SBF 3.1 Beta   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Satrina Buff Frames version 3.1 has been promoted to release status as of 11 April 2008.

Beta 10
* Added a checkbox to make OmniCC not put a timer on SBF cooldown sweeps
* Fixed an uncommon error in scrolling dropdown menus

Beta 9
* Added a checkbox on the global tab to make frames for party buffs obey the "Hide Party in Raid" setting
* Added an option to show cooldown sweeps on icons
* Temporary enchants should work correctly again now

Beta 8
* Fixed an error with scrolling dropdowns
* Fixed a retarded error with the show buffs/show debuffs checkboxes
* You can now have timers count down showing 1/10 seconds when they hit 5 seconds remaining

Beta 7
* Frames with mouseover visibility should work correctly now
* You can have both buffs and debuffs in the same frame now
* Scrolling dropdown boxes should not autoclose when using the scroll tab anymore
* The frame levels of icons and bars cannot be adjusted anymore (to hopefully prevent ButtonFacade from getting messed up)

Beta 6
* Hopefully eliminated errors on SBFFrame.lua line 435
* Icons should properly size themselves when using ButtonFacade
* Added options to sort buffs by duration

Beta 5
* Frame names should not disappear when adding/removing frames
* Expiry warnings for the same buff in multiple frames should work now
* Frames showing buffs for the mouseover target should work correctly now
* The mouseover frame visibility option is back
* Increased maximum size of text areas to the UI maximum of 34 points
* Buff icon size should be correctly applied now

Beta 4
* Bar freezing should be fixed now!
* You can now set buff frames to expand from the centre out. Check out the new Buff Growth and Buff Anchor sliders on the layout tab
* As a result of the above, your buff frames will probably be laid out wrong until you go into options and fix the sliders
* The number of buffs in a frame is now a text entry box on the Layout tab
* The icon size is now a text entry box on the icon tab
* You should prefer to set the buff icon size very large rather than scaling the entire buff frame, since scaling to a very large size does bad things to your text labels
* Some performance tuning

Beta 3
* Time remaining filters (R, r) are now working again
* The [of] name format will now truncate "of the" spells more sensibly. "Mark of the Wild" will just show "Wild" for example
* Fixed filters to work correctly with spells that have punctuation, specifically "-", in the name
* There is a Clickthrough checkbox on the general tab to make a frame completely ignore mouse input

Beta 2
* Fix so that starting with no pre-existing saved variables does not give errors

SBF appears to be polluting the global environment, I assume mistakenly. I was using a global 'f' to test something, and I noticed it got overwritten by the frame SBFFrame4. You might want to look and make sure you've actually declared locals as locals.

I'm just about to put the release version of 3.1 in the main SBF project. I have a pretty good list of things for 3.2 now, and I'll start on that as soon as I finish rewriting Digits. Watch this space for 3.2 beta! It won't be super soon, but not as long as the wait between 3.0 and 3.1 was

As always, thanks to all of you who tested, reported, and generally put up with errors, oddities, and my sarcasm towards people who can't read. SBF would be nowhere near the addon it is without you all!

I will not be responding to comments, suggestions, or reports in this project until 3.2 beta is put here. Please direct all comments to me via email (satrina@evilempireguild.org) or over at the release SBF project (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ffFrames3.html)

Can you please increase the bar width pixel granularity from 5px to 1px for additional flexibility in UI customization?

It'll be back, yep. I hid the sparks when I made bars able to shrink towards the centre and simply haven't got around to showing them again.

I recently switched from ElkBuffBars to SBF and have been quite happy so far. I do have one very small feature request. Can you please add an option to display a spark effect on the end of a buff bar to provide for a more consistent look and feel with other bar mods that offer it? This spark effect is common in a number of Ace bar mods such as ElkBuffBars, Heatsink, Capping, etc.

Thanks Satrina for making and maintaining this mod. There's only one strange issue I have had so far with beta 10. The tooltip does not display properly for the first debuff/buff in any frame. In fact, it appears as though the clickthrough feature is automatically set on the the first debuff/buff in any frame since I couldn't remove a buff I just cast on myself.

Good news for those who have asked: When 3.1 drops, I'll be able to tell which debuffs were cast by your pet or vehicle. SBF 3.2 will take advantage of this.

I don't think you will need to fix that, DK auras will be removed in 3.1 and its less than a month away.

Hm, interesting. Something to look at for 3.2

Anyway, I'm off for the next 7 days with zero access to anything WoW or Internet. Assuming nobody's blown up the beta when I get back, I will likely release it.

If you are in a 1k winter 40 man raid and have 10 deathknights with http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=50391 specced (unholy tree), you have 10 times the "unholy aura" icon. Same with blood aura and Path of Frost.

Yeah, I am aware that Beta 10 may tell you that SBF Options version 3.1 beta 10 does not match SBF version 3.1 beta 10. You can still open the options frame, though!

3.1 is a huge improvement over 3.0, 1k thanks for that.

Is there the posibility to merge many aura's of the same type into one? I.E. Bloodaura, Unholy Aura or Path of Frost from Deathknights?
