Guild plugin (same as Friend)
stText Folks
What is this

stText_Folks is an optional plugin for stText.
It adds a Guild and a Friend plugin with a tooltip to see which friend are online and some informations about them.

And that's all

Issues
  • Guild text not always updating on login
  Change Log - stText Folks

Updated to have all the options provided by the core (i.e size and outline)

Open Texts.lua from stTect_Folks and there are the settings at the top of the file

To change things like font size and what not here do I just add the two new things to the settings lua for the main addon or is there some other trick to it?

Blizzard patches often do that but we can't really prevent it. That's odd but it happens sometimes and we don't understand why. Maybe it has to do with the softwares installed on your computer.
The best thing to do I think is to see that problem with Blizzard on their official forums.

That's nothing. Try to disable all your addons one by one to see what can cause that.

freebtip is disabled, after reloggin in wow it has crashed again. did not go over stt folks only logged in in dalaran. i also disable stt folks an the erroe is still ther so i dont know what it is. sry for your time.

Yes the characters in the friends if they are special can cause some errors but I don't know in which way. As the error indicate the field name has an error but doesn't precise what's the problem.

EDIT:

FreebTip disable, after i logged in an error ingame is shown:


....Interface\Addons\stText_Folks\Texts.lua.125: attempt to concatenate field 'name'(a nil value)

but no wow error, would this help maybe. will tryin to get the same situation this eveneing to see if it will happens again.
