HITSHADE UI v3.0

1680x1050

Hitshade UI is a complete raid compilation with an emphasis on minimalistic screen and memory usage. (5-6Mb during raids) I loved the design of TUKUI and was inspired to create a compilation in the same vein, customized for raiders. Hence the birth of Hitshade UI.

You can view v2.1 in in action here.

I take no credit for the creation of mods contained, only some very minimal adjustments.

INSTALLATION:

- Backup and then delete your "Fonts" "Interface" and "WTF" folders
- Copy the folders "WTF" "Fonts" and "Interface" to your World of Warcraft folder.
- Rename "YOURACCOUNT" to your accountname.
- Rename "YOURREALM" to your server name.
- Rename the various character templates to your characters name.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Many addons have had their customization disabled. To turn them back on, you can use Ampere (from the in game interface menu) to load their options on demand and make any adjustments required.

I will attempt to keep this UI as updated as possible, however I highly suggest using Minion to accomplish this for you. Only a couple of the addons listed above are not available for update via the Minion client.

In a future version I plan to include a text file with all the /slash commands necessary for modification of the UI. For now, please follow the hyperlinks for addon information. Feel free to post any comments, questions or suggestions! I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion. I hope you enjoy Hitshade UI!

-Skada disabled on most profiles to further reduce cpu usage during raids (Can be turned back on using Ampere or the Addons menu)

-Minor tweaks to positioning
-Death Knight template removed until I resolve issues surrounding rune CD/placement issues.

Hey, thanks for the awesome UI, i love it.

Just a nub question tho, how do you turn off the raid frames on the lower right hand corner if i'm using grid as heals?

As far as I know, there isn't currently a way to choose which bars are hidden when using a vehicle. As I understand, rActionBarStyler is simply designed to allow manipulation of the in game action bars.

Since the standard UI hides all other buttons while in a vehicle I assume nothing was written in to the addon to change this behavior.

Amazing
This by far is the most awesome UI I have used in a very long time and realy hope you keep going with this one. I do have one question though. Is there a way to chose which action bars hide when I get in to a vehicle?

I dont have any plans to update this addon until 3.3 goes live.

Based on the behavior Ive seen on the PTR, there are a lot of updates that will need to occur in order for this ui to remain functional. Of course, this is highly dependant on the addon authors but rest assured I'll update asap!

I would suggest Skada

Because its modular you can disable everything you dont want to track, reducing the strain on your system. While its much more lightweight than recount, unfortunately any damage meter generally uses a large chunk of memory and cpu cycles that will further reduce your raid performance. Unless you find it absolutely necessary I would probably run without a meter at all and just rely on your guild mates.

Yeah, but the problem with adjusting the UI scale is that things go off the screen. I'm currently working on making my own personal UI to imitate yours a bit. What DPS tracker are you using? I've tried the MyDPS broker, but it doesn't seem accurate in comparison to my guildie's recount. I play on a 2.5 year old laptop, so my frame rate is not the best and I need to keep memory usage down as much as possible.

Unfortunately this UI was only built for 1680x1050 resolutions.

fixed it alrdy, i went to power auras and get import of shadows and set it in HitshadeUI, now ,im trying made shadow priest spell time into ForteXorcist lol.
its my first time do like that, its really funny. XD

Hi, Ur UI is really good, i like very much, but now i get a problem is when i use shadow priest
i cast dot as shadow word pain, touch on boss , but i cant see the dot time as a debuff like moonfire(though power auras problem) i try to fix it but i failed.
can u help me fix it? thx

I just saw your update right now and realized you took out the tpanel from TUKUI. Is there any possibility now that you maybe add a second bar?
For me, there are way too less buttons ^^

What you are seeing is:
-caelNamePlates – Sexy nameplates addon

Which is included in this compilation. (If you have aloft running as well there would likely be a conflict preventing you from seeing one or the other). Also of note: caelNamePlates will turn nameplates on and off based on being in/out of combat.

Unfortunately no, at least not without having to edit the code. This is tPanel which comes directly from TUKUI, and was designed for a specific purpose with no in game configuration.

You could download kgpanels to create a new panel frame and replace tPanels if you wanted to. Just be aware that some of the data at the bottom of your screen would be lost (durability, gold, etc.) You would want to download additional broker displays to show the information on NinjaPanel. I suggest BasicBrokers if you plan on going this route.

Mind you, you dont necessarily have to remove tPanels, you could run kgPanels at the same time and not lose anything.
