Skada Damage Meter 
Skada sports segmented fights and detailed views, while being highly efficient with memory. This is accomplished by aggregating data on fight segments.
Skada is entirely modular; the modes listed below are all separate addons. Only the modes you load adds to the memory and CPU cycles used.
Features:
- Automatic mode switching when entering combat. For example, you can have Threat mode be shown in combat. Skada can switch back after combat ends.
- Specific fight segments can be kept indefinately.
- Multiple windows. Each window can be configured fully.
- Threat mode can warn on high threat.
- Modes: Damage done, DPS, Threat, Enemy damage done, Enemy damage taken, Healing, Overhealing, Total healing, Absorbs estimated, Damage taken, Dispels, Mana regen, Debuff uptimes, Failbot, and more.
- Reports can be done everywhere. For example, you can report a certain player's Debuff uptimes.
- Summary information for most modes (DPS, HPS, Fails, etc) in a LDB view/minimap button.
- LDB data feed can show personal/raid DPS or personal threat.
- Support for SharedMedia and Class Colors.
Skada is very easy to extend, and there are many addons out there that add functionality, such as Skada Graphs, SkadaEnsidiaFails, Skada Window Buttons, Skada_FriendlyFire, SkadaHealAbsorbs. There is a page with API information here.
Usage:
Navigation in Skada is done by "drilling down" to the information you want. You go to a lower level, showing more detailed information, by clicking on it, and you go to a higher level by right-clicking.
The top level is the list of all saved fight segments. The second level is the list of all available data modes, such as Damage Done. The third level is one of these modes. Most modes let you drill down for further details. Some modes have several detailed views. In this case you choose alternate views by holding certain keys pressed while clicking. For example, in Damage mode, you can Shift-click a player to see what enemies the player caused damage to. Tooltips will display how to reach the different views.
You can also use window buttons for selecting fight segment and mode directly.
Scrolling in Skada is done with the mousewheel.
New Skada windows can be created from the configuration screen. Each window can be separately configured. A popular feature is "Mode switching", which lets Skada automatically switch to a specific mode on entering combat.
There is a forum thread for discussion on Skada. All suggestions and bug reports are very welcome.

* Added data feeds for showing in an LDB display addon such as Titan Panel. Currently there are personal DPS, raid DPS, and Threat feeds available. These feeds are only available if you are running the corresponding module.
* Added a menu on right-clicking the minimap/LDB icon or shift-clicking the window header; currently has options for setting mode and for reporting. The reporting bit is a little limited at the moment.
* Added an optional background frame. It can either change size dynamically according to the number of shown bars, or have a fixed size, which will then determine the number of shown bars.

Titlebar
hey i have a problem with the titlebar after the update, the titlebar texture changed automatically when i relogg..thats sucks a litte bit
 ( Actually the bar texture was "gradient".

Absorbs and healing
Would it be possible to just merge these into just 'Healing Done'? I know it sounds silly but so does splitting them up
 Here's the real annoyance for me: When you are looking at 'Aborbs and Healing' the mouseover tooltip only showns absorb effects... I have to tab back and forth between that and the regular healing done when I want info on the other healers use of spells. Seems like an unnecessary annoyance? It adds a lot of clutter to the window as well;" Absorbs, Absorbs and healing, healing, total healing" I mean wow! Just merge them will ya? :P |

Segments Problem
Hi people, having trouble with the Skada "Segments". The only combat the is showing in the Segment drop down are "Total" & "Current Fight" (Only keep boss fights & Aggresive combat detection are not checked). I got this error too when I click on the "Keep Segment":

Window reset position
Is there any way that you can add a window reset position option?
I've been experiencing a problem where my Skada meters are hiding themselves aperiodically and I can't get them to return to the middle of the screen. The only way to do this is to destroy (delete) and rebuild the window; however, this has become a nuisance. I've only ever experienced this problem since 4.3. I haven't been able to determine what is causing this, but it primarily happens after entering a instance. I'll try and get more info if required... but perhaps just another button in the Config window that can do this? thanks.

Not keeping madness of deathwing segments, Unless I uncheck keep only boss fights. Even then it seems slightly glitchy only saving some.
Updated to newest bosslib to see if that helps.

It is for me, I found that turning off the record only boss fights it saves my data segements for each fight atleast.

I know that there is no option that allows you to outline the font for this addon, but in the past this could be done through a few LUA tweaks. It seems like this is no more, as something must have changed. Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone get it to work? Below is the LUA tweaks I used to get this to work. I simply added "OUTLINEMONOCHROME" to the original line.
Code: fo:SetFont(media:Fetch('font', p.title.font p.title.fontsize,"OUTLINEMONOCHROME"  Code: g:SetFont(media:Fetch('font', p.barfont), p.barfontsize,"OUTLINEMONOCHROME") Code: bar:SetFont(nil,nil,"OUTLINEMONOCHROME") (this part is in two places) The odd time, the outline is shown on certain text, but quickly disappears and rarely returns. |
