wernhard's Bosstalk

I've been looking into this in future updates and I look at the differences between Endeavor's and Bigur's updates and they look similar... So maybe someone in between added or deleted something that they shouldn't. So I'm not 100% positive on that, but I can tell you, if we use Endeavor's work then I think the problem will solve itself...

I keep getting this error whenever i right click on the menu to get the drop down menu. It's really annoying because i can only get random quotes. Anybody got any solutions?

I noticed, I also found out about Bigbur also making a version of BossTalk which has fixed some of the issues with Wern's also saw Wern comment on Bigbur's so I think he went there *shrug* Who knows

I haven't added any quotes yet but I have updated it twice since been posting on here with other general fixes/lib updates. But wern hasn't been posting them and i can't post them myself :\

If either of you are still around and working on this addon, I have a few suggestions...
High Overlord Saurfang - You missed an entire quote of his, IC_Saurfang_Intro02 - "Then we must save him. If we rescue Bolvar Fordragon we may quell the unrest between the Alliance and the Horde."
Highlord Tirion Foldring - One of the quotes is missing a few words from it and if possible, would like his quotes from the LK fight in as well. "Arthas! I swore that I would see you dead and the scourge dismantled! I'm going to finish what I started at Light's Hope!"
Captain's Brandon, Grondel, Rupert, Arnath and Sister Svalna - If possible, could you add these onto the list of quotes?
Garfrost - The quote you couldn't understand was, "Ugh...Garfrost hope...giant underpants clean...save boss great shame...for later..."
There are just a few spelling errors to some quotes but I don't recall which ones, I went into the library and added the Saurfang quote, and fixed the other 2 for my personal use, but due to the other 5 not being on the boss list, I was unable to add them as well on the count of me not knowing how to do all of that, please back as soon as possible. Much appreciated! ^_^

I've been looking for an updated BossTalk for awhile now that actually works, came across several others before I came across this one, the only one that seems to work is LoS's with Uld and ToC quotes. I tried dling this one and kept getting LUA errors, I decieded to take out my addon folder to start from scratch, all thats in the addon folder atm is the basic WoW stuff and this. Got on, the quote database is empty and I got this error

Curse has an policy that doesn't allow them to post addons taken over by someone else without the original authors passing original project over to them. To post on curse you'd have to get endeavour to pass the project over to wern or I so we can post new files to it. They won't let you create a new project. Unfortunately endeavour has been mia for quite some time.

wernhard dont mind if i post your addon to curse ? all credits go to you ofc , or maybe you can upload it to curse ? would love to have your addon on curse

I re-added ace2 dependencies. Bosstalk stopped using ace2 ages ago but i forgot the darn dewdrop lib was still written for ace2 only :\ if this fixes your error i'll have wern upload it as 4.32

Edit: I have got "Load out of date addons" enabled.

one of the libs, dewdrop 2.0 specificly, will not load without "load out of date addons" patch turns that setting off and causes addon to stop working, with load out of date addons it should work perfectly again. if you are still getting an error can you post it here so i can identify cause?

No, it's not that, it comes up with another LUA error this time its every time i log in.

Since the new patch just came out, you have to check the 'Load out of Date Addons' button. That fixed mine.

FFS! now it's not working at all, no icon! what do i do?
