To use this skin:
1. Exit WoW
2. Download and install the most recent version of nUI if you have not already as you would any other addon. You should unzip the contents of the download file into your Interface\AddOns directory
3. Download and install this skin as you would any other addon and unzip it into the Interface\AddOns directory as well.
4. After downloading and installing both mods, you should have both an Interface\AddOns\nUI directory and an Interface\AddOns\nUI_Paladin directory
5. Run WoW and log in. Before selecting a character to play, click on the "AddOns" button in the lower left corner of the screen and enable the nUI Paladin addon. You can return to using the default nUI dashboard at any time by disabling nUI Paladin.
6. Select your character and enter the world. nUI will automatically replace the default dashboard with the nUI Paladin skin if it is enabled.

w00t, glad it worked for you!
The font I'm using is right out of nUI+ and is called Emblem. You can find it in AddOns\nUI\Layouts\Default\Fonts.

Yes, eventually I will have a skin for each of the classes. It depends on my mood as to when I create them though. I'm waiting for Scott to get done with nUI6 (there is no ETA on that), because I think the skins everyone is making will have to be updated to work with it (which is why I'm in no hurry to spit out one for each class right away). I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS 8 to make the graphics, and Notepad ++ for the lua editing. Not many notice how consistent I am with fonts... it's a thing with me lol. Future Skins and Font Questions
Love your DK and Pally skins! Can we expect to see one for each class sometime in the future? What apps do you use to develop the skins?
One Question for you. Your interfaces font is consistent throughout. What do you use to make that happen (e.g. FuBar (?) font is consistent with that of nUI)? |
