LovelyLoot  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.0b.1
by: Seerah [More]

I am currently in the process of updating this addon for MoP now that I have more time.
The main loot window and group loot frames complete.

LovelyLoot
- An addon to make the LootFrame and GroupLootFrames more lovely to look at and work with.

Features:
  • skins the LootFrame and GroupLootFrames' background and border
  • change the statusbar texture for the timer in the GroupLootFrames
  • uses LibSharedMedia
  • streamlines the loot icons by removing the rounded, default border
  • optional support for rActionButtonStyler for loot item icons
  • added 3D model of the target you are looting to the LootFrame (shows quest/loot sparklies if no target)
  • allows the GroupLootFrames to be moved
  • saves location of LootFrame and GroupLootFrames between sessions
  • streamlines GroupLootFrames by rearranging objects in the frame to save vertical space
  • option to hide elite dragon on roll frames

If you happen across any bugs, please list them at my PORTAL (click "Report Bug" under the download button to the right) and NOT IN THE COMMENTS, please.

Notes:
- the UI in the screenshots is my own - it is not released
- AI-Art is installed for most of the screenshots - this is why the X (close/cancel) button looks different

v.2.0b.1
- updated TOC for 5.4
- fixed typo in options panel

v.2.0b
- added support for group loot frames
- added support for loot won & money won frames

v.2.0a
- in the process of updating for MoP
- currently, only the main LootFrame is finished

v.1.1.1
- updated libraries
- bumped TOC Interface number for 4.3
- fixed change in alignment of loot buttons

v.1.1
- added option to hide dragon on elite group loot frame

v.1.0.3
- updated libs
- updated TOC number
- tweaked options layout for bigger window

v.1.0.2
- updated libs

v.1.0.1
- updated libs

v. 1.0 Release
- updated libraries
- bumped TOC number for 4.0.1

v. 1.0 Beta 2
- added checkboxes to lock the LootFrame and GroupLootFrames
- *sometimes* the game will forget their position when logging in with them locked, but it seems to be behaving itself for the most part

LovelyLoot doesn't remove the dragon texture - it never even showed it in the first place. This is a part of the default loot frame. Is it no longer showing? (Note: just to be clear, it would only appear on loot that came from an elite/boss npc.)

Is it possible to add an option to see the dragon on the loot frame again?

I could add an option to change the fonts. In the screenshots, they are changed because I have a Fonts folder in the addon director to override them manually.
This is on live. It is driving me bonkers that I am unable to figure out where the issue lies. If you have any ideas of where to start, please let me know. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!
My account isn't currently active on Live. Have you tried disabling ALL other addons to make certain it's a LovelyLoot issue?

/edit: it almost sounds like you have two loot frame addons running. (or another addon that at least skins the loot frame)

If you have any insight on how to fix this for me, that would be awesome! Thanks for the great addon!

Also, if you know the correct syntax for changing the font for "Items" and for everything else within the loot window that would be spectacular!

An update will be coming! I've just been very busy with organizing a fundraiser and I just got back from a week-long vacation. (Fundraiser happens Oct. 20th, so if I don't get to it before then, you can expect it soon after! )

Yes, I am aware. There was a TON changed with the loot frames, etc. and I'm not finished yet with an uploadable version. (I got 13 other addons uploaded the other day though. )

This has been requested previously, but no, I will not be adding that option. If I remove it, I would need to do more than just hide it to make the roll frame look "right" again. You're free to fiddle with the code in your local copy, though.

And thanks.

Thank you. I realized this after posting my previous comment. I hadn't gotten around to fixing it yet (let alone play period) as I've been busy writing exams and study guides for my students in the evenings.

Thanks, again.
