CCbreaker
CCBreaker (WotLK Fan Update)
** This is an update to an addon made by Pheredhel **
** You can find the original on wowinterface here. **

CCBreaker

Simply Put, this is an addon that displays breaks in crowd control.
The output will always show privatly just to you, and can be set to display in party, raid, or raidwarning. The output can be formatted and shows which mob was broken, who broke the Crowd control, and which ability it was broken with (if it was something other than an auto attack).

The reporting function can also be toggled on and off based on: class, cc type, main tank/assist, and pets.

The types of crowd control that are currently functional are: Sap, Polymorph (sheep, pig, and penguin are tested), Repentance, Freezing Trap, Freezing Arrow, Shackle, Suduction, Hibernate, and Wyvern Sting.
** Note: Hex does not currently work with this addon because WoW does not count Hex as a broken crowd control when it is removed. The WoW client treats Hex like a debuff being dispelled instead of a crowd control being broken. I am working to add Hex functionality to the addon, but being as this is my first attempt into wow addon programming, I am still in the midst of a learning curve**

What works on this version above and beyond that of the original:

- Deathkights are now a part of the addon and will be tattled on accordingly.
- Wyvern Sting is reported
- Repentance is reported
- Freezing Arrow is reported
- Hybernate is reported
- WotLK ranks of all other crowd controls are reported

Future Plans
- Update for locales other than enUS (and deDE as of v1.01)
- Add Hex functionality
- Add functionality to show when crowd control breaks naturally
- Add raid symbols to the report if the broken mob was marked

Yes, that is indeed what happened, I was looking into converting to Ace3 (I thought the old version of ace was why deathknights weren't working at first, noob moment ). I'll get those unused libraries out of there.

Also, I'm adding in the deDE locale, but I used "deathknight" in the translation. If anyone could post the actual german word for deathknight, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Libraries

thanks for updating this!

just an FYI - there are a number of Ace3 libraries in your libs folder that the addon doesn't appear to use along with all of their Ace2 counterparts (which the addon does use). I'm not sure if you were starting a conversion and didn't continue or something, but the current addon probably doesn't need both Ace's in there.
