[Warlock Target Dummy]

Revision Update: r12
[change log]This is a Revision update for RealUI 7.1.
If you are on a previous version of RealUI, such as 7.0 or 6.12, then a Clean Install will be required. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.
Upgrade Instructions:
- Copy the RealUI 71 r12\Interface folder from the download to your World of Warcraft folder.
Make sure to overwrite all existing files and folders.
If you wish to update only those AddOns changed in the latest revision, please see the Change Log for a list of which individual AddOns were changed.
Installation
RealUI's installation is very simple and fully automated.
There will only be one folder to rename, then RealUI will handle the rest for you.
Please read the Installation document included in the download.
Troubleshooting:If your installation didn't work, or some items are out of place after installing, please scroll down to the very bottom of this page for a list of common installation problems, and their solutions.
Quick Installation Procedure: (won't work for everyone)
- Delete/backup your current WTF and Interface folders
- Copy in RealUI's WTF and Interface folders
- Rename the WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME folder
Done!

Fonts and Languages
If you're using a Russian/Chinese/Korean client, then you will need to replace some font files found in RealUI.
The font files are called:
- pixel_lr_small.ttf
- pixel_lr_large.ttf
- pixel_hr_small.ttf
- pixel_hr_large.ttf
- standard.ttf
Installation Troubleshooting
After installing RealUI, everything should look like it does in the screenshots.
If a lot of things appear out of place, then what has likely happened is the WTF folder either wasn't installed correctly or is corrupted.
Most likely causes of WTF folder issues are:
- RealUI was installed with WoW still running
- World of Warcraft is installed under Program Files or a User folder
- The ACCOUNTNAME folder was named incorrectly
- The WTF folder is set to Read-only
Problem 1: WoW was still running
- Exit WoW.
- Delete the WTF and Interface folders
- Re-install RealUI
Problem 2: WoW located under Program Files or a Users folder
- Exit WoW
- Move your World of Warcraft folder straight to the root directory (C:\, D:\, etc)
- Delete the WTF and Interface folders
- Re-install RealUI
Problem 3: Incorrect Account Name
It's possible you mispelled your Account Name, or that it's different from what you think it is. Easiest solution is to look under your WTF\Account\ folder and see if an additional folder has been created. If there has, it will be named with your correct account name.
- Exit WoW
- Delete the correctly named folder
- Rename your original AccountName folder to the correct name
Problem 4: WTF folder is Read-Only
- Stay logged in to WoW
- Find your WTF folder
- Right click on it, and select Properties
- Make sure Read-only is un-ticked
- Click Okay
- Back in WoW, type /realui, select RealUI Core, and click Re-initialize Character.

Copy lines 1891-1915 (that's the SC2 friends block) and paste at line 1890. Replace "SC2" with "D3". I know there's a more elegant solution but this works for me. ![]()

Hey Nib,
Any chance of doing a quick fix to the addon that shows your friends online to include the ones playing D3? Thanks. |

first of all thank you for this UI, I like it
My question is this, as I can move the oUF_RealUI uniframes? thanks |

I absolutely adore this UI. It's my favorite and I've never used one UI consistently but I have used this one for a long time. I appreciate you, Nib, and thank you for all the work you've put into this.
I do have one question. Would it be possible to change the Game text to my friend's Note whenever I hover over the friends section on the infoline? I don't much care for what Game they're on as I do the note. Thank you for your time! |

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Nameplate colors
File is: Interface\AddOns\nibRealUI\Modules\Nameplates.lua
Line for coloring: 123 It bases it's colors off of Blizzard's coloring of the nameplates, so I suspect a WoW bug/issue/strangeness. |

Re: Re: Re: Re: Nameplate colors
Here's the problem on the 62 h paladin again: http://i.imgur.com/CAxNa.jpg I log out, go to my 85 hunter, and it works fine: http://i.imgur.com/oePiL.jpg I looked through all of the nib stuff for an option that would affect it, and I can't find anything that would affect nameplate color. Looked through some of the LUAs and can't find a thing. It'd even help to know what addon controls the nameplate color so if even if I have to go through the LUA line-by-line, I could eventually find it. But as it is, there's no discernible way to figure out what addon is causing this problem. BTW: Blizzard raid frames show up, it's a bug, whatever.... a simple reloadui fixes it. But the nameplate issue is gamebreaking for me.

Re: Re: Nameplate colors
Basically, they need to look like this: http://imgur.com/hXJrD.jpg. Notice it's a paladin, so the nameplate is pink. If it were a rogue, yellow; mage, blue, etc. etc. etc. Something got messed up on this paladin, re-initializing doesn't fix it, and it needs to be colored by class.

Nameplate colors
Any idea what's going on here? http://i.imgur.com/Q8krG.jpg
Nameplate colors are all red, they aren't class-colored. I've looked through the options can't find anything that would affect this. It also works on various level 85 toons, but not this up-and-coming paladin. Apologies if this has been answered before, WoWInterface's website is awful. |
