VertiBroker Mail

VertiBroker_Mail is a simple LibDataBroker plugin which will show whether or not you have new mail. It will also show the last three senders of any unread mail in the tooltip.

It is a port from the Mail Panel of EasyPanels.

I'm a very visual person, so what can I say? Good luck in Ulduar, I wish my guild was there! =)

xtoq A Fallenroot Satyr Forum posts: 24 File comments: 493 Uploads: 1	features Well, just my thoughts: Icon coloring (of course) Click to clear unread count - now, obviously, this doesn't actually "read" the mail, but if I could click the clear the unread count (as in "yes I know they are there but don't show them to me as new") that would be wonderful. Would make watching the mailbox for auctions while grinding so much easier. Mail totals - one of the two brokers has this, but it basically says "2 new mails, 4 unread, 15 read" or some such, and I like to know how many unread mails I have. Senders - The last 3 senders is fine with me, but you might be able to squeeze some more in there, I have no idea. For me, its fine to see that I have 10 unread messages, the last three from the AH because I know that those are probably all expired, but others might want to see more senders, and of course it should be optional, as all good features are. =) Options that would be cool but not "necessary" imo: Sound notification - Sender specific would be even better; only play sound if sender is Auction House Snapshot - View your mailbox from anywhere (although lots of mods like bankitems and altoholic do this already, and obviously it would only be old mails, not new ones) Drop mailbox - Engineers can make a portable mailbox, and it might be nice to have some sort of key/click combo for them to summon their mailboxes. I'm sure I'll think of more, I had one a second ago then my kid happened....anyways, keep up the good work!

It will show the last three senders of unread mail in the tooltip just as this does. It also recolors the icon based on mail status, as mentioned previously. Basically it does the same thing as VertiBroker_Mail but VertiBroker_Mail does not do the icon coloring. Broker_GotMail seems to be more in-depth since it is a rewrite of MailFu. I didn't look into it, but it seems like it tracks all mail senders through it's own methods. So with all of that said, what are some things everyone is looking for to make this Mail Broker AddOn stick out (other than things already pointed out like icon recoloring)?

Yeah, I know. I use both Broker_Mail and Broker_GotMail because one has the icon recoloring and one has the number of read/unread mails in your inbox. I'd like to only have one. =)
