Tooltip
AtlasLootReverse   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Adds a line to an item's tooltip showing who drops it and where. Uses AtlasLoot Enhanced data and therefore requires ALE to be installed and enabled.

Type /alr for options.
  Change Log - AtlasLootReverse
1.7 - TOC updated for 3.3.
- Tooltip library update.
- Additional filtering.

1.6 - Fix giant profile bug (Delete your AtlasLootReverse.lua SavedVariables file).
- Few other minor changes.

1.5 - Updated libraries.
- TOC updated for 3.2.

1.4 - Now shows if an item drops from multiple sources.
- Some simple filtering to make source read a little better.
- Can now toggle embedded tooltip with /alr embed

1.3 - Bumped versions.
- Updated libs.

1.2 - Now works with chat-linked tooltips.
- Better handling of 25 man loot.
- New DB format uses less memory.

1.1 - Fix bug that screws up Auctioneer tooltip.
- Minor text cleanup.

I know, but the release of an expansion pack is always a good time for us to rewrite many things. We will not do big code changes to the WotLK version anymore I am afraid.

Just a small information for all users:
pceric, the author of AtlaslootReverse, allowed us, the Atlasloot dev team, to implement this in Atlasloot itself. We haven't decided how to do it yet, but i will definitely show up somehow in Atlasloot for Cataclysm.

It's really annoying for things like frost orbs to see at their tooltip:

like 10 or more lines.
Can you please, limit the lines to three or two?

Humm, not sure why that would be. I no longer have an active WoW account but you could zip and PM me your SavedVariables file so I can analyze it.

On that note, I'm not sure when or if I'll be back so I'm looking for someone to help in development for the time being. I've got some updates ready and I'll maintain it through patch 3.3.

It is something I would like to do. However, last time I looked into it ALE makes harvesting such information very difficult if not impossible.

Could you make it so that tier items show who drops the token they're changed for? Thanks.

Edit: It seems t7 and forward do this already. Any chance to be fixed for older tiers?

Hi,

On my shaman I'm getting this errors in taint.log when I try to change the totems in my totem-bar, while in combat:

As mentioned earlier in the comments, this mod contains no loot information whatsoever. It is all imported from AtlasLoot Enhanced. Updating ALE will automatically get you the right locations.

Any update for this UI coming anytime soon? There are many wrong locations for items from the last patch that have not been corrected. I was wondering if anything was in the works to be released soon?
