Player Casting
Circle Cast
CircleCast is just what the name suggests, a circular cast bar.

Features:
  • Player Cast Bar
  • Target Cast Bar
  • Player Cast Countdown Timer
  • Target Cast Countdown Timer
  • Player Ping Indicator
  • Customizable via the lua file

This addon does not include casting bars for pets or vehicles

Customizing


Open up "Cast.lua" in a plain text editor (notepad, notepadd++, GEdit...etc) which is located in "World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\Circle_Cast".
At the top of the file, there is a table with all the configuration options.

How to change the texture transparency?

Hello,

I have tried to examine cast.lua to change the texture opacity to something less obtrusive but with my almost non-existent programming skills I can't find the proper syntax. Is it possible and if yes, what part of lua I need to fiddle with? Otherwise I like these castbars but I want it to look a bit less graphically solid.

First off, thank you for Circle Cast 2.

I didn't like the way the gloss/bg looked, they are overbright and not subtle enough (for me anyway). Obviously trans settings in the lua wasn't sufficient enough to overcome this. So I made my own to my personal liking.

Would it possible to add support for an option to add custom or select additional themes?

Anyway, this is what it looks like:

This would take a little bit more than configuration code now that I'm looking into it, I'll slate the fix for 2.5 if you can wait a couple days.

I'll take a deeper look later in the week, I have a couple things to attend to school wise, at best, tuesday. Most likely later in the week or whenever i get around to the target icon fix.

Target icon

How would i get the target icon on i have been trying to get it but just cant.How would it read?Ill just copy and past ty for your help.Nice work too.

The parenting for this mod seems to be coded to ignore scaling/x/y when parented, and I need to still be able to scale it down to fit in the black border of my minimap.
