Usage:
Install and go! If you want a bigger fontsize, different font or bartexture, open ncNameplates/ncNameplates.lua and edit line 1-7. That's all there is!
Next Update will include several color options for the health bar.

I'm done waiting as well. I found an addon called Aloft that with a little tweeking will do the samething. and it has been updated.
