Major Update!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

1.2.4 - July 09, 2009

Trying out a few new things with the castbars. Didn't like how much space they take up on screen,
but if you want the castbars back, simply remove the commented lines [[--kitty on the 3 lines in Interface\AddOns\oUF_D3Orbs\oUF_D3Orbs.lua:

Ok with the latest update on the 3rd button bar from the bottom, the buttons only have a very small area the bottom of the square that you can actually click due to what i believe may be the Orb's overlaying them, cannot figure out how ti fix myself. Also still slightly annoying that we cannot simply click somewhere in the screen off a target to get rid of us targeting them.

Love the loot rolling art though looks great very functional. and my casting bars stack on top of each other at the bottom and you cannot see them most of the time I know how to fix it but some might not.

For functionality i got rid of the ouf raid frames for the Grid ones, the new ones looked good but i wanted a minimalist look on raid frames and Grid does such a good job handling those.

Overall incredible job! Wife and I are both now using this UI over all others and only hope to help you fine tune it with comments so we can continue using it

When I reflux switch kittenui it really doesnt have much effect I have followed the instructions and have re-installed it many times deleting all old folders and inputing the WTF data correctly.

The bars dont change the map stays top left etc.

Also Note the original worked fine for some reason this one hasnt.

1.) To enable castbars go into oUF_D3Orbs\oUF_D3Orbs.lua and remove the --Kitty where you find them.

2.) Open docking station to move that bar.

3.) To move the raid open oUF_D3OrbsRaid\layout.lua scroll to the bottom and change the numbers in this line:

raid[i]:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", UIParent, "TOPLEFT", 20, -500)

Update on my opinions

OK so been using the UI for a few days now and had a chance to look at raiding as well as pvp on top of the regular gameplay.

Issues i've found or rather annoyances: casting bar is sort of hidden by the art. Also stuff too close to the map in game is blocked by the map's invisible interaction points. Not sure how that happens but withint a inch or half inch on my screen i cannot interact with mobs/objects/players. I've also noticed when i target something in the game I cannot simply click off them to get the targeting to go away. I have mixed feelings about the character frames I'll just have to play with them longer to get a better feel.

More to come.

I like this UI and may revert to the normal kitty ui but before I do I would like to try this with the two pictures of the knight and the evil flying hell hound and or dragon removed.

Which file can I find it in to delete it out. TY

Ahh found it dont worry thanks if you were responding I just deleted demon tga and angel tga in rtextures ty.

Thankyou! And thank your wife too! All feedback is totally welcome, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions

Thanks Everlu! If you look on the UI description page under acknowledgements your name is listed for action bar primarily already, no?

@Trafa, it looks like stuff didn't load properly, try reinstalling.

@Lissandria, Raid frame appears above the chat frame. As for default panels being too large, they're actually default size, but you can resize them with "Move Anything".

Hey loving the UI but having problems with configuring it.

That's what it looks like and I'm not sure how to make it look like the example, or something like that. I can't move some of the frames ( I know the D3 Orb frames require the .lua opened in a notepad to edit. ).

Help appreciated! Keep up the good work as well.
