Important Note - This UI is based heavily on Damia's UI. I've used their ui for the last six months and am a great personal fan of their work. I'm posting up my variation on Damia's UI due to all the questions I've been asked regarding it and some of the different changes I've made. Most of the settings will be familiar to those of you that already use Damia's, all I have done is changed a few addons here and there and tweaked it a bit for my Paladin and guild that I raid with.
So, without further adeu, let's get down to the specifics.
Resolution: 1920x1080
First time Setup
The first thing you want to do as a general rule of thumb whenever installing any UI Compilation is to take your old "Interface", "WTF", and "Fonts" (if applicable) folders and place them into a parent directory with a name like "Old UI dd/mm/yyyy" so that you can go back to it if you dislike what you install, or are having problems with it.
When you decompress the three folders found inside the zip file, you will want to place all of them in your World of Warcraft directory. When you've finished that, go into the WTF folder and do the following:
Change SERVERNAME to your server name
Change MYACCOUNT to your account name (not your battle.net account name)
Change MYCHARACTER to your character name (this is all case-specific)
In Game Setup
When you enter ingame for the first time with all the addons running, it will look nothing like the screenshots I have shown here. You'll need to enter the following commands, step by step, and then reload your UI when you're done.
That's it pals, and that's all! Thanks a lot for all of your support of late and I hope you enjoy the UI. Any specific UI questions can be asked here, rather than on our forums if you don't mind. I'd like to keep it localized and I can better help you here if this is where you direct your questions.
Updates
v1.5.1
- Fixed a goofball error on my move, thanks Wowinterface team for catching it!
v1.5.0
- Updated to work with all mods as of January 15th, 2010.
- Updated to a 1920x1080 resolution.
- Changed some addon profiles, how somethings interact with others and updated the rotation in CLCRet.
- Left it as close to 'bare bones' as can be. Ie. took out channels, out of date module profiles, some macros, etc.
v1.1.1
- Updated to work in Patch 3.3.0
v1.1.0
- Removed private channels and other shinanigans
- Deleted some Macro's, and left others you might enjoy if you play a Paladin.
****
Addons can mostly be updated using the Curse Client, and were last updated in the *.zip file on 1/15/2010.
All dates are written in the Canuckistanian (Canadian) way.
Archived Versions - Athrynn's UI (Paladin) - A Variation on Damia's
I downloaded this and followed instructions, but there are no profiles to load except my own characters'.
I get this error thingy when I log in that might have something to do with it:
Message: Interface\AddOns\SharedMedia\MyMedia.lua:1: Cannot find a library instance of SharedMedia-1.0.
Time: 02/14/10 15:37:15

I'm not too good with computers so some help would be very nice!
I got a new computer and did away with ye olde 1680x1050 setup.
If you still want that one, just download the archived UI - but be sure that the first thing you do is *update all the addons*. I can't stress that enough.
The archieved UI is 1680x1050, the newer one is respaced and the same - just at the 1920x1080 format.
Originally posted by Fishmoose345 ...and of course now it decides to work. Not sure what I was doing wrong but its fixed. Thanks for uploading this awesome UI.
My pleasure, I'm glad it started working for you .
p.s. the ACCOUTNAME and SERVERNAME are case sensitives, and spaces are allowed. The character name, however, is not (I don't think) - but it's always safe to just type your name the way it appears in your character selection screen. Ie. for me, it'd be Athryn.
I'm trying to load your profile for each addon, but all I get is default, or nothing at all to copy from.
These were the steps I took to install your UI (to see if I went wrong somewhere):
1. Moved old Interface and WTF folders outside my WoW directory
2. Unzipped your Interface, WTF, and Fonts folders to my WoW directory.
3. Went into WTF folder, double clicked the first Account (was that the one I'm suposed to change?), changed MYACCOUNT to my account name (Is it case-sensitive?), changed SERVERNAME to my server name (once again, is it case sensitive and do I put a space or not?), then changed MYCHARACTER to Fishmoose.
4. Updated addons through CurseClient.
Insure you changed the folders in your WTF directory to your account name, server name, and character name.
If you've done that properly, what addon are you trying to load my profile for?
Good luck!

The addon package is now updated to include the latest addons as of 01/21/2010, supports the 1920x1080 Resolution now - and a few other minor alterations.
Originally posted by bjrickert I can't figure out how to get rid of the two icons, Crusader Strike and Judgement, on my screen. I'm also getting a shared media error with all addons updated. Other than that...very clean UI am loving it so far.

That crusader strike & judge pic are Ret clrc, just uninstall or disable it.
@anyone, Any one know how to move the anchor for the roll window.

Don't update ClassColors to version 3.3.0.22. It breaks Satrina Buff Frames!!!
I had to update every single addon 1 by 1 to figure that out. SBF disappeared when I updated ClassColors. Reinstalled previous version and bam! SBF worked again.
