Re: Re: Preview of new update

You will need a text editor, notepad works but it very limited. I personally use Notepad++. It can be set to LUA syntax for much easier reading.
  1. Open World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\SasUI\config.lua
  2. For visible PlayerFrame at all times. Look in cfg.units under player then find combat change show = true, to show = false, ( side note I forget to change show to enable which might be why it can be confusing. )
    Code:
    cfg.units	= {
    	player	= {
    		show  = true,
    		pos		= { a1 = "CENTER", a2 = "CENTER", af = UIParent, x = -262, y = -190},
    		scale	= 1.15, -- 1.0 = 100%
    		combat	= {
    			show 	= true,
    			fadeIn = 1,
    			fadeOut = 0.4,
    		},
  3. Action bars are similar to PlayeFrame. Find cfg.bars then the bar you want ( they labeled bar 1 - 5 ) under them find combat. Change enable = true, to enable = false,
    Code:
    cfg.bars = {
    	--BAR 1
    	bar1 = {
    		enable = true, --enable module
    		uselayout2x6 = false,
    		scale = 0.92,
    		padding = 2, --frame padding
    		buttons = {
    			size = 26,
    			margin = 5,
    		},
    		pos = { a1 = "BOTTOM", a2 = "BOTTOM", af = UIParent, x = -1, y = 222 },
    		userplaced = {
    			enable = true,
    		},
    		mouseover = {
    			enable  = true,
    			fadeIn  = {time = 0.4, alpha = 1},
    			fadeOut = {time = 0.3, alpha = 0.4},
    		},
    		combat = { --fade the bar in/out in combat/out of combat
    			enable  = true,
    			fadeIn  = {time = 0.4, alpha = 1},
    			fadeOut = {time = 0.3, alpha = 0.4},
    		},
    	},
  4. Action Bar moving. They can be moved in-game with /rabs unlock then shift drag them into new locations. If you want the other horizontal bar back then in the config find bar3 and change combineWithBar4AndBar5 = true, to combineWithBar4AndBar5 = false, after that change vertical = true, to vertical = false,
    Code:
    --BAR 3
    bar3 = {
    	enable = true, --enable module
    	combineWithBar4AndBar5 = true, --by choosing true bar 3, 4 and 5 will react to the same hover effect, thus true/false at the same time, settings for bar4 and bar5 will be ignored
    	vertical = true,
  5. Save the file.
  6. If WoW was running then reloadUI ( /reload ). If WoW was not running then start WoW.

** all the config file is is a massive variable defining file. example PlayerFrame combat fading. The variable is cfg.units.player.combat.show = true, **

Hope this helps. Sorry about the delay working 80 hour weeks.

Open World of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/SasUI/config.lua
Search for the bar you are looking for.
MainActionBar = Bar1
MultiBottomBarLeft = Bar2
MultiBottomBarRIght = Bar3
MultiRightBar = Bar4
MultiLeftBar = Bar5

Default setup has the all bars but Bar1 set to hide. Bar2 and PetBar appear in combat. Bar3 is attached to Bar4 and 5. They will all appear on mouseover. If mouseover occurs in combat ( when Bar2 is visible ) then when mouseover ends the bar will hide regardless of combat or not.

Glad you like it, hope this helps.

in the FAQ the answer can be found.

Open World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\SasUI\config.lua
Change
Code:
  -- Player Frame Placement IN of Combat
  a2 = "CENTER" -- Anchor Point of Frame
  af2 = UIParent      -- Anchor Frame
  x2  = -315          -- x axis movement
  y2  = 0             -- y axis movement
to look like
Code:
  -- Player Frame Placement OUT of Combat
  a1 = "TOPLEFT" -- Anchor Point of Frame
  af1 = ActionButton1 -- Anchor Frame
  x1  = -175          -- x axis movement
  y1  = 200           -- y axis movement
Do the same for target frame.

Re: Opacity?

Opps forgot to add that to the config itself. its under World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\SasUI\ActionBar.lua
Code:
	-----------------------------
	-- CONFIG
	-----------------------------

	local PBA = 0.4 -- Opacity of Pet Bar
	local SBA = 0.4 -- Opacity of Stance Bar
	local RBA = 0.4 -- Opacity of Right Action Bars
	local MMA = 0.4 -- Opacity of Micro Menu Buttons
Change from 0 ( invisible ) to 1 ( fully visible )

Which ones are yours? I had thought I got everyone when giving credit. I don't use ElvUI, from the quick look through the pictures i don't see anything off the top.
