Good morning and sorry for a dumb question.
With regular questhelper i had a "?" sign at questlog border. While pointing at that sign questlog could be dragged and moved onto a different spot. With QuesthelperLight i don't see that and therefore can't move quest log.. it's stuck at the right middle part of my screen.. i used to drag it to top left. What's the way to drag quest log to a different spot? Thanks ![]() |

Suggestion for suggested route optimization
Hello,
First of all, thanks for making this addon, it's exactly what I needed (questhelper without a gigantic database) and certainly helps deal with the "loss" of the original questhelper. I just wanted to suggest something: Problem: Unlike the original QH, QHL does not take into account quest turnin locations for quests in progress while calculating the best path. (like suggesting that you do several quests first then turn them in together because the turnin guys are in the same area). I assume this is because QHL can not get information regarding quest turnin locations from the bliz questtracker, until the quests are actually complete. A possible workaround for this that I can suggest is: - Remember who you got the quest from, and assume the turnin location is the same. Calculate paths accordingly. - When quest is complete, update turnin location and recalculate paths. - (Delete assumed turnin location when quest is complete, to stay lightweight) Granted, not all quests are turned in to the person you get it from, but this change would probably make the suggested route very close to optimal. Well, just a suggestion. |

But it does not give you a right to talk to me like that. You are disrespecting me. I do not appreciate it. But anyway, I've moved on to some other quest tracking mod, because this one never really does work for me, I can't track any quests with it. I think the reason you got hostile, was because of my capitalized text and mis understood it. It wasn't intended to complain in a ridiculous loud way, it was to make something CLEAR. End of story. Of course it's Software, and no I am not treating as such. I am treating it as something I've tried, and am having problems with it. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no need to compare. This is text, you can't just assume that I'm approaching this in the wrong way based on how the text is typed here. That would be stupid actually. Ask me next time, instead of throwing your words out at me like that.

I have also noticed a few quests that either won't track or show the wrong locations. A lot of it has to do with the new world format, and the last version of Astrolabe I am using. |

Look, Rammoth, you obviously care a lot about this addon or you wouldn't be posting about it so belligerently. You just might want to tone it down a notch.
This is software; you're treating it like a bad breakup or something. I HAVE noticed that QHL seems to refuse to track a few specific quests even with all the filters turned off. The most recent one was http://www.wowhead.com/quest=13906/they-grow-up-so-fast "Manually tracking" quests shouldn't even be necessary, because QHL should really track ALL quests unless they're excluded by its filters. With all filters off, every quest should appear on the tracker, and that doesn't seem to be the current behavior for some reason. Hopefully wakezero will be able to look into this and improve it after the holidays ![]() Finally got around to sending a donation, btw. Happy new year! :3

It's something you would HAVE to do, for this to be used enough. Most users are going to experience what I have experienced, it's inevitable.

In the future there may be an added option to not remove manually tracked quests if enough donors request the feature. |

With this option unchecked, I can even Filter other stuff. With this option checked, all the quests are "untracked" immediately... EDIT: This way, the arrow is not visible or behaving very weird. Everything seems to be a bit disoriented now :-) I have tried to reset to defaults and it did not help. Probably something changed in WoW internally since this addon is using internal something :-) Anybody able to help pls?

There is still a problem with the quest tracker untracking things no matter what I do to the filters. It worked for a while, but now, even if I turn off all filtering, it still untracks it instantly, and I just got the quest, and it's for the level that I am. So I don't know what the heck is wrong. Until this problem is fixed, I will not use it... I'm sorry... because I can't track my quests while using it. It's annoying.
