> Fixed/adjusted combat text font (Scrolling)

v5.2: MANY CHANGES!!!
-------------------------------------
Added/Redesigned
-------------------------------------
> Raid frames are now singular, meaning there will no longer be separate frames for sizes 10/15/20/25/40. In the config menu you will only see one category called "Raid".

> Docks have undergone major changes to how they are built and function.
NOTE 1: Before, docklets and dock features were created in static positions (ie... chat tabs on the left, profession tools and henchmen on the right..etc) and the dock holders were essentially just anchored placeholders with little purpose other than a starting point for child elements. Now every aspect of each docking cluster is dynamic and interchangeable.
NOTE 2: Utilizing the new dock system is restricted to internal code at this time. If you have questions please ask me and I will walk you through them.
NOTE 3: I have added an alt-click menu to each dock icon that allows you to re-order its position in it's current dock.
NOTE 4: All movement changes are now being saved and retained per character.

> Dock alerts (ie.. chat edit box and Laborer "End Mode" button) are attractive now ;)

> Micro Menu bar has been relocated to the upper left corner of the screen, mouse over it to show (can be changed in settings)

> Stats have been changed slightly
NOTE 1: The top stat bar is now anchored to the top center of the screen (was top left)
NOTE 2: The top stat bar is also NAKED by default (ie.. no stats showing/assigned). I felt like having too much on screen for new users was confusing.
NOTE 3: Backgrounds are disabled now by default (can still be changed in settings)
NOTE 4: Changed the default stat assignment for the bottom bar to improve asthetics. (Courtesy of Penguinsane)

> Installer updated. Now when making aura layout selections you will see dummy aura icons and bars to help visualize the changes.

> Slightly re-styled tooltips to make them less intrusive by removing the POW graphic from the bottom of the frame. Seemed like too much at times.

> NEW: Round style for minimaps that use the "rotateMinimap" interface option.

> REMOVED: WorldMap movement alpha settings. Blizzard has a built-in function for this now under your Interface options.

-------------------------------------
Fixes
-------------------------------------
> WorldMap issues with elements becoming unclickable are fixed
> WorldMap tooltip issues are fixed
> Bag slot coloring has been revised. Specialty bag colors will now take priority over rarity of the item.
> Garrison map icon is properly anchored now
> Auto-Quest features are working as they should
> Nameplate issues should be resolved
> In combat messages should no longer cause errors
> Auctionhouse styles revised
> Inventory coin icons are working
> Inventory quest icons/borders are working
> Added dock option to change dock button sizes
> Character stats pane issue fixed
> Raid leader tool bugs fixed (if you even noticed them)
> Skada dock issues fixed

Class bar / Mana bar

Hey there!

I really LOVE your UI. It is the best I've ever had! Thanks a lot so far!

The only problem is that I can't find the option, how to deactivate the "extra" mana bar that appears when casting something e.g. in cat form. In my case it always "overlays" the combo bar, so I can't see how many combo points I have until the mana is full and the mana bar disappears again.

I find this really annoying. Can somebody please tell me where to deactivate that option?

Another thing is the "fist symbol" on the player frame. What does it stand for? And can I deactivate it?

Thanks in advance!

George

The font for "meanwhile" as well as ...location on the minimap is incorrect.

I'm not looking at them side by side at the moment but its safe to assume more is wrong than right (if any) . Nothing was set custom before i attempted the transfer, nor was anything modified after. I havent even gotten i nto adjusting the UI again yet so no worries about resetting anything else. Just want to get the font back to normal.

If a folder exists I can delete to do so, great. Or if i have to do it manually (im sure your ui allows for custom fonts) just let me know what the default one is called and ill dig through and change them all manually (if theres no other way).
The base fonts were changed from classic to current in terms of their assignment, but all the old familiar fonts are still available. Was your default font comic styled or normal (sans serif)? If it was comic then the font you are looking for is "SVUI Classic Font", otherwise try "SVUI Default Font". If I am way off then just let me know and we can go from there.

Damn, I really wish that stupid transfer tool had worked LOL

I really appreciate the praise! FWIW: The SVUI settings from this point forward WILL NEVER CHANGE AGAIN OR RESET.

Again grats on the baby!
thanks so much mung! Its getting super close so im getting about 50/50 nervous/excited lol. S'shame you dont live closer, i'd have you by to help w/ some of this dreadful drywall taping lol.

Aaaaanyways. The font. Im a bit perplexed considering I used hte classic version and never changed the fonts which it came with. After my failure at getting the settings to transfer, i simply removed it and downloaded the curse version.

This si why i cant for the life of me understand why or how all of my characters EXCEPT my main have the proper fonts/same fonts as my main used to. The default fonts that came w/ svui. (i enjoyed and got used to them). I assume they'd be the "classic".

Even more perplexing is the fact that ive went through the install wizard and reset everything on all c haracters and yet my alts all reset to the fonts i want, and my main stays/resets to the fonts i do not. /boggle.

All this ridiculousness has made me overlook the obvious though... I can log in an alt and simply go font by font and compare. I assume for whatever reason my main's fonts are set differently and between the two different characters for god knows why, they also REset differently.

Anyhow, i probably should have tried/thought of that earlier instead of looking for the "easy" fix. To be fair, that still doesnt dial in on the root of the problem but first things first... I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you again for the reply and well wishes and thank you for the amazing UI. Real pity it took me until wod to stumble on to it :P

is their something I can delete inside that specific charactgers settings to ensure the font is reset or something?
I can help you get this fixed. Can you tell me (or show me an example) which font we are dealing with?
Sorry for the delay in reply and thank you for the response. I get tied up with renovations (baby numero uno en route) and guild matters. That being said, it appears to be just about everything. Everywhere their should be SVUI styled fonts, it seems its just plain ole regular font.

As i mentioned ALL alts are showing up properly but my main is not. For example the Font for the word Inventory inside bags is not right, nor is the font for the numbers next to currency amounts.

Thanks again mung, one thing I will say is with the xfer to curse and the changes you made around that time, the ui made a leap from amazing to ...whatever comes after that. A lot of people avoid custom UI's due to inherent issues and bugs and incompatibilities and lack of polish and.. blah blah. Tons of reasons, im sure your familair. With yours, ive ran into none of that. I intend on buckling down on one weekend that im feeling overly masochistic and re customizing it one last time. Then ill likely never use another UI or change a thing for the rest of my days playing wow :P

Ok before i write a book - ill keep an eye out for what you advise. Thanks!

Move my buffs to target debuffs

Hey guys, I just wanted to say I LOVE this UI, i think its the best one I've ever used! That being said I have a question for everyone. So I'm playing a combat rogue. I need my auras and buffs to show on the target frame instead of my player frame. I need my buffs and the target debuffs to show together on my targets frame so I can keep track of my slice and dice, revealing strike, and insights while watching the health and cast bars of my target. Is there a way to move, my buff bars to show on the target frame, so i can keep track of both my buffs and the debuffs I put on the target? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!!

What song would YOU use to put the feel of the UI to music?
Which ones do you like so far? Are they similar to the techno-y of the old one?

I like a lot of this guy's stuff, which has a CC license: https://www.youtube.com/user/Jedborg/videos / https://soundcloud.com/jedborg

I was looking through his music for things that have nice transitions. Specifically...

I am really bad at music suggestions.
Sorry I keep forgetting to reply to this one. I really like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2n-Es5VLpLE so its on the list!

Re: Re: Still the same

My Suggestions would be DELETE or BACK UP(rename) the WTF and Cache folders and start over with nothing but SVUI.

First, you need to disable the addon MoveAnything as it is not compatible or necessary with SVUI. Next you might want to try disabling any other addon that is not SVUI and see if those bars come back. If they do then the issue is that one of those addons is causing a conflict that is preventing SVUI from functioning properly. To find out which one simply log out, enable one more addon (of those you just disabled), log back in and see if the problem occurs again. If it does then disable it, skip it and continue with the remaining addons.

Once you have discovered which addon is having the issue, let me know so I can see if there is anything I can do to prevent it in the future.
