DESCRIPTION

Short description untill i have time to finish it

ToDo: Add options to disable/enable each feature.

Threat Feedback plugin for oUF layouts

This will simply warn you of the current threat level of a unit using different methods:

* Color the backdrop border of the unit frames following Blizzard threat coloring system.

* Send a message to your raid warning frame including different steps in your threat toward your current target.

* Make a Warning sound if you go past 80% threat on your current target

* Make an Aggro sound if you...

This is by no means a replacement for Omen, use at your own risks !

You need to add this plugin to your layout's toc metadata

Ok then, first i'll upload a version with a simple switch to enable/disable the audio warnings, then i'll look into the tanking detection.

Sounds like a nice idea to me. Especially nice, since it should work for my paladin even when not using the AC aura.

Caellian, sir, could we have this please?

If this is too much hassle, a switch would be a nice thing to have. I love the threat colored unitframes, both when healing and tanking. But I can do very well without the warnings.

I was also thinking about suggesting to break this addon into two parts. one that handles the unit frames and one that does the warnings... but a switch will do nicely for me.

The most simple way is to check for the following buffs:

Death Knight - Frost Presence
Druid - Dire Bear Form
Paladin - Righteous Fury
Warrior - Defensive Stance

... and disable the threat warnings when those buffs are active.

Works well for my paladin and druid, but no idea how this would mess with other classes. Anyway, I can see why it is hard for an addon to detect automatically when someone is supposed to have aggro. A bear is usually tanking, but I often use the AC aura while healing, or retribution aura while tanking easy stuff. And as I said, I have no idea how the other two tanking classes work.
