The way around this that I see is to put in a check for the combat events, check to see if the player is in combat, and if they are put the function on a timer. Have it check every 1 second recurring if they're still in combat when it should have fired, and when they're out of combat fire it and then stop the timer. This avoids the taint problem because it forces the addon to wait until its absolutely certain that the player is out of combat before trying to set macro info. Attempting to set macro info in combat causes taint. I tested this on the test dummies at Darnassus, it's reproducible. Sorry about all the bug reports, but I really, really like this mod. It's the only mount mod that does exactly what I want. So I figured I'd keep you appraised. I'd offer patches myself, but my coding days are mostly over, especially with stuff this complex. x_x But I hope that this information will prove useful! Standing still and pressing my mount key did nothing, moving and pressing it shifted me to my druid travel form. It was showing up in the menu, I could select it as a mount, but for whatever reason it just wasn't triggering. However, after doing the following... /script YayMountsDB = nil /reload It worked like a charm! I'm not sure what happened there, but I though you (the mod author) would like to know. And others may benefit from this knowledge too. So... there you go.
