re oUF_WTF
Hi there,
Just want to say ty for your'e great layouts.Been a long time user of oUF noob and downloaded this one yesterday.Played a bit with the lua to change the health values so that they can be the same as oUF noob and it is working like a charm.Would you please consider making a healer layout with the raid frames or can you please tell me how to disable your raidframes in the lua so I can use ouf freebgrid? thank you once again for your'e creative layouts.Maybe it is just us chicks that likes the layout, because it has a feminine touch to it. Have a nice day ![]() |

i got the pet focus working.... i did a huge retard mistake and forgot to test it, thought i had lol. it's working now, once i get a few more things wrapped up i'll post it. I'm not a huge fan of buff / debuff icons for pet because honestly on my hunter if there's a poison debuff or disease one i'll get rid of it, these frames should all work with debuff highlighting so no need for the icons. other than that I didn't add more things because I wanted this to be pretty simplistic / minimal. To others: this layout is not meant for healing, as I said before this layout would most likely piss me off when I'm healing a raid (2 of my 4 80's are healers). but for dps, it certainly works once you're used to the layout and know how the raid frames are spawned. the partys will always be in the same place, and it gives you more than enough info to dps the boss till you're dead. as a tank it might be nice to have the mana bars so you know if you need to pop a cd till innertave does it's magic or w/e but what i've found is no matter the raid frame layout, it takes too long to check all the healers mana anyway, if you think their oom you should pop a cd, god knows blizz gave all tanks plenty of them. I'm starting to concider a 'healer mode' for this, but not sure if it's something I want to do yet. If I do, this would remain a vertical layout, but I would add mana bars to the right of each raid frame (without making the health bars thinner, their thin enough already) and spawn the frames differently ie: first number party, second number member 1,5 2,5 3,5 etc.... 1,4 2,4 3,4 1,3 2,3 3,3 1,2 2,2 3,2 1,1 2,1 3,1 I like the pet frames.... they provide vehicle support. and really, there's no other place to put them without them looking horrible. other than all that, I'm adding the same black border that i have for player, etc... to all frames.... this was actually the original intention, but while i was making the other frames, when i was about 1/2 done i tested it and just liked the way it looked. also, remember that when you're working with a 1 or 2 pixel border, it's likely to look a little screwy on some screens.... not everyone will use the same scale, not everyone will use the same resolution and not everyone has a really really nice monitor. so it's likely to look like 2 pixels on one side but 1 on another, etc... on some screens, making it look a bit sloppy when it's actually not, it's just one of those factors i listed above. anyway, better stop this post so i can finish and post it before i have to start homeschooling my son o.O oh, : "Second, the data is too much squeezed, making it impossible, to get quickly the data you actually need. " not sure what you mean..... there's actually a lot of space between health and mana bars..... and buffs / debuffs are generally always on the top / bottom of the frames, this is same concept just turned i do think that the pet, focus frames make it a little tighter than it probably should be but I happen to like that and find them as useful as they need to be in a raid or pvp... i am however still trying to decide which buffs i want to filter out for which frames... i would generally filter all but self cast raid buffs but not sure yet.

To conclude my post below,
first, on your Question if its wether good oder bad, imho, they're creative, but, the standard blizz-texture ruins the Raidframes. If you take a flat texture, and set a 1-2px Border around it, it'll look more... professional. Second, the data is too much squeezed, making it impossible, to get quickly the data you actually need. Your Frames are an interesting idea, but not raid or pvp capable, at the moment :|

Awesome
The names and scaling are great additions and work very well.I see where you've also put in a bar in the pet frame for focus. This doesn't appear to be working, however. As an aside, I'm not sure I'm in the majority when I give feedback on pet frames ... I'm one of those that likes to see the pet as a party member ... with buffs/debuffs, power, etc etc. Not all are like me, however. Another aside ... is there a line addition or edit I can do to keep the pet frame firmly anchored to the player frame when the player frame is moved? Or is that a function in MovableFrames? OH! And here's me doing my venomhide daily fiddling with the scaling options. I also cubed the frame out ![]() ![]()

This looks awesome. Glad to see some more vertical frames! And I love how the buff/debuffs are organized.
Has anyone had a chance to try it healing? Those frames look very tiny for mouse over healing. But might just work. I do have one suggestion and it may just be a personal thing. When I'm healing I like to see where the rest of the raid's healer's mana is at so we can coordinate regen cds. I'm sure I can create this on the bars myself but your layout looks so nice I don't want to go tweaking it. |

![]() things i've fixed so far: icon strata ouf buffs/debuffs hidden when regular ones shown moveable frames target and party names with variable in top of lua file put in scaling (problem with this is SetScale also changes scaling from anchoring, which I hate, but i'll get it going, there's other ways to do it).

Sure thing.

One thing to possibly fix .... pet happiness doesn't appear to be updating in any fashion. Edited to add: The resting icon on the player frame wants to sit on top of everything See screenie of the npc dialogue frame, which is covering my player frame ...http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/4387/afkiconthing.jpg
