LUI v2.0   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

LUI v2.0 Patch 3.3 Ready!
WoW User Interface by Louí <In Fidem> - EU RP-PVP Das Syndikat

After the overwhelming feedback for LUI v1.0 i decided to work on an interface for all of you.
It combines an absolute clean solo layout with an informative, well structured ui for raider.
It's your choice! You can decide witch parts of the UI are visible and which are not.

To bring something totally new, all panels will show/hide with an remarkable nice alpha slide effect.

After 5 weeks of hard work, hundreds of cigarettes and many sleepless nights i'm very proud to release LUI v2.0!

Thanks to all of you!

FAQ
Q: Something is wrong with my ChatFrame! The Background Panel is at the wrong Position!!! What should i do?
A: Unlock the Chat. Put him to the center of the screen, so you have enough space. Resize him. Put him back to the bottom left corner. Make some final resizes. Done.
Important!

Q: I installed your UI and all addons, just everything is messed up at the center ot the screen. Whats the problem?
A: You will have to load your Reflux profile. Just read the "Ingame Configuration" !!

Q: I typed in your reflux command, but the problem occurs anyway!!
A: Then you made a mistake by installing the UI correctly. Make sure you renamed your WTF folders correctly. Make sure you did not overwrite your existing folders with mine.

Q: I got thousends of lua errors from bartender! What should i do?
A: Make sure all 10 Bartender Bars are enabled! You can hide bars you do not wanna see at the visibilty tab.

Q: What's the name of the addon that displays the timers above the player frame?
A: FortExorcist Spelltimer (Type /fx)

Q: I installed some other addons and now there name and icon appear at the center of the screen. How i can add them to the topBar(FuBar) or hide them?
A: Type /sbc (StatBlockCore)

Q: Is it possible to add a third ActionBar?
A: Yes.
A: type /bt
put a third bar above your existing two.
go to the visbility tab and uncheck always hide.

type /kgpanels config
go to ActivePanels
choose "bars", "bars2", "bars3"
increase the height to 130

choose "line_bars_left_down", "line_bars_right_down"
increase the height to 91
increase the Y Offset to -39

Q: All the Panels are still there, even when i am in Solo Mode.. whats the Problem?
A: Type /grid config, then go to Layout and Check if Solo Mode = None.

Q: What is that box between player and target frame that appears in bossfights and how i get rid of it?
A: This is a selfmade DebuffTracker. It will show all debuffs on the boss which are increasing mage dps. you can configure this tracker for every class by typing /kgpanels config, then go to active panels and choose "debuffs". Delete the Panel to get rid of it, or edit the LUA Code you'll find at Scripts -> OnEvent.

TUTORIALS

1. Create a second clickable Sidebar on the left side of the screen.
Screenshot: CLICK ME!
Tutorial: CLICK ME!

PS: Now it looks like this. Niiiice!

1) Remove your old 'WTF' and 'Interface' folders (back them up though!) from your WoW folder. For Win7 they are located at C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft.

2) Copy the 'WTF' and 'Interface' folders from the unzipped LUI folder to your WoW folder.

3) Go into your newly copied 'WTF' folder, and rename 'ACCOUNTNAME' to your orginal account name (so not your battle.net). So, if your account name is 'Oegullon', rename the 'ACCOUNTNAME' folder to 'OEGULLON'.

4) Go into your accountname folder (in my example 'OEGULLON'), and rename 'SERVERNAME' to the name of your server. So, if your server name is 'Bloodscalp', rename the 'SERVERNAME' folder to 'Bloodscalp'.

5) Go into your servername folder (in my example 'Bloodscalp'), and rename 'CHARNAME' to the name of your char. If you have multiple characters make some extra copies of the 'CHARNAME' folder first, so you have one for each of your characters. So, if your character is named 'Salsa', rename the 'CHARNAME' folder to 'Salsa'.

6) Start up WoW and log on to your char. Type '/reflux switch LUI' and hit enter.

I'm having a problem with connecting after installing this addon. I followed all instructions properly and tried it twice to make sure but couldn't get it to work. I think it may have something to do with the composer playing on EU and myself playing on US, because after installing it the server listed at the log in screen is european and I when I type my info in it can't recognize my account. Anything I can do about this?

If that is the case, follow the instructions by this blue poster to fix your problems.

http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread....22154496&sid=1

Now place the LUI interface and WTF files in the wow directory.
I just see a couple of ".." after the thread word... maybe you can copy the whole URL?...
because i do have windows 7 ultimate
and that thread may help me fix the problem im having right now, thanks dude!

definately, panels wont show up. wtf its goin on!
For example, the menu he clicks when he gets on, wich says "Chat... etc" at the top, wont show at all.
What its going on with my ui??
I mean, i just backuped and removed my previous WTF, Interface and Extras folders... and still, it wont work.

For example, when he says
"type /kgpanels config
go to ActivePanels
choose "bars", "bars2", "bars3"
increase the height to 130"

Those panels, bars, bars2, and bars3 dont even exist!!!

tried again, and again the same problem, panels just wont show up, and everything its just like in the screenshot i posted above...
Not my intention to bother, not at all, but it just seems like its not working, and ive done everything louie said on the "where the screenshots are" place...
Renamed the folders, used the reflux command, and it just wont work
on "/kgpanels config" i just see the "Herer" panel, with no info on it...

Yes? Awesome, try do that the next time aswell before asking questions, and you're welcome

No? Well then, in that case, ill take the time to explain exactly the same as Lui just told you from he's installation guide. and make sure you get to the point where you UI works again.

Seriously ppl, how can you **** up that a simple configuration? I have seen tons of problematic UIs. First rule, try to configure it yourself .. if can't try finding a solution or what caused it. Second rule, learn to read the instructions properly and don't do whatever you want if u are not fully knowledgable about what you are doing. Bear in mind that the author apart from upgrading and helping the players with information and assistance he has to bear with his own things. He can't be explaining the same things over and over..

Arrow Background fade

Hi, first of all love the UI i use it on all my charachters now, but i was wondering if there is anyway to disable the menu settings or alter them so it doesnt fade in and out all the time, i like the look and feel of it but whenever i go into arena or come back from a heroic the backgrounds fade out so i want the default setup to be with all the backgrounds on, any help would be much appriciated!

DO NOT UPDATE QUARTZ - it will break your Casting bar settings completely.
