Ara Broker Reputations
This data broker plugin keeps track of your watched faction and displays a Blizzard-like faction list: colored bars in tree view mode that show standing (ie: Honored) and switch to raw numbers (ie: 2400/12000) when mouse hovered. You can access the config menu by right-clicking the block.

It does pretty much what Broker Factions does with the following additions:
- Can represent the watched faction with an ASCII bar.
- Can watch hidden factions.
- Colors are editable.

It has been designed with efficiency in mind: fast and lightweight, yet feature full.

Click a header (white entry) to expand or collapse.
Click a faction to "watch" it. (Alliance Vaguard and Horde Expedition are special cases and require a shift+click to be watched.)
Middle-Click a faction to move it to actives/inactives.
Right-Click a faction to copy its info in chatbox.

Collapsed headers are saved across session (with the exception of inactive factions that are automatically collapsed by Blizzard at login).

This plugin supports AddonLoader (delayed loading), Skinner and SharedMedia (limited).

Credits: Broker Factions (Tristanian) for options and color coding ideas.

Thanks so much for the update! This is my favorite reputation broker, and I'm so pleased to hear you'll be checking out your other addons for feature requests and debugging. Hoping to have you back at wow soon! Thanks so much!

I never explored properly how the font system works because it was boring, and now I'm lazy , so here is how I would do it:
- Create a "Fonts" folder at the root of your WoW install folder ("D:\Applications\World of Warcraft\Fonts\" in my case).
- Put 4 copies of the Calibri font in that folder.
- Rename them as: "ARIALN.ttf", "FRIZQT__.ttf", "MORPHEUS.ttf" and "skurri.ttf".

Done in r4.

What Broker Factions did that I was using before you made this, was ignore negative rep gains. Could you implement that? (How bout as an option? Default to on?)

Editing TOC files is neither necessary nor recommended. Simply use the "Load out of date addons" option Blizzard gives you at the addons screen.

Thanks

Really pleased I found this when I moved from fubar!

Thanks for all your efforts, any chance you could adjust the font as I use Calibri everywhere?

I did try to change the lua file myself but failed, think its something to do with onevent setfont, and not declaring the calabri.ttf correctly the bar tezt appears fine just the tootip errors with:-

Edit - also I'd like the ability to see the spill over from various "groups" of factions ie Alliance?

Gonna replace the amended file in the mean time.

Outstanding add-on! I love being able to easily mouse over and see what all my current faction standings are.

Have a question though. I like the colors of the ASCII, so I did a copy/paste of those colors over to the Blizzard colors in the options so that the bars from the tool-tip are the same colors as the text display in the block of the add-on, but the thing is it also changes the color of the faction name in the block of the add-on. Instead of it being the same color as the current reputation level, I would just like to have the faction name in the block be white, but if I change it in Blizzard colors, then it turns all the bars in the tool-tip to white as well.

To try to simplify what I stated above, it goes something like this, again this is for the block text.

(Default)
The Sons of Hodir - Honored - 63% - 7625/12000 - Session +0

(What I would like it to look like)
The Sons of Hodir - Honored - 63% - 7625/12000 - Session +0

But, when I changed the faction name to white (which is done via the Blizzard color options for the add-on, it also changes the tool-tips bars to all white.

If that still isn't a good explanation, let me know and I will take screen shots to even better explain.

Thank you again for this outstanding add-on!

Anyway, really do love this, and the other addons of yours l've tried.
Why don't you turn off auto-switch when you grind a specific faction and turn it on when you do various dailies ?

A working solution implies to run a timer at login that wait for reputation data to be available, and when it's ready, expand all headers and get those values. But it's not elegant, requires CPU at a crucial time (login), and too much code for a small issue.
Fair enough. I had been used to seeing the spill-over rep tracked via Broker_Factions, so when I was trying out this mod and not seeing the rep tracked similarly after the patch, I had actually worried something changed. Had to manually record my totals for the other sities and then compare after a turn-in to verify it still was getting the rep.
