everlUI
everlUI is an all-purpose compilation. The raid layout leans in favor of healers; it was made for myself and the good folks at the UI&Macros forum requested I post it.

Designed for 1920 x 1200 resolution; UIScale 0.819. Please note that it may not load properly in smaller resolutions.

NOTE: The latest versions (1.0.2 and up) have class-colored unit frames. If you would like the unit frames colored like in the side screenshots, copy the SharedMedia folder (Interface\Addons\SharedMedia and the Pitbull settings (WTF\Account\acctname\SavedVariables\) from an earlier version in the Archives section.

Make sure to read and follow the INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS to make sure everything looks correct!

Addon List (Do not automatically update your addons.Pitbull, SharedMedia, and SLDT have been slightly modified to work with this UI.)

Installing everlUI
- Go to your World of Warcraft directory.
- Delete your Interface and WTF folders (and Fonts if it is there)
- Move the Fonts, Interface, and WTF folders from your download of everlUI to your World of Warcraft directory.
- Go to the new WTF folder. The directories inside should look like this:

WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAME\Realm\Charactername

- Replace YOURACCOUNTNAME, Realm, and Charactername with your corresponding personal information.

- Start WoW and log into your character. Things will look strange, but it's easy to fix.
- Type /kgpanels config
- Click "Profiles"; under Existing Profiles select "everlUI"
- Type /sbf options
- Click "Global Options"; select "everlUI"
- Type /bar
- Click "Profiles"; select "everlUI"
- Type /sldt
- Click "Profiles"; select "everlUI"
- Type /console reloadui

- Convert DogTags to LUATexts in Pitbull
- Versions for other resolutions

Hey Just tried to make this ui work for me, and when I tried to select everul existing UI it wasnt one of the options I had any ideas?

Lua Tags
Wow, what a beautiful UI. Simple and elegant. I've been using an adapted version of your setup for some time. I'm wanting to update to the newest Pitbull 4 but it seems that they only accept lua tags now? I know nothing about lua, and I'm wondering if you have made any progress in changing over your dog tags to lua format.

ahaha my bad, i posted this while i was standing still, when i first entered combat, i realized it, ahah.

i love this UI though.

Yup! Turning on constant visibility is easy.

Type /pb

Go to Layouts...under the dropdown at the top choose Player, go to Faders, and uncheck Combat fader. You can adjust the other faders/opacities there too.

yo.
love the interface, i was wondering if there was a way that i could make my health bar visible all the time, or at least have a little thing that showed the percentage of my health.

would seriously help alot.

All I did with Pitbull was change the strata level so that it could be put behind the minimap. It should be a very easy thing to change. Sharedmedia has textures included in the statusbar folder. All you have to do is make sure that you back up those textures and the lua file before updating. Thinking back I should have used MyMedia for those...:/

can you explain the code changes you made to pitbull and sharedMedia? I'd like to be able to update those addons, understanding I will need to replicate your changes. Beautiful layout, btw

Unhappy help!
Okay, well, I saw this linked on tankspot and really liked the screenshots of the ui. Here's my issue, I followed the install instructions and read all the comments here. I cannot get anything to change in the ui. Everything is bunched in the middle. Hell, when I open kgpanels and go to profile there is NO "everlUI" anywhere for me to select. Thank goodness I backed up my old wtf folder and interface folder.

I was wondering if I missed something here. I wanted to use this ui, but seeming as it won't load and I have no idea how to fix it I can't.

I love it! =D

Did some minor changes as moving the raids frames to the lower left.

Got weir messenger about SLD or something.
Remember it was the little text ifo so i deleted it cos I'm more into Titan Panel a/w.

Only wanted to info you about that it's something wrong with SLD ^^


Btw. how do u put on the percent health of your target as well?
(I have to know when to fire off my kill shot ^^)

Thanks! The PB frames aren't REALLY rounded. They're rectangular, but I made my own custom textures for the health/power bars that utilize the alpha channel so that they appear rounded.

And yes, I just discovered Reflux the day or so after I uploaded 1.0.2....definitely picking that up! Too convenient!

How did you make your PB frames rounded on the edges? Gorgeous btw.

Also did you ever consider using Reflux to make it easy to change all the profiles in one go?

Since getting this UI I have changed around a couple of things and added a few things for my healing as a druid. I have learned dogtags and whatnot but not without the help of www.elitistjerks.com If you have any questions I would suggest going to their DogTag 3.0 Thread to get the fastest help! Try inputing this:

That is what I use for my health. I don't know if it's what you want or not. Just let me know and I'll see if I can't find you something else.

You'll have to go into the Layout Editor and select the frame you want to edit Auras on.

So for the target frame, for example, Layout Editor > Target > Auras tab. If I remember correctly, anyways. Personally, I disabled Pitbull Auras and installed Satrina's Buff Frames.

After playing with your UI a few days, I wanted to change the text on the bars to show my current / max health instead of the shortened version, but by messing around with pitbull/dogtag i actually somehow borked the UI up :P how do I change that text without messing up the pitbull frames?
