LootWhatIWant   Updated this week!
AS THIS DEALS WITH DELETING LOOT PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE POST. All warnings for this mod are in here. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. That sad, i've been using this for longer than I posted it. I farm ZG/AQ20 every 3 days, strat at least 10 times a day, KZ/MC every week, and have not had it mess up. However, if you set a variable, or add something you didn't want deleted, it's not my fault.

In 1.0.5 added deleteallgrays, aq20, aq40 commands.

In 1.0.3 added the GUI to the default Blizzard interface addons panel. Also, should be stable, will probably go into beta in 2-3 weeks.

YOU WILL NEED TO DELETE YOUR SV FOR YOUR ACCOUNTNAME AGAIN WITH 1.0.2 if you enabled tracking again, added ability to search by partial mob name, needed to add another list for this to work. It is alpha after all.
IE if you wanted to search for Coren Direbrew, you could type in coren or direbrew or en dire and all would find him. However, it will only give you the first occurence. So if you type in cor and another mob has cor in it, that mob would come up first.

IF YOU ENABLED TRACKING in 1.0a or b or 1.0.1a, YOU WILL NEED TO DELETE THE saved variables under WoW/WTF/Account/Accountname/SavedVariables. BECAUSE SEARCH FUNCTION BEFORE WAS CASE SPECIFIC. I've fixed this but had to change how the tracking DB was stored.

(if your blacklist/tracklist is new as off 1.0a/b you don't need to do this)
YOU WILL NEED TO REDO BLACKLIST/TRACKLIST, please delete saved variables lootwhatiwant.lua.

OK BIG DAY. Moved to 1.0, have added a GUI, check out new images. Also, tracking is enabled account wide and will store all loot from every mob. If your inventory is filled and you re-loot it will double add. Since this rarely happens for me i'm probably not going to figure out a way to tell if a mob had already been looted. Tracking is disabled by default.

Added mouseover command, will display the tracking results for the items you deem to track in the tooltip.

I've added a tracking component for myself (I feel that mobinfo2 keeps too much info), I want to track specific items. So /lwiw tracking will enable tracking, lwiw addtrack [item] will add an item to track, and removetrack will remove it. It's very simple. Also I made it so adding and removing items, you have to add the item link (ie shift click the item in after add/remove/etc.). So you will have to redo your blacklist unfortunately. This was to ensure if something every had the same name but a different item id number.

Would love to hear feed back if everything is working for you. Especially if you use the delete feature. With this release it should save the delete varaiable between sessions if you enable it. So this is a warning, that you won't have to set it each time you log in.

(Removed warning, if your still using .6/.7 please upgrade, last warning)

IF YOU USE THE DELETE FEATURE it will NOT ask for conformation. You've been warned. (ie i add the zg quest items that are epic to it because you can't sell the item nor the turn in). I'm just warning. Now i've tested it for days now and it has never deleted the wrong thing. I have noticed that if you loot too fast (ie 1 mob than a second before you've fully finished looting) it won't always delete a looted deletable item, but will the next time you loot a deletable item. I think this boils down to looting too fast and the variable that is set that you looted a blacklisted item is reset.

I wanted an addon that would skip certain items that I didn't want to loot, especially when I was farming a specific area (ie strat for the mount). I had a mod that would delete grey items, but not anything higher.

Also, this mod outside a group/raid will AUTO loot BoP items.

Turn off auto loot otherwise this won't work (it will let you know). This will auto loot everything (even BoP items) that aren't in your Blacklist. When you are in a group/raid it will autoloot everything except BoP/Blacklist items. You can change this, although it is not recommended, and I am not responsible if you enable looting BoP in group/raids and you loose DKP or are labled a ninja.

LootWhatIWant Mod
usage /lwiw -- prints help
/lwiw add [item] -- add an item to the blacklist to not loot, must be in proper item format (ie shift click after the word add).
/lwiw remove [item] -- remove an item from the blacklist, must be in proper item format (ie shift click after the word add).
/lwiw addtrack [item] -- add an item for loot tracking
/lwiw removetrack [item] -- remove an item from loot tracking
/lwiw enable -- enable this addon
/lwiw disable -- disable this addon
/lwiw gui -- GUI
/wiw tracking -- toggle loot tracking on or off
/lwiw mouseover -- toggle displaying tracked items in tooltip
/lwiw zg or mc or kz or aq20 or aq40 -- enable/disable auto loot in ZG/MC/KZ/AQ20/AQ40 respectivily.
/lwiw deleteallgrays -- delete all grays looted, no matter if in blacklist or not.
/lwiw delete true/false -- enables/disables looting then deleting items in your blacklist. Disabled by default. Have tested as much as I can, Use this at YOUR own risk.
This will not work while your in a group/raid. If you want it to look in the lua file for activeInGroup and change to true. Use at your own risk, not responsible for -dkp or whatever.

Added auto loot for zg/mc/kz, use /lwiw kz /lwiw mc or /lwiw zg to turn it on off. Have also enabled saving delete varaiable through sessions, forgot to save the variable for this.

TODO:
Possible change it so it deletes the blacklist item instead of skipping looting it. not sure if that's how i want to handle it. DONE

Add the ability to add raid zones to turn this on (ie ZG/MC/KZ) for when farming old raid content. Should ad aq20/aq40.
  Change Log - LootWhatIWant
1.0.5 alpha
Added deleteallgrays command, use at your own risk.
Added aq20, aq40 autoloot.

1.0.3a alpha
Added a check to verify target was dead, so when looting bags and targeting NPC you don't add that loot to that npc.

1.0.3 alpha
Added the GUI to the default blizzard interface frame.

1.0.2 alpha
Added ability to search by partial mob name. ie coren should return Coren Direbrew stats, however, if another mob has the word coren in it, and it was first in the list, it would return that mobs stats first.

1.0.1a alpha
Oh of course always find a new bug when some code changes. Small fix when looting non mob's.

1.0.1 alpha
Changed how tracking data is stored, so you can search for a mob without case sensitive, still need to spell it right, or just target it and open the GUI.
Added when you press enter in the editbox for searching it searches what you typed.
Added drop #'s and %'s when listing what mobs drop.
TODO: Add that when targeting a mob the editbox is auto filled instead of having to change tabs or open close the gui to get it to auto fill.

1.0b alpha
Fixed issue with toggling delete.

1.0 alpha
added a GUI, tracking, mouseover

.9 beta
Updated TOC for 3.2

.8
Fixed issue if the mob has no loot, you actually dont' stop looting till you move or something.

.7
Added the delete true to be saved between sessions, in previous versions you had to set it to true on each log in.
Added the ability to turn on autoloot BoP items in ZG/MC/KZ use /lwiw kz or mc or zg depending if you want it turned on for 1 of these zones. These are the 3 raids i farm solo, if you want another one added please let me know.

.6a beta
fixed an issue with active in group being set to true by default instead of false

.6 beta
Added the ability to loot/delete items from your blacklist instead of leaving them on the body. It will loot and then delete the item (there is no way to delete the item off the corpse without looting it).

Ok your request has been included, again use the deleteallgrays at your own risk, as this will delete all grey quality items (yes i spelled it wrong, on purpose or not still don't know myself) even the 100g fishing item if your not careful.

Personally, from a monetary standpoint I fully understand keeping grays in the inventory and selling them. It's part of my own income. And while I wouldn't generally set the add-on to auto-delete grays there are situations where it'd be useful. For me it's repeatedly clearing an instance where I know that, one, the only item I want is... say... blue and two, I want to keep going uninterrupted for as long as possible, without visiting a vendor to clean the inventory. I that situation I wouldn't mind auto-deleting grays and maybe even whites and greens so my inventory slots suffice for as long as possible.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'm looking forward to this feature ;-)

In case you're not already planning this, would it be possible to add a rarity filter like /lwiw add gray (and of course other rarities) so that the add-on automatically deletes items with a certain quality? Maybe something along the lines of the GetInventoryItemQuality() api function to detect the value? That'd be sweet.
First, thank you, glad someone enjoys it.

Second, I guess I could do that, I mean I wouldn't since grays net me according to my garbagefu over 8k sold. Busy with something else right now, but I can take a look soon.

Yep, for me it's great as DK in zg/aq20, can't use the items that are BoP and can't be vendored, so auto delete. Or in strat the water/food that sells low to vendor, so real no use.

I've even delete all my save files and stared from scratch.
I have all the Items listed in my black list and Lwiw is enabled

Also I believe it does do that new thing. It leaves the items
on the corpse that is in the blacklist, But id rather it loot then
delete it.
Yea i thought I fixed that with 1.0a but aparently i uploaded wrong file. 1.0b should fix it. Alternatively, you could go to the LWIW addon folder, open LootWhatIWant.lua and go to line 406 and add:

LootWhatIWant.deleteItems = true

after else.

SOrry about that.

ok now a question about macros for this. I'd like to be able to set a macro to add an item by using the mouseover funtion ( Like hover over an item in your back back and hit your key for the macro that adds that item. I've been trying differant ways but cant seem to get it to work. Any help?
