Have you ever been incredibly bored while in World of Warcraft, trying to decide what to do, only to find you've done 5 laps around Dalaran subconsciously while talking to random people? I know I do that a lot. So, one day, after I had made about 10 laps myself, I decided that a good waste of my time would be to write an addon that secretly tracks your laps around Dalaran (or, soon, other circular cities) and reports totals on demand.

This addon has no GUI, intentionally. It is designed such that it tracks your laps behind-the-scene without you realizing it. Only when you realize that you're actually doing laps, then you can ask it to report your total laps and see just how much time you've wasted.

Commands:

/speedway Reports all lap totals (currently only Dalaran is supported)
/speedway reset Resets all lap totals
/speedway <city> Displays the selected city's total (currently only Dalaran is supported)

If anyone has any suggestions on new tracks (other than Ironforge and Shattrath, which I intend to implement), please feel free to request it in comments.

I've done about 5 laps of UC at times when I;m either bored or looking for something. I don't usually ask the guards unless I can't find it on my own :P
