NPCs are not class coloured, never. Hostile players are only class coloured out of a sanctuary (which excludes Dalaran for example). Generally said, they are class coloured in PvP, which also means they have to be flagged for PvP on a PvE server. |

After the patch i cant see the cooldowns above the nameplates, Why? :/ havent changed a thing only updated the addon

Indeed the fail was on my end here. I edited the media path to other textures/fonts and I somehow messed with the "frame.hp:SetPoint('CENTER', frame, 0, -2)" (line 195 in dNameplates.lua) and put a 28 as entry for y... Don't ask me how I managed that without even scrolling down so far (at least I don't remember ^^). But thank you for the fast reply. Now the problem is sorted out, I am one happy user. Click-ablility, isn't changed in any way it therefore should behave just like blizzards default nameplates. Clicking on the plate works for me. You could try to increase the height to make it easier to "target" them. ![]() These plates are basically just a re-skin of the default nameplates with some features added in. So if something behaves strange - like the transparency of the selected nameplate for instance *cough* - it's most likely the default behaviour of blizzards nameplates.

clickability
Hey thank you for the relief of my eyes - finally small/clear/sleek nameplates I like.
One thing bothers me though: Is it intended that I cannot click a nameplate to select a mob? It is annoying because I am often the tank in the group and that handicaps my ability to react to running mobs - fetching it out of other 3d-models in the gameworld is not too great. If they are clickable these nameplates are perfect (yes, really). Oh and forget everything I wrote if they are intended to be clickable - then I got an error of some sort, though I get no error message. ![]() |

No idea if caelNameplates are updated for 4.1, but I bet there's at least a fix available somewhere. You have to compare r9 with it. r10+ is different.
In particular the "frame:GetRegions()" part is what you should be looking for.
