SimpleGroupTell
Overview

Adds a /gr command for sending whispers to your current group (part/raid/bg/etc). When used interactively it will dynamically change the text from /gr to the appropriate tell command. Also can be used from macros.

No configuration required, just install and go.

You are correct. When I bailed on Chatter I missed the /gr feature.

so I am confused is this like the smartgroup option that is avalable through chatter which will smartly send messages to either party/raid/battleground or does this whisper everyone in the raid? if it's the first might want to reword the word whisper with something like message in it's stead as im sure I am not the only one confused.

Yeah... kinda silly. And when I stopped using Chatter, I realized I actually used it all the time.

it's amazing that after nearly five years....the game still doesn't have this feature by default.
