BEM-Button
Version: 1.8.2
by: Sandron [More]
Blizzard-Equipment-Manager Button
This is a tiny addon, which displays a minimap button similar to that one of ItemRack. With that button you can choose the item set (of the Blizzard Equipment Manager) you wan't to equip with two clicks and no opening of the character screen.

Locales: deDE, enUS/enGB
I have removed frFR and esES locales, because they weren't translated good. Please help me translating those and the other locales. Send me a PM or post a comment, if you have a translation. Please don't translate the variables, which are commented out, because the function of those isn't needed.

FAQ
1. Is the list updated automatically
Yes, but there is still a "Refresh sets" button to refresh the list manually, if something doesn't work.
2. Is BEM-Button an equipment manager?
No, it uses the API of the Blizzard EquipmentManager to change and get Item Sets.
3. How do I move the minimap button?
Click on the button and drag it around the minimap. The position will be saved between game sessions.
4. I have a suggestion for this addon!
Feel free to tell me your idea and I will realize it, if it's not too much code, because I want to keep the addon lightweigth.

Can you make it where this will go into my LDB Display (personally I use ChocolateBar but I think all LDB is more or less the same)? I really really really hate having things on my minimap.

Now that Blizz's EM saves "do not save this slot" (and that ItemRack hasn't been updated for 401, and since IR did a ton of things I didn't need), I figure it's time to switch and reduce my addon consumption, even by a little bit. So this looks like a nice little "does only what I want and nothing I don't" addon... but prettiful please can it go into my LDB bar? Thanks a ton for considering \o

One thing i really missed is the option to put a set to bank or grab it from bank with shift+left click.

I do need in raid my tank and dps set while outside i prefer to have 1 of them in bank for the more bagspace when farming etc...

So i added that myself to the addon, if you are interested in adding something like that i could send you the code for it.
Could be nice.

There are many other addons for this, but if you want, you can contact me and I might write a plugin for BEMB to do this, but this will not land in the main addon.

This, I think, can also be done by other addons or a plugin, but I think this is too large to keep BEMB tiny.

Its something Outfitter does but Outfitter uses clunky gear swapping unattached to the gear manager, the gear manager is much smoother and if I could link it to those visual options it would be 100% perfect!
i will think about this

Is there a possibility to add in the item tooltip a line that states in which set the item is used in ?
For example : "Used in set : Tanking".
Try this: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ltip.html#info
