CPU Efficient + Decent memory usage + Functionality + Eyecandy

I had for quite a while a revamp of the good old iLive UI I had crafted myself, but for some reason after 3.3 came out my UI started to consume a lot more memory in combat, and I started to notice a decrease in FPS. I started to see addons consume too much memory and CPU cycles, so what I've tried to do is find every possible addon that can replace mines that is lightweight and cpu efficient.

This is my first take on public UI releases so if you have any trouble with anything or want to give me any advice please do so and I will try my best to fix it.

Regarding Installation: instructions are included in the package. It's my first try at delivering public UIs so I hope it works . Note that the original UI was configured at 1920x1200.

UPDATE 1.1:
- Changed castbar addon to AzCastbar.
- Updated dhunterTool to Aspect Watch + Hunter Announcer
- Updated Power Aura Settings
- General Update of all mods to newer versions

Addon's List:
!Swatter: needed something to grab lua errors.
ButtonFacade + ButtonFacade_Entropy: adds a little more style to skill bars.
caelNamePlates: my favourite on its category.
CError: gets rid of the error spam on the top of the screen.
Aspect Watch + Hunter Announcer: hunter mod that helps with a couple of fun things: anounces missdirects, taunts, feign death fails, aspect of the viper stuff...
Dominos: was a big Bartender user but I'm trying this out now, seems a little bit better memory wise.
DXE: hands down the best boss mod in my honest opinion.
EavesDrop: it's the combat log I got on the side. I don't use it too much so I wanted something clean and small.
Faceroller: tells ya the next skill to use on your rotation. Most of the time you won't need it but when you are moving a lot it helps a ton.
FuBar: bar on the top, love it.
GearScoreLite: helps with the pug madness; gives your a quick sum up of the target's Gearscore, without storing anything.
kgPanels: the addon I use to create panels.
MSBT: a scrolling combat text alternative.
Needtoknow: lets me track my trinket so when they proc I get a visual bar on how long they last. Also, I am using it to display the duration of Rapid fire and Call of the wild together with the trinket procs.
OmniCC: to see CDs on stuff.
OneBag3 + OneBank3: this I was not sure about; I see people are using Bagnon o cargBags (which gives you your inventory divided in categories); for me it was just better to go with light addons.
OpenAll: I wanted a simple mail mod to be able to pick everything up; was using Postal but it was using a ton of CPU for no reason at all so I turned it down.
pMinimap: sexymap was too heavy, so I went for this.
PowerAuras: lots of CPU usage, lots of memory, but I just can't replace it with anything else for what it does. It basically gives me auras around my char when I gained X buff or something. Have stuff like Rapid Fire configured on it.
Prat 3.0: the chat mod. I can't live without it. Tried heavily configured chat luas but they simple weren't the same.
AzCastbar with plugins: the cast bar mod. You will notice rather large auto-swing bar, that is to try not too miss them when I move.
Ratings: for gear comparison matters.
ShadowedUF: my unit frames. Was a nice discovery they are easily configured and look pretty nice.
Simplebuffbar: buffs.
Skada: recount and omen were simple too heavy, I am trying with this replacement and so far is working pretty nicely.
SpeedyActions: simple mod, lets you gain a fraction of a second when you use skills by activating them when you press the key instead of when you release it.
TimeToDie: gives me the time it will take for that target to die with the current DPS on it. It's the yellow numbers next to my arget.
TipTac: the mouse-over info. Tried others, this is the one that worked better for me.
XRS: raid info. It's the lines under the "ugly" raid frames I configured with sUF. Still working on that.

Special Thanks:
Just wanted to give a heads up for Dhaern & Fingki, and the rest of the crew at Insomnio guild [Dun Modr, EU].

curious what you plan to do with the raidframes
Well on the boss addon issue, I think DXE is far superior to the other alternatives out there; it's true however that the rythm at which each addon is updated might make you turn to another one at some point in case DXE is not properly updated, but for the time being I believe it's giving me the most important information for bosses in the most interesting way (with arrows for instance).

Now, on the font issue, I play on a rather big screen, which is basicaly why I can afford to reduce the UI so much and use a smaller font. You could however replace the font on the Fonts folder inside your WoW folder in case this is anoying, and change the text font size just by going to the Prat Config (hit Escape and then go to the Addons tab).

The show on mouse over bars I have are basically 3; The one on the middle left of the screen is the Pet's skills, which quite honestly I don't need seeing. A bit under those I have a 2 button-bar in which I have 2 skills, summon and dismiss pet. Since those are actions I quite rarely have to do I can just have them over there. Finally, I have 1 more hidden bar right above my health, in which I have basically food, potions, bandages and such.

The raid frames are right under the minimap with the XRS sumary. Since I play a DPS class I quite frankly don't need to see everyone's HP, I rather just check the XRS sumary which tells you the number of death characters and such. This is a personal choice of course, back in vanilla wow I myself played with the typical CTMod Raid frames, but nowadays I prefer my UI to be as small and to leave me as much space as possible.

cheers man, my personal ui got a bit spammy overtime, so i tried starting fron scratch and then buildup from your pack, things i changed more to my like are, removed faceroller and replaced it with watcher, got back on postal (might be more consuming but like it more) also to the needtoknow list i added greatness and NEC trinket and the troll racial cooldown, i made the debuff barr a bit bigger and made its collor red, put the minimap back to 100% scale, removed fubar petinfo and 1 big-bag\bank addon

this is the first time i play with DXE, im really used to DBM might go back to it but il try DXE for a while,

addons i further added: Align.artpad.bag sort, fubar location\calendar, fiizwidget Feed-O-Matic, linkwrangler,oPie and SpamMeNot, autoprofitX

the thing i dont like from your ui is the fonts used, everything is hard to read, and the UI scale in small, the character screen and stuff is annoying

also there are these mouseover barrs, where you use them for? they are pretty cool but dunno what to do with them

curious what you plan to do with the raidframes

dHunterTool

Seems that dHunterTool has been discontinued; it's author has broken it down into separate addons, so if you don't mind doing this correction manually, here are the links to download them. Just erase the dHunterTool folder and add this ones:
- HunterAnnouncer: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Announcer.html
- AspectWatch: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...pectWatch.html
- NoDaze: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...77-NoDaze.html

I will try to get this fix added in the next update. Waiting on some more tips and recomendations since I feel there will be more stuff to fix :P
