Trekky UI
Trekky UI is from a single screenshot a friend found for me. Its from an mmo that is coming out. Here is a link to the only screenshot we can find.
http://www1.picfront.org/picture/B8faZcFkU/img/stouizv1.jpg

Resolution : 1440x900 & 1920x1200.(for 1920x1200 please see the optional files tab.)

Thanks to KnHawke for configuring this additional set up.

--Installation--

Step one: Back up your WTF, Interface, and Fonts folders in a safe spot.
Step two: Unzip the Trekky UI to either your desktop(or where ever you want to unzip the files.)
Step three: Put the Interface folder, WTF folder and Font folder in your world of Warcraft directory (should be C:/Programs/World of warcraft)
Step Four: Inside the WTF folder you will see an account folder. Enter that folder and inside there you will see a folder that says ACCOUNT NAME. Rename this folder to match your log in/account name. Make sure you put your account name in all caps!
Step five: Inside the ACCOUNT NAME folder you will see a Server Name folder. Rename this folder with your servers name. Capitalize the first letter.
Step six: Inside the Server Name folder there is a Character name folder. Rename this folder with the character you wish to use this ui with. Capitalize the first letter.
Step seven: Log in.

When you first log in things will look messy. Have no fear!

1. Type /reflux switch Trekky <<< Type this exactly the way i have it!

You must put a capitol "T" when typing this or your UI will not install correctly.

Once you do this all the profiles are set and you can begin placing your spells on your bars and set it up the way you like. No more loading multiple profiles!

--Addon Configuration--

  • Experience Bar - Type /xpbarnone config for all options. Currently I have it tracking Reputation. If you need Experience just uncheck the "Track Reputation" Check box under "Reputation"
  • Unit Frames - Type /Stuf for all of your unit frame needs. There is Stuf Unit frames and Stuf Raid. For more documentation please go here to the direct download page -->> Stuf Unit Frames
  • Action Bars - Type /bt4 to add addition bars, scale, move, remove action bars.
  • Scrolling Combat Text - /msbt for all configuration for this mod
  • Art -The art is powered by two things. Kgpanels and Trekkyartpack. Do NOT remove Trekkyartpack. You MAY update kgpanels when it breaks.

--Addons Used--
See Side Picture Labeled Addons --->>>

Credits: I do not claim any of this art work to be my own. I edited it and that is all. I do not claim any of the mods included in this pack. I simply configured them and packaged it up for you guys. Thanks to all the addon authors who's mods i use on a daily basis. Thanks so much!

  Change Log - Trekky UI
4/25/09 - Performance update. Removed tons of shared media information that was not needed. Also added raid target icon to party, and target frames, fixed a few miss aligned frames. Fixed issue with buffs for party still showing when in raid. Fixed party from showing when in raid.
4/21/09 -
Tweaked the unit frames a bit with the text placement. Fixed a few of the things i forgot to move and configure. All should be done now. also made the chat box a tad bit taller so it could fit more text. I just did all the crusade dailys with this ui with no problems.

Love the look of your UI being a Star Trek Fan myself.

I am not currently using this ui but have DL it and have played around with it.

I am building my own UI to fit my play style and needs.

The question i have is:

How did you get the rep bar to look the way you have it and can you show it and the experience bar at the same time.

... Thanks

What gets me is that if your monitor can support 1920x1200, your monitor can support 1680x1050, the two resolutions are the same aspect ratio.

So why 1440x900? Especially when 1680x1050 is the more common Widescreen res. (1440x900 is mostly used by small notebooks and early/cheap widescreen monitors, and 1360x768 is the native res for 720p LCD/Plasma Televisions)

I would love to use this UI, but I can't.

for those with smaller wide screens, i've managed to edit Trekky UI into a 1360x768 (wide) resolution.

any idea how I can move the minimap artwork (not the minimap itself) position? and also the artwork of the chatbox, i'd like to move those both to the left.

I noticed that the 1920x1200 version hasn't been updated since 3.1 has been released. Does it work?

Smallish text

First - LOVE this ui. Thank you so much for making it!

2. The chat text is a little smaller than I'd like it to be. I keep changing the font size in Chatter but every time I log out/in, it goes back to being small. Is there anyway I can make the change stick?

3. Another "bad eyes" problem with the tool tips. Is there a way to configure tooltip text to make it bigger?

That's it. Keep up the good work!

Good job so far. All artwork can be moved with kgpanels for the configuration type /kgpanels config. Then on the left side you will see options for all the panels i made. All of which should be labled accordingly.

As for other resolutions most of those I just can't do. I dont have a monitor that supports those resolutions. I am begging my fiance to let me use his screen sometime in the near future so i can make better sizes though.

Is there any way to set it to the ParentUI and then just have it show in a raid group?

as for other sizes no not at this time. I assure you its really really easy to fix up. this has the fewest art panels ive ever made in a ui.
If you find a way just let me know, and I'll change it on mine. THX
