This is a UI that tries to combine both simplicity and versatility. I play multiple classes, my main being a resto shaman. I raid, I quest, I do most stuff but pvp and I need an Interface that works for me in every character with as few tweaks as possible without losing important information.

This is my first interface released to the public. Bare in mind that it's just a compilation that I've done based on the work of others. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to Caith for his Interface, which I've been using for a long time. That being said, this UI has been gathered by myself from scratch, so it might have a few bugs here and there and I'm releasing it in beta at the moment.

Any feedback, questions, comments and suggestions are more than welcome and encouraged. Help me make my Interface a better one, for both me and you.

Configuration:

First of all backup your WTF, Interface and Cache folders.

Then replace them with mine and change the names of the following folders inside WTF:
ACCOUNTNAME: change this to your account name
Server: change to the name of your server
Character: change to the name of the character you will log in.

Log in and type either (caps sensitive):

/reflux switch Drael UI

For portraits:

/zmob config
go to profiles, copy one of mine (Drael-Tyrande) and paste it in the one of your char.

If you play a DK, there's Magic Runes in the compilation but it will overlap Classtimers. You'd want to move Classtimers a bit for your DK.

If any addon doesn't look like it should (as you see on the screenshots) try changing the profile manually and let me know so I can fix it.

After that reload your UI and you are good to go!

You can also load/unload any addons in game using /ACP.

P.S.: I have not added every single Addon I use in a daily basis because a lot of them are class related or auctioning addons that don't apply to most people wanting to use my UI. Anyway I've not deleted my WTF configs for them and you may use download them yourself and use my configs as you wish.

If you want to update the addons from this interface you have to be careful with the following addons (otherwise your UI might look different than expected):

Change Log - Drael UI

Version changes:

Version 1.0:

- Changed Fubar to ChocolateBar and several Broker plugins for it.
- Raid frames are hidded in Pitbull and replaced with Grid (you can uninstall Grid and enable Pitbull raid frames again if you want, but I'm not changing them anymore)
- Added a mod for portraits

Version 0.2:

Addons added
- Magic Runes (there wasn't any addon for dk runes and classtimers/quartz were overlapping them)
- Reflux added to ease a bit the process of switching profiles
Added the following addons to the folder Extra (you should choose wether you want to install them or not, they just add extra functionality):

- Overachiever

Changes
- Pitbull frames for Plaer, Target, ToT, Focus and Focus Target were changed. Also changed fonts on some frames aswell as added new dogtag for raid buffs (see documentation on readme file)

Probably going to change the bars around a bit to fit another in there, and get rid of the other that's just... out of place XD (Ignore my crappy keybindings, they were from my warrior XD; and haven't changed them yet for my priesty)

But seriously, lovely ui <3

From my experience, if you have a widescreen screen then you won't have much trouble with it. Just adapt the texts and such and you will be up and running. I play this UI on a 24" monitor and on my 15'4" laptop and it works perfectly.

From my guildies feedback I know that it works on other resolutions lower than mine. Give it a try and tell me how it works out for you.

Well thanks for your input. If you read the other posts you would have noticed how I said this is my first ui and that I loved caith’s work. I never said it was original or something unseen, I just wanted to be “mine”. I didn’t copy his profiles, I used his idea for the bars because it’s the best that has worked for me so far, and improved what I thought could be done differently. I would love to make my UI much more unique than it is, but you know, Caith had great ideas and some of them are very difficult to make even better. With constructive criticism and help I’m sure this UI will grow to be something better, beautiful, but I’m glad of what I accomplished already.
