This is a layout for oUF by Haste.

**** NOTE: This layout is only compatible with oUF 1.3.28 and below. It has not been updated to work with oUF 1.4. It is fully functioning with the older oUF framework though ****

Layout includes:
Player: Auras, castbar+latency safezone, and resting/combat /raid/leader icons
Target: Auras, castbar, and resting/combat /raid/leader icons
Player Pet
Focus: raid/leader icons
Focus Target: raid/leader icons
Target of Target: raid/leader icons
Party Frames: raid/leader icons
Raid Frames: raid/leader icons

Plugins Supported:
oUF_CombatFeedback
oUF_DebuffHighlights
oUF_HealComm *warning, this acts funky for player and target because of the vertical status bar*
oUF_ReadyCheck
Haste's Moveable Frames ... tested and functioning with this layout. It does however mess with the anchoring of the Pet/Focus/FocusTarget/ToT so you will have to move those seperately.


This layout will not include experience bar or castbars for any unit other than player and target.


**Note: COMBO POINTS HAVE RETURNED to oUF_Geared as of v2.0. **

The layout.lua is commented you can move the frames by editing the positioning there (this will keep the anchoring accurate) or use oUF MovableFrames by Haste.

**I have no shaman to test out this layout. I can work on support for oUF_Totem if it is requested. It would be positioned roughly the same place runes are for dks now.

This layout was inspired by a friend of mine who shared my interest in WoW and my addiction to addons. On Thanksgiving of 2009, he passed away. This layout is dedicated to him and all his patience in testing it and looking at screenshots. He kept bugging me to post it on here so I decided to finally give him his wish.

Notice in the screenshot >>HERE<< the unit frames are at the bottom of the screen. Thats where they will be for you as well when the layout is loaded.

You have 1 of 3 choices if you'd like to use oUF_Geared and do not like the current positioning:

1. Open up layout.lua in the oUF_Geared folder in a text editor and edit lines 548 and 549 to move the player and target frame elsewhere on your screen

You are changing the red numbers.

2. Grab oUF_MoveableFrames by Haste( the author of oUF )... which will move the frames created by oUF_Geared without opening the layout.lua. WARNING: This will mess with anchoring for focus/pet/focustarget/targettarget because I was lazy and didn't parent them

3. Problem: Action bars are covering my unit frames! HELP!
Solution: Easy one that has a big impact on your UI as a whole. Grab an action bar addon... Recommend Dominos or Bartender. And rearrange your bars a bit. You'll be able to customize the look/set up/and size of your bars with one of these addons and shouldn't have to mess with oUF_Geared positioning.

2.0 again
Fixed border that was going on behind DK runes :)

Version 2.0 Release
Flat Texture on all Status Bars.
Castbar Time is BACK! (yeah not sure at what point I deleted this)
Fixed background for Target HP so it matches the Player HP background.
Polished up the frames.
Examples...
Small border added.
Raid frames are a little taller.
Mysterious Floating Leader Icon from Focus Frame is fixed.
Target of Target will now have a name!
Some spacing issues adjusted.
Hunter Pet color should be um more right :)
Target Name wont be longer than the frame anymore.


3/26/2010:
Fix the castbar starting half full bug.

3/25/2010:
Size change a bit for main frames.
Texture change for all status bars.
Few tweaks here and there. (buffs/debuffs adjusted.)
Nothing major but still suggest update to fix the status bar texture bug that was happening.

Changelog 1/3/10 :
Created Background for few things... namely player and target frames.
Sorry rogues... no more combo points on the layout.

Previous Changes:
Switched layout from runebar to oUF runes. No longer need additional module for this

Wow okay, first can you resize the linked pic, so the frame isn't so large should anyone else need to add a comment.

Second. Apologies, this layout has not been updated to function with oUF 1.4 or higher. I'm currently working on a new one. So if you would like to use this layout, my suggestion is grab the last archived oUF before version 1.4.

I'll make note of this on the main page. Soon as I have time to finish the layout, this one will be archived and the newer layout will take its place and function with oUF version 1.4+.

Yes the unit frames .... well did not show up like the set up of ur Player and target frames

What part? There are alot of different parts of my UI. Do you mean just the unit frames? If so it will be default that layout when you drop it into your addon folder and load into game.

oUF_Geared is not a full UI. Its simply a unit frame layout for the oUF base. You have oUF and oUF_Geared installed correctly. To rework the rest of the UI to fit around the unit frames you will need other addons.

To start I might suggest you change your bars, I suggest something along the lines of Dominos (which I use) or Bartender4. That will set up bars you can customize to where you want them showing what you want. This is the biggest inpact for the least amount of work.


And yeah my personal UI is tailored for a hunter... which is why I took the screenshot on my main If you'd like more info on what other addons I use for the UI aside from the oUF_Geared feel free to message me.

Original action bars still there?

Hey, love the looks of your layout, it has everything I need to raid on my hunter and it's lightweight enough not to bog my system down. One problem: the original wow action bars are still there? I'm brand new to oUF so I know nothing about the coding and Lua modification, however I have followed all instructions I could find and couldn't fix this. I recently had to reinstall WoW, which means my cache, WTF, etc have been completely wiped clean. I logged with only oUF core and your layout enabled and still the default Blizzard action bars are there. The only changes actually implicated by the Geared layout are my player frames and the chat box position and font. Sooo...how do I fix this?



(chatbox was deleted cause some raunchy things were going on in gchat)

Okay its not just me, the castbar is starting halfway thru its cast. Maybe my ouf is outta date now >.< whatever I'll figure it out, again not game breaking just a bit odd.
