There seems to be a bug with this addon. Whenever I disable friendly nameplates the turn back on the moment I enter combat. If I disable them in combat they turn on again when I reenter combat. Using the latest version. Any solution?

ya so seriously wats da deal??? it works great by the way.... just dont DL it thru curse client and dl the beta and its awesome, except for this one minor perfectionist detail and just like the pirate said who attached the ships wheel to his belt buckle..."it drives me nuts"
In order for friendly class to be determined you must have access to the GUID of a player. The only way to achieve this is to either:

A. Have them in your party or raid.
B. Recently moused over them.

You can cache players names that you've recently moused over or been in party with however caching is not permanently saved information and is lost between sessions and zoning.

My theme has completely separate options from Tidy Plates 'hub' functions.

Set your themes to Threat Plates for both spec's and click on the 'wrench' next to the them select to get to the options.

From there you'll see a 'Threat System' tab at the top. Under this tab you'll see various options regarding how the nameplates work under different 'spec settings' ie, tanking or dps/healing.

As for additional texts for guild, vender types etc those are currently not implemented yet.
Actually I played around more with the regular Tidy Plates and it doesn't show NPC roles either, such as "<Tailoring Trainer>" or "<General Goods>". If in the future you add that feature, and a feature for hiding friendly health bars out of combat, I will be all over Threat Plates. For now I spose it's back to that memory hog DocsNameplates (or until I can mess around with the code myself).
You can easily disable friendly healthbars with the default 'shift v' or simply hiding them in the 'General Settings' tab.

Copying and pasting the settings will save the name value as well. Just make sure you change the name or the two will be indistinguishable.

Question Tanked Color?

Is there any way to make the whole bar change color (like regular Tidy Plates turns the health bar blue) when a mob is being tanked by another tank? If not it would be something I highly suggest adding.

Other than that keep up the great work!

Hey, I'm using the latest version and it's kind of annoying that the enemy class icons don't cache like the friend's ones does (if you enable the option).

I have to mouse over the enemy everytime for the class icon to stay there, if I switch targets only the current target has the class icon displayed and all surrounding ones doesn't.

Am I doing anything wrong? Missing any option? It didn't work like that in the past and I could pretty much have all the enemy class icons appearing on screen in an alterac valley e.g.

PS: The behavior above is only shown when enemy class colors is DISABLED, if I Enable it, it stays the right way (caching the classes).

I'd love to be able to have this without enemy class colors turned on, any idea on where to fix the code to that?

Custom name plates isn't working for Hideous Amalgamation. It appears as an invisible nameplate. This worked fine on the PTR when I tested it.

Using Tidyplates 6.4.9 R373
Threatplates 5.3

Under the custom nameplate I have
Hideous Amalgamation as the name.
Then everything is checked off. Also I tried unchecking alpha and scale. But then the custom nameplate didn't recolor that mobs nameplate.

Debuff widget

The placement options X, Y doesn't work. There's very few options to customized. I can't change the size of the icons, the size of the number in the icon, etc.

Also can this widget be expanded to show buffs as well that the target placed on them self?

Ok got this working, not sure what I was doing wrong before. But would like to have a way to show buffs based on a white list blacklist.

Tank widget

Hi
I've never managed to make the tanked widget work correctly.
When having 2 tanks in a raid, I mark both tanks as tank role and/or main-tank and it has no effect.
Targets aggroed on the other tank still show as lost aggro targets with no widget displayed.
I have no other widgets enabled.
Note I have never managed to get this feature to work throughout all versions of tidyplates and threatplates since it was introduced.
It would be a very useful feature if it worked.
Has anyone else had this work?
Thanks
