignores the autoloot-list and autoloots everything fast.) Note: Using the autoloot-list to loot will still loot faster than the blizzard standard functions (Which should be disabled when using XqoLoot, if not you will see the "You Receive Loot:"-message twice when looting money.)
/xqo: Show this list.

-- ToDO
A panel for configuring settings.
A fancier warning.
Loot-exclusion (loot everything except items defined by player)
Toggling automatic looting of quest-items on/off.
Loot-filtering based on item-quality.

It does not seem to work with fishing .

I'm trying to find an addon that speeds up the looting while fishing to prevent loosing a fish when the window closes too early.

Another question: Is it supposed to hide the loot window? Because the loot window always shows up for a second or so. I have Blizzard auto looting turned off and fast looting on with "xqo fast".

This would be awesome .

Nothing really, except from the filechange from .rar to .zip I have only updated the interface-number so the addon isnt tagged as "Out of date".

The only change I could see is the (at least from my side) much appreciated switch to a real .ZIP file.
Filecompare showed no other difference between the last and this version else.

@Manaman: Are you sure Xqoloot is causing that? I'm also using it and whenever there is a masterlootable item on the corpse, the lootwindow just stays open. The only issue I have is that always when that happens, a confirmation dialog pops up, asking if I really want to loot that item, but thats expected behavior I'd say considering it tries to loot anything.

Reason being: I am often loot master, and your mod seems to hide the loot window when looting, making it difficult to distribute the BOPs, while the built in autoloot does not hide the loot window.

Oh no, I uploaded an old version of XqoLoot, I am so sorry, and I'll upload the proper version right away!

Edit: The correct version has been uploaded.

Fast

Instead of just uninstalling this add-on, I decided to peek at the code. It's like the fast loot thing was never there -- it's completely removed. So I wrote in my own flavor of a fast-looting option for now. I don't know if you had anything fancy going on to speed it up, but this'll do for now.

"/xqo fast" no longer available

Hi Xqo,

got the same problem as Kabaka below. Since I updated to the 3.2 version, "/xqo fast" just gives a list of commands. Autoloot only works for money and I don't see an option to enable the addon to loot anything without clicking.

Fast?

Using /xqo fast just gives me the output of /xqo and "fast" is not in the list.

I've got the latest version, freshly installed.

the decompressed files are here, http://yabo.necrolounge.org/inhouse/lua/XqoLoot/

:-)

edit: Just make a folder named XqoLoot in your addons-folder named XqoLoot (case-sensitive), and put all three files in there.
