TourGuide - Alliance Midsummer Fire Festival Guide
It provides an easy to follow guide to visit every festival bonfire to either honor or desecrate and collect Burning Blossoms for ALLIANCE ONLY.
I used Xella's Alliance Midsummer Fire Festival guide post on livejournal (http://community.livejournal.com/worldofwarcraft/7913130.html) as a framework to establish the most effective route.
It includes all of:
-Eastern Kingdoms
-Kalimdor
-Outlands
-Northrend (even though there's no achievement for it)
Some notes:
-This Guide REQUIRES Tekkub's Tourguide to work.
-Midsummer fire Festival is June 21st to July 5th (my birthday! Wheee!).
-This addon was created in 2009 for 2009. If anything changes in later years, I may or may not adjust it.
-THIS GUIDE ONLY CONTAINS ALLIANCE. If you want horde, go show EthanCentaurai's addon some love
Also, this is my first addon ever (partly why I used Ethan's as a framework) so let me know about any problems with the guide and I'll try to fix them.

-Fixed problem with same-named quests where completing one would mark all as completed
-Changed some location names (ie/ ommitted "The" etc) to fix problem where "Go to ___" items in the guide were not auto completing
-Zipped on a PC rather than a mac, so when unzipped on a PC no extra files should be created.

I sent you a PM with a link to my alliance guide for you to add to yours. It's pretty comprehensive, and uses 2 decimal precision on the coords. My guide is based on completing all the achievements necessary to become a Flame Warden but can be used to just do the bonfires also. It is based on this guide and also includes the new northrend bonfires. |

From kargath (horde city) you say to fly to Loch Modan... I don't think the horde fly master will give you a passage

Typos
In the version posted latest, so far I have two zone typos:
Stormpeaks should be Storm Peaks Zuldrak also has a typo that makes it all gobbledegooky. Those are the two I've found so far, only because it says 'can't find zone <blee>, using current zone' Thank you for this, by the way ;D |

yes, i confirm that whenever the guide automatically checks or you manually check a "honor the flame" or "desecrate this fire" objective, all other objectives from the guide which are named the same get checked, so it's actually unusable without constantly unchecking the next objective...

I see someone beat me to it.
A couple of things though... You are using the exact same folder directory as my guide, essentially creating a "red pill blue pill" or situation, and some people here may not understand how to copy my guide to your addon (or vice versa). Also, this may confuse the Curse Client and MMOUI Minion. Personally I would have preferred it if you had contacted me so I could add your work to mine and alleviate this. EDIT: Also there are a few bugs in your guide.

That guide is good but the problem have having is that as the quest is called Honor the Flame, once I've done it, let's say in Elwynn Forest, the quest is validated for every zone. So it just tell us in which zone we need to go and that's all.

I have fixed the issue you mentioned so that it now appears as it should on the addon list. You still cannot run both EthanCentaurai's mod and my own at the same time unless you paste his horde.lua file into my folder replacing the horde.lua file I provide.
Also working on the issue you mentioned about my compressing on a mac creating extra files. Worst comes to worst I'll track down a PC and compress it there. |

rename the mod?
the guide did not load. the zip was created by a Mac, small problem there. But the addon name is the same as the other guide and now neither load. I removed the other midsummer guide, left yours, and yours does not show up in the addon selection list.
