At this point the latter feature is rather lean; if more utility is requested, it will be explored.
SolaceGlyphs now also includes SolaceGlyphsKnown, which injects a line at the end of a glyph item tooltip indicating which, if any, of your characters on this server know the glyph (e.g. Known: Hallithon). If you have multiple characters of the same class who know the same glyph, it will list all of them. This does not differentiate between Glyph of Death Coil and Glyph of Death Coil, so you will have to remember the names of your Warlocks and Death Knights separately.

Could an option be implemented that would, in the inscription window (instead of saying (type)), show if a character on server knows it already? Maybe by a mark of some sort or their name. I think for others like myself it's convenient for checking at a glance if we should/can make a certain glyph for alts.

I'll look in to what would be involved in hooking in to Skillet, but it might take a little while. To the poster before, I can break SolaceGlyphsKnown out pretty easily. I'll separate the folders in a new revision so you can disable one side or the other. |

Why Blizzard didn't see the need for this i will never know! Some add-on authors should get a free month of play ( at the very least ) for taking the time to create great ( common sense sees the need for it ) add-ons! Thank you!

I like the idea, Dalarian. I am working on it, trying to figure the "right" way of adding info to the tooltip. When I figure it out, I may add the feature to this mod, or make it a standalone.

How about keeping track of Glyphs known on the current toon and all alts, and showing that info in the tooltip when you mouse over a glyph. Whether from the Inscriptor's profession window or while browsing the AH.
