Peggle Add-on for WoW   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
The Peggle Institute has opened a branch in Azeroth!

After we successfully brought the Bejeweled experience into WoW, the PopCap Guild decided to tackle another of our favorite things: Peggle.

We wanted something more competitive that we could use to settle loot disputes and challenge each other while we waited for that last raid member to log on. We've packed in some great touches for the add-on version of Peggle, and now it's ready to be shared with the world!

Features Include:
* Quick Play mode with 12 stages based on major locations in WoW.
* Two Peggle masters, alongside a Peggle Talent Tree!
* Duel Mode: Compete in a quick match against other players!
* Challenge Mode: Create custom leaderboards for friends and guildmates!
* /peggleloot: A hilarious new way to "roll" for loot! Best shot gets the item!
* Free! Yes, absolutely FREE!

How To Play: Peggle Add-on for WoW installs like any other mod.
Simply extract the file into your WoW Interface/Addons directory,
then launch WoW and type /peggle to play!
Change Log - Peggle Add-on for WoW
v1.02b is a toc update

v1.02a
- Fixed an issue where Battle, Duel, and Peggle Loot communication wasn't going thru.

v1.02
- Added a new feature that will display a chat notification when the user recieves game data from another user with the original version of Peggle (1.0). This notification will let you know that they are using a very outdated version, and to let them know so they can update, otherwise they can't play with Peggle users with later versions.
- Added a new option to the options screen, called "Hide Outdated Chat Notifications" which will hide the Peggle 1.0 user notifications.
- Added new code that will prevent communication from users with outdated Peggle addons. In order to Duel or Battle other players, they will need the same version of Peggle.
- Added a new Brag window, allowing the user to select what channel to brag the results to (Guild, Party, Raid, or a player-made channel that the user is currently a member of)
- Changed the "Publish" button to called "Brag" in order to bring the button in line with what it actually does.
- Removed "Default Publish Channel" from the option screen. This feature is now built into the brag screen.

v1.01a
- Reactivated the free-ball bucket.
- Added command "/peggle achievement" to view the easter egg once you've unlocked it.

Version 1.01:
- Fixed the ColorBline error that would also cause green pegs to stick around.
- Fixed the challenge mode error that would freak out occasionally with more than 7 participants
- Other small fixes that would occasionally throw errors
- Added a outdated version check that will notify you when it detects a newer version being used on the server.
- Added the command "/peggle resetwindow" for people who were having problems getting the game back after moving it offscreen.

Heh. That looks to me like part of the code handling the number of balls displayed in the "plunger" area (I'm making a complete guess, but as there are ten i's in a row and you start with ten balls...). Either that or they programmed the addon to somehow "stutter" porky pig style.

This is partially an issue on Blizzard's side, in terms of when "OnDemand" addons can be loaded. The Blizzard UI also has this issue appear, when no addons are enabled and certain parts of the interface are turned on. I will see about pushing this function call into an event that fires later, such as the "PLAYER_LOGIN" event. Sadly, a lot of addons that try to load other addons are receiving this error as well. Thanks for the information!

Doesn't this sort of violate the "no obfuscated code" rule? I studied the code for a while, and while some of it could be written off to "optimizations", some of it clearly isn't.

Finally some change from Bejeweled for fun during those jetlagged flight paths.

I don't suppose there's any way to force Peggle to lock its window in place? Bejeweled has this functionality in it, yet Peggle does not. Gets irritating when I accidentally move the window when trying to click something around it.

Keep trying its ridiculously hardcore, Ive only managed to entirely clear 3 stages to date.
couple of my guildies play this casually, they laughed a bit at the notion of it being 'hardcore'... here's a screenshot with all levels cleared to show it's totally possible:

Another thing you can do is tell your guild mates to STOP publishing their scores. It's a brag feature that the player has to actually click in order to use. In the future, this button will not say "Publish" and will say "Brag" instead, because some people might be of the opinion that they need to hit the publish button to save their scores (they do not, it is done automatically).

Peggle doesn't do chat printout on it's own (except for PeggleLoot mode, but that is required), unless you specifically click a button to broadcast the results of that round. =)

How in the world do you clear all pegs for the second talent point??

I have tried and tried and tried and tried and ... well you get the idea.

Any tips, hints or ideas on this would be greatly appreciated

When you bow up a green one and it in turn blows up the purple peg (from the talent).

The green pegs then stay on the screen and are not hitable
... you are running version 1.0? You should update. That was fixed a while ago =)
