Another thing to note, in my Arms spec I use the Battle shout glyph, and in Protection spec the Commanding shout glyph. Both gives 2 minutes more to each shout. Maybe the increased duration mess with the addon and make it thinks is better than the imp aura? Just a thought.
Thanks to you. |

Just to be clear: If you are playing a warrior, in a party with an Imp-loving warlock, the suggestion SHOULD be "battle shout". I'm just describing how the addon could allow commanding shout; either it thinks you ignored the suggestion (through your casts and active auras), or other party members are impacting the decision.
I'll submit this as a potential bug report, and try to reproduce it with a warlock buddy. Thanks for posting, Mazarbul! |

Very well. The thing is, I don't shout until we are going to pull (because I don't want to waste the rage). Maybe because I shouted for a world mob/pvp before entering in the party?

The criteria is pretty extensive, but, shouts are generally prioritized by: last-cast (did I apply this buff since joining the group?) availability (can others provide this buff?) potency (is my buff better than others?) application (is my buff better up-time than others available?) desirability (how many people want this buff?) If you had joined a random heroic, and cast commanding shout upon entering the dungeon...the addon will not tell you that's a bad decision, even if a warlock zones in a few seconds later with an Imp out (or summons the Imp mid-run). I can't remember what happens off the top of my head if an Imp AND a Deathknight are in your party (aka, you don't need to shout); It will probably assume the DK's horn uptime will be better than a pet-based aura...suggest commanding...then stick to last-cast. FYI, disabling the "consistent" option will remove the last-cast part; this means Buff Broker may disagree with the shouts you manually cast, for better or worse You can find this setting from the menu (Esc) -> Interface (button) -> Addons (top right tab) -> Buff Broker (left list). |

Can I ask what is the logic for warrior's shouts? I have seen the addon suggest using Commanding Shout when a warlock has the imp with the blood buff, so it should suggest the Battle Shout.

*Tumbleweeds*
New version coming "soon", should address many performance concerns. If any of you are still using Buff Broker, let me know! Even if you stopped using it...let me know. Comments are the best way to encourage me to continue improving this project. |

Glad it's useful for ya! The "quick" way to make the border fit the whole UI...is to hide everything except the button ![]() In the configuration, check the "Lock" option to hide the title bar. You also can toggle the lock/unlock state from a chat window with this command: /bb lock |

Great, for a beginner like me!
But I have one request: Could you add a option to change the border of the button to fit the whole ui? That would be awesome! Kepp it up! |

I'll investigate windfury vs others. The suggestions WOULD have been odd for the past few weeks, since the mechanism to determine spec/role has been pooched to high hell (and the default values aren't always correct). Rumor has it Blizzard is rolling out a fix this week. I'll still check into this anyway though. |

Most recently on my shaman, with the most recent version of BB, I've seen that it seems to be suggesting Windfury totem in a group that is mostly casters, which seems somewhat odd. Admittedly I'm not usually a shaman so... |

2.2.3 should be just a tweak or two to configuration panel limit-checks, and all the shaman fixes from 2.2.2B; There should be no change to other classes in every day use compared to 2.2.1
I'm planning to tackle memory optimization next, followed by better reporting (likely via a color coded context menu). If any enterprising developers want to kick-start context menu code, I'd be more than willing to show you where to bake it in ![]() |

The Blizzard API changed how totem bars are referenced behind the scenes; The new cataclysm client probably wasn't working with Buff Broker (more like Buff Borker!). That's been fixed in the latest buff broker beta, which I've tested on my 66 resto shaman (v2.1.11B). If you're still playing that alt, I'd love to hear if this is working to your satisfaction! I added a new "consistent" option, which remembers the last spell you "cast" and reminds you to keep it active. Since totems are placed on a "call of something" bar, you can't override buff broker suggestions (yet). I plan to make them work with the "consistent" option in the next patch, ala by monitoring when the totem bar changes, and capturing whatever you manually choose in your totem bar as preferred.

Update: Added enough work-arounds to be consistently functional in 4.0.1. Initial suggestions may not be 100% perfect, but it'll do what you tell it to do
![]() Feature freeze is in effect, expect a release version by Tuesday's maintenance. |

Service Announcement
SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT - This addon will not consistently work with the 4.0.1 patch.
TL;DR, Inspection isn't working. You can reproduce this problem with the defaut UI (no addons loaded). No inspection, no class/spec datas; no datas, no suggestions. This will not work reliably in PUGs until the root cause is identified and resolved. I'm continuing development behind the scenes anyway. |
