I hate to say it, but with the removal of spell ranks in Cata, I think this addon has seen the last of its days.

This is a bit of a grey area in some respects, but I would like to put forth the suggestion that the warning for Cure Poison being superceded by Abolish Poison be taken off the list. While the latter may be seen as 'superior' to the former, it is not a complete replacement for the former.

In the case of a single poison, they are equivalent. If one is expecting poison to be applied one can preempt it with Abolish Poison. However, In cases where there are multiple poisons/stacks of poisons that need to be removed off a given target, the druid would cast Abolish Poison so that that the poison removal tick attempt would happen every 3 seconds, and cast Cure Poison between those ticks (if another spell doesn't have priority of course), since 3 seconds is a long time to wait for the next poison removal attempt to happen.

It may be true that a druid could have learned Abolish Poison and neglected to replace Cure Poison on their action bars with it. But both spells have their legitimate uses, and quite frankly, a druid really should have both available and not just rely on Abolish. (Of course the other scenerio which is seen quite often... is a druid that never bothered to do the questline that gives the Cure Poison ability since it's not a trainer-given skill).

Only problem with that is that Mangle is a talent whereas Claw is a base spell.
What if a Balance or Resto druid switched to Cat for a bit for some reason? Say because a mob is immune to magic or to help finish off something.

Lol @ bolded part, so you want to be gimp? Just deal with it, after the run is over you can make sure you've got your ranks bought and put on your alt - specs bar, and walaa, no more spam.

Having the same issue

Was just the victim of this addon after I leveled in a random on my Druid.

I was immediately besieged by at least 7 PMs in succession letting me know that the spell I was using wasn't the best I could be for my level.

I don't need an addon, being used by another person no less, to tell me how to play my class.

A Spammer addon with the best of intentions is still a spammer addon.

Is there a way to unignore people on Rankwatch? /rankwatch unignore player doesn't work.

Also, I had trouble today with this ignoring someone from a different realm. I put them on ignore (using the /rankwatch ignore XXX-Server) but it kept whispering them regardless.

Think it would be useful to report claw at levels higher than 50 for druids to inform them to use Mangle instead?

This addon is no longer working correctly giving false data saying that Flame Tounge, Wind Fury and Chain Lightning are low along with others but going to the trainers everything is up to date. Also it is no longer sending Whispers or Party messages.

Is it possible to disable the message showing the chat box if the message is also sent to party, whisper or other?

Rejuvenation may be fine.

After further testing, it seems rank 14 rejuvenation was somehow added to Clique's OOC spell set.

That would explain why it was triggering for me, but this is happening to A LOT of druids I've grouped with.

You report that whispering noted Downrank usage doesnt work cross-realm, as of 12th of Jan 2010, it does, i have been manually telling ppl and was informed by them that they are now recieving the auto whispers this addon sends.

So looks like blizz got whisper working for LFD
