Leatrix Plus contains lots of quality of life improvements for World of Warcraft. It's modular, fast and efficient. All options are saved account-wide so you can set it and forget it.
Here's some of the things that it does.
World Map - Reveal unexplored areas, rescale the map, show coordinates, change position and opacity, click quest objectives to see quest details.
Minimap - Rescale the minimap, show or hide various features, use the mousewheel to zoom.
Tooltip - Add color coding to tooltip elements (such as class color and level color), show target of target, anchor tooltip to the cursor (with offsets), rescale the tooltip, hide the tooltip during combat.
Viewport - Create a viewport consisting of either simple borders or a resized game world.
Frames - Move and rescale a selection of frames, hide certain Blizzard frames (such as the stance bar).
Automation - Lots of automation for party management, blocking, death, summon, repair (with guild funds option), sell grey items, accept and turn-in quests.
Accessibility - Change quest detail text size, mail text size and rescale many frames to make them easier to see.
Convenience - Add controls to the character sheet (such as durability report, volume control and show helm/cloak).
UI Enhancements - Add useful controls to the auction house, prevent bags from opening/closing automatically, save the achievement privacy setting account-wide, automatically toggle nameplates.
Game Enhancements - Remove raid restrictions, save dungeon roles with your talent spec, show coordinates in a movable frame, show customised spell cooldown icons.
Spam - Block error frame spam (with filter), block zone text, block emote sounds while resting.
Chat - Hide chat buttons, use class coloring, show the editbox at the top of the chat frame, disable chat fade, use arrow keys in chat, disable sticky chat.
Graphics - Hide various effects such as the death effect and screen glow, add a rare or elite chain to the player frame.
... and lots more!
You can access the options panel by clicking the Leatrix Plus minimap button or by entering /ltp. Read the option tooltips carefully, they are designed to help you.
There are no known issues. If you encounter an issue, please send me a message (include as much detail as possible).
5.4.09 - 29th November 2013
Added the phased Lost Isles map to the 'World map customisation' option ('Interface' menu).
The 'Color Backdrops' option for 'Tooltip customisation' is now disabled by default.
5.4.08 - 9th November 2013
If enabled, the volume control slider on the character sheet now goes up to 20 (once again).
Textured icons (such as currency) will no longer be shown in chat.
5.4.07 - 1st November 2013
The 'Party from friends', 'Dungeon groups', 'Block duels', 'Block pet battle duels' and 'Block party invites' options ('Automation' menu) will no longer compare realm names when identifying friends. This should resolve the issue that some were having whereby friends were not being identified due to game locale differences.
5.4.06 - 29th October 2013
Implemented more changes to the options panel layout to make it more intuitive and less confusing for new users. Note that as a result of these changes, you must restart Wow fully after installing this update.
The 'Home' and 'Settings' buttons have been removed and their functions are now part of the menu.
The 'Wipe' button has been removed. Instead, a new command is available, '/ltp reset wipe' which will wipe all settings (there is no confirmation).
Option configuration panels (located on the right side of the screen) will now inherit the main options panel alpha setting (adjustable in the 'Settings' menu).
5.4.05 - 26th October 2013
Option configuration buttons are now brighter and more obvious to the user.
Added some startup integrity checks to ensure that the settings in the saved variables file are valid. Any setting with an invalid value will be reset to its default value.
The options panel background has been changed.
5.4.04 - 21st October 2013
Added a new option to block pet battle duels ('Automation' menu). Thanks to Litesung for the suggestion.
Added the phased Theramore map to the map reveal feature.
5.4.03 - 23rd September 2013
Fixed a minor issue with 'Move editbox to top' ('Chat' menu) which sometimes caused some chat frames to be temporarily offset slightly after logging in.
If 'Show durability status' is enabled ('Interface' menu), your overall durability percentage will now be shown in chat after you die. Previously, it was only shown after you returned to life.
5.4.02 - 18th September 2013
You can now change the keyword used by the 'Invite from whispers' option ('Automation' menu) using a new configuration button next to the option.
The default keyword for the 'Invite from whispers' option ('Automation' menu) has been changed to 'plus' (previously, it was 'plusinvite').
Slider controls used throughout the addon will now use the correct value step when dragging them. Use the mousewheel on them for more precise movement.
Fixed a situational taint issue which occurred when changing Blizzard's timestamp option.
5.4.01 - 16th September 2013
If 'Frame customisation' is enabled ('Misc' menu), the player frame can now be dragged off the top and left edges of the screen. The target frame can be dragged off the top edge.
If 'Hide chat buttons' is enabled ('Chat' menu), the conversation button will now be hidden when you are chatting to battle.net friends.
If 'Unclamp chat frame' is enabled ('Chat' menu), chat frames can no longer be dragged off the edge of the screen (they can still be dragged to the very edge though).
The 'Party from friends' and 'Party from guild' options ('Automation' menu) will now ignore incoming party requests if you are queuing for a flexible raid (in addition to dungeons, scenarios and raid finder).
If 'Tooltip customisation' is enabled ('Misc' menu), you can now hold down CTRL, SHIFT and ALT to bypass customisation of tooltip elements starting from the next tooltip that's shown. This could be useful if you wish to compare a default tooltip to a modified one.
The option to show honourable kills in a tooltip has been removed. Instead, a new command is available, '/ltp char hk', which will print the number of lifetime honourable kills in chat.
Due to intermittent issues with Blizzard's chat style mechanism (which affects all addons), the chat style will now be set to 'Classic' (in Blizzard's 'Social' menu) for all users and you will not be able to change it.
5.4.00 - 8th September 2013
This is a preliminary update for World of Warcraft patch 5.4. If your realm doesn't have patch 5.4 yet, you can still install this update but you need to enable the 'Load out of date addons' option in Blizzard's addon manager.
If tooltip customisation is enabled ('Misc' menu), you can now choose whether or not to display guild ranks for members of your own guild. This option was added because guild ranks aren't shown in the default tooltip.
If tooltip customisation is enabled ('Misc' menu), battle pet tooltips from links clicked in chat will now use your selected tooltip scale.
If you encounter any issues with this preliminary update, please send me a message. Another update may (or may not) be released once World of Warcraft patch 5.4 goes live.
5.3.10 - 29th August 2013
If world map customisation is enabled ('Interface' menu), the world map will now show over the top of other frames within the same strata when it is opened or clicked. Thanks to foot1647 for suggesting this feature.
If world map customisation is enabled ('Interface' menu), the option to show quest details is now situated in the configuration panel for the map customisation option. Previously, it was situated at the bottom of the world map.
Updating Leatrix Plus while the game is running in the background will now show the correct version number after you reload the UI. Previously, the old version number was shown until you restarted the game client.
The UI settings sync service (used by the game client) has been disabled. This is to prevent the unwanted synchronisation of certain Leatrix Plus settings when using multiple clients. It also helps Leatrix Plus to restore settings back to their default state when required. This change does not affect the keybind or macro sync services.
The option to show interface tips ('Settings' menu) has been removed as it's no longer needed.
5.3.09 - 22nd August 2013
The options to show the player and target frames in class color ('Misc' menu) are separate once again due to the differences involved in the code for each frame.
The Battle.net friend request blocking options have been moved to the 'System' menu since these options are designed more for privacy than simple automation.
5.3.08 - 18th August 2013
Fixed a situational taint issue which occurred when using the 'Anchor tooltip to mouse' dropdown menu.
5.3.07 - 18th August 2013
Some 'Tooltip customisation' options have been removed. The remaining options have been moved to the tooltip configuration panel (accessible from the 'Misc' menu).
If 'Tooltip customisation' is enabled, pet battle ability tooltips and pet battle unit tooltips will now use your selected tooltip scale. In addition, pet battle ability tooltips will use your selected tooltip position.
Fixed a small issue with the 'Tooltip customisation' option ('Misc' menu) which caused a Lua error when tooltips were shown for player units with no race attribute. Thanks to Shado Pan Warrior on the Isle of Thunder for reporting this issue.
Fixed a small issue with the 'Hide combat log' option ('Chat' menu) which caused chat tabs to be sized incorrectly during login.
The options to show the player and target frames in class color have been combined. The new option is called 'Frames in class color' and it's in the 'Misc' menu.
The 'Toggle enemy plates' option has been moved to the 'Misc' menu.
5.3.06 - 4th August 2013
Fixed a bug which caused the universal chat color setting to be applied regardless of the checkbox setting. Thanks to Angrysteel for reporting this.
If tooltip customisation is enabled ('Tooltip' menu), modifying the tooltip scale will now set the item reference tooltip scale too (such as item links clicked in chat). Thanks to kevvaxz for suggesting this.
5.3.05 - 28th July 2013
Fixed a small bug which caused an error if you visited the auction house and transmogrify vendor during the same login session with both the 'auction house extras' option and the 'hide character controls' option enabled.
5.3.04 - 27th July 2013
Added a new option called 'Toggle enemy plates' to the 'Misc' menu. If enabled, enemy nameplates will be toggled automatically when combat starts and ends. The option has its own configuration window.
If coordinates are enabled ('Interface' menu), they are now throttled automatically and the option to toggle throttling has been removed.
Reduced the memory usage significantly.
The reset button ('Settings' menu) has been removed.
The 'Viewport' option has been moved to the 'System' menu.
A few structural changes have been made. Please report any issues in the comments.
5.3.03 - 17th June 2013
The option 'Block friend requests' in the 'Automation' menu no longer requires a UI reload. However, you need to enable a new parent option called 'Manage friend requests' if you wish to use it.
The option 'Show raid toggle button' ('Interaction' menu) will now be bypassed if another addon removes Blizzard's raid toggle button.
5.3.02 - 3rd June 2013
The option 'Block friend requests' in the 'Automation' menu will now only block toast frames and status messages for friend request events rather than all events.
5.3.01 - 3rd June 2013
Added a new option called 'Block friend requests' to the 'Automation' menu. If enabled, BattleTag and Real ID friend requests will be automatically declined.
Added a new option called 'Player in class color' to the 'Misc' menu. If enabled, the player frame name background will be shown in class color. Thanks to Glauck for suggesting this.
The 'Hide character controls' option ('Misc' menu) will now hide controls in the transmogrification frame as well as the character frame and dressup frame.
5.3.00 - 20th May 2013
This is a preliminary update for World of Warcraft patch 5.3. This release is not fully compatible with World of Warcraft patch 5.2 so do not install it until World of Warcraft patch 5.3 is live on your realm.
The option to increase the maximum zoom distance is a checkbox once again. It's called 'Max camera distance' and it's in the 'System' menu. If checked, the maximum camera distance will be set to 50 and you will not be able to change it using Blizzard's options panel.
Changing the Blizzard timestamp option or Blizzard chat style option (in Blizzard's options panel) will no longer reload your UI. Blizzard seems to have resolved the taint issues caused by those options so reloading the UI is no longer necessary.
Fixed a very minor issue with the 'Show dressup buttons' option ('Interface' menu) which caused the 'Nude' button to not work correctly after previewing certain armor types.
If you enable the option to hide the combat log ('Chat' menu) and then log into a character with an undocked combat log, a short chat message will be shown reminding you that the combat log can't be hidden until it's docked. The docked state is saved by Wow (not Leatrix Plus) on a per character basis.
Just a reminder that this is a preliminary update tested only on the PTR. Another update may (or may not) be released after World of Warcraft patch 5.3 goes live. Ensure that Leatrix Plus is in your Wowinterface favorites so that you receive an email when the addon is updated.
5.2.14 - 27th April 2013
If enabled, the viewport option (misc menu) will now prevent other addons from making changes to the viewport after Leatrix Plus has configured it. Thanks to gherren for reporting this issue.
If enabled, the option to hide the combat log (chat menu) will no longer print a warning in the chat frame if the combat log isn't docked. Instead, it simply will not be hidden. The option tooltip has been modified to reflect this change.
The 'Save roles with spec' option (interaction menu) has been renamed to 'Save dungeon roles' to clarify that it's designed to work with the Dungeon Finder window.
The 'Use classic chat' option (chat menu) has been renamed to 'Disable sticky chat' just to clarify what it does. In addition, sticky chat will now be disabled for chat channels as well as whispers.
If you use Leatrix Plus with the PTR (5.3), you can now enable the map customisation option (interface menu) if you wish.
5.2.13 - 6th April 2013
Your UI will be reloaded if you change the whisper style or timestamp options in Blizzard's option panel. This is necessary to prevent taint caused by bugs in Blizzard's API.
Removed the addon taint option as it's probably counter-productive in the grand scheme of things.
Removed the spam blocking options (drunk, duel, talent and NPC spam) as bugs in Blizzard's chat filter API were causing them to taint.
The 'cancel' button in Blizzard's interface options panel will now be hidden automatically and the option to hide it has been removed.
5.2.12 - 5th April 2013
Added an option to the system menu to prevent taint originating from addons which use Blizzard's addon panel.
5.2.11 - 2nd April 2013
Reduced the memory usage slightly.
The option to set universal group chat color (chat menu) will now change the color directly in the chat settings instead of using the party chat profile.
The option to use arrow keys in chat and the option to increase the maximum chat length will now apply to all chat windows (including temporary windows).
The option to block spell spam has been removed as bugs in Blizzard's API were causing it to taint.
5.2.10 - 1st April 2013
The tooltip for wild battle pets will now show the collected pet quantity.
The option to hide the combat log will now only work if the combat log is docked. If the log is undocked, you will need to dock it and reload your UI (either drag the tab or reset the chat windows to dock it). The dock status is saved by Wow on a per character basis and is not modified by Leatrix Plus.
Added a new command ('ltp debug log') which will print some basic debug information about the combat log.
The option to toggle the Zygor status using the console has been changed to '/ltp addon zygor'. You can still toggle the addon using the minimap button.
Large segments of the tooltip code have been restructured somewhat. There should be no noticeable change (other than the wild battle pet addition mentioned above).
5.2.09 - 29th March 2013
Reduced the memory usage.
The option to track Dark Soil objects will no longer show a graphic (the sound will still be heard though). In addition, the entire option will be bypassed on startup if the character you are logged in with already has all of the independent Tiller factions at exalted (best friend) status.
If enabled, the option to hide the combat log no longer moves the combat log to another location on the screen. Instead, it keeps it wherever you put it and makes it practically invisible.
5.2.08 - 25th March 2013
Added a new option to unclamp the chat frame (chat menu).
The option to hide the chat buttons no longer unclamps the chat frame. You need to enable the new unclamp option (chat menu) to do that.
The restrictions for chat menu options have been lifted. This means that Leatrix Plus will no longer set the chat style, new whisper style and new conversation style (in the Blizzard social menu) and you can now use all Leatrix Plus chat options with any style.
If the option to move the editbox to the top of the chat frame is enabled, it will now appear over the top of the combat log quick button bar (rather than underneath it) if the Blizzard chat style option is set to 'Classic'. If the chat style is set to "IM", the editbox will appear below the combat log quick button bar.
The ability to rescale boss buttons has been removed due to inconsistencies with other Blizzard map objects.
5.2.07 - 23rd March 2013
The option to hide loot won alerts ('Interaction' menu) will now also hide bonus roll money alerts.
The option to hide the combat log ('Chat' menu) will now completely remove the combat log from the chat frame (as opposed to simply hiding it) thus removing the empty space in the chat tab bar where the combat log tab is normally located. This change does not affect combat log functionality (which remains completely intact).
Added a new option called 'Prevent option taint' ('System' menu). If enabled, the ability to cancel changes to Blizzard's interface options panel (by pressing escape or clicking the cancel button) will be removed. This prevents taint issues when cancelling Blizzard's options panel during combat. Pressing the escape key while the interface options frame is open will perform the same action as clicking the okay button.
5.2.06 - 20th March 2013
If map customisation is enabled, you can now rescale boss buttons using the world map configuration panel.
The world map can now be scaled up to 2.7x (up from 2.0x).
5.2.05 - 17th March 2013
Added a new option to the 'Automation' menu which allows you to accept summon requests automatically. Summon requests occurring during combat will not be automatically accepted (to give you a chance to finish killing and looting).
The option to block interrupt spam ('Interaction' menu) will now focus on blocking messages which contain spell links rather than spell names. The number of words blocked has been reduced too. Read the option tooltip for more information. I'll be monitoring this and may tweak the word list a bit.
Added a new slash command called '/ltp char exit'. This simply allows you to exit vehicles and could be useful in situations where, for one reason or another, the UI does not offer a vehicle exit button.
The slash command to show the number of rested bubbles remaining has been changed to '/ltp char rest'.
If enabled, the raid container frame toggle button will no longer show on top of other UI frames.
Fixed a small bug with the option to manage class colors in chat which was preventing changes to the option setting from being applied to other characters.
5.2.04 - 14th March 2013
Added a new option to the 'Interaction' menu which allows you to toggle the raid container frame without opening the raid management frame. If enabled, the toggle button will be shown just above the raid management frame (left side of the screen) and the button in the raid management frame will be removed. The button only shows up while you are in a raid.
Removed the option to toggle the Dungeon Finder cooldown. It was added when 5 player dungeons were essential for casual players to progress but now that the focus in Mists of Pandaria has shifted to LFR and scenarios, it no longer feels necessary.
Added 'faded' and 'skull banner' to the interrupt blocker.
5.2.03 - 10th March 2013
The option to hide disenchant warnings now hides all loot warnings once again (need, greed, disenchant and soulbound). This is untested (since it's very rare that I see the warnings since patch 5.2), however, the code is the same as before so there shouldn't be any issues with it.
Fixed a very small bug with the 'Auction house extras' option ('Interaction' menu) which prevented a '0' from being entered in the gold editbox under certain circumstances.
5.2.02 - 8th March 2013
Added a new option to the map customisation configuration panel which allows you to hide the location ring (the animated ring that appears around your character location when you open the map). To access the option, open the map configuration panel (from the 'Interface' menu).
If map customisation is enabled, the player icon (indicating your own position on the map) will now be non-interactive. This means you will be able to click through it as if it wasn't there. There is no option to toggle this as I really don't see the point in the icon being interactive at all (especially with the location ring added in 5.2).
If 'Show dressup buttons' is enabled ('Interface' menu), a 'Nude' button will be added to the dressup frame (in addition to the 'Tabard' button). This makes it easy for you to preview individual items without all of your other armor getting in the way.
The option to hide need, greed and soulbound warnings has been removed as the game no longer appears to show such warnings. Instead, there is just one option now which hides disenchant warnings (since they are still in the game).
If enabled, the viewport settings will now be initialised much later in the loading process to minimise the possibility of other addons replacing them.
5.2.01 - 6th March 2013
Implemented the drunk and duel spam blocker once again as the tainting bug in Blizzard's API (which prevented system chat from being filtered) appears to have been fixed. You can find the new option in the chat menu.
Implemented the ability to close the options panel using the 'Escape' key once again as the tainting bug in Blizzard's API (which prevented safe modification of UISpecialFrames) appears to have been fixed (at least during my tests).
If map customisation is enabled, Leatrix Plus will now hand control of the 'digsites' map button back to Blizzard as the graphical corruption (caused by a bug in Blizzard's API) appears to have been fixed. As such, you can now toggle digsites during combat once again.
Fixed a bug with the 'Class colored target' option which caused it to work inconsistently.
5.2.00 - 5th March 2013
Preliminary update for World of Warcraft patch 5.2. If your realm doesn't have patch 5.2 yet, you can still update Leatrix Plus but you will need to enable out of date addons (in the addon selection list on the character selection screen).
Added a new option to show class colored backgrounds for names in the target frame and focus frame. It's in the 'Misc' menu. Thanks to Defective99 for suggesting this.
Added a new option to hide portrait text (damage and healing numbers shown in the player and pet portrait frames, otherwise known as the 'hit indicator frame'). It's in the 'Text' menu. Thanks to Defective99 for suggesting this.
Added a new option to sound an alert when you hover the mouse over a 'Dark Soil' object. An icon also shows next to the location where the alert was sounded. This helps you to locate 'Dark Soil' objects. It's clunky but, in my tests, it has boosted the chance of finding Dark Soil objects by a very significant amount so it's worth including the option. It's in the 'Interaction' menu.
Privacy controls have been moved to the 'System' menu and player frame chain options have been moved to the 'Misc' menu.
5.1.12 - 1st March 2013
Added a new option called 'Universal group color' to the chat menu. If enabled, raid chat and instance chat will both be shown in party chat color (blue by default). This option doesn't actually change the color directly, it simply tells Wow to use the party chat profile for raid and instance chat too. As such, while this option is enabled, changes made to the party chat color will automatically affect the raid and instance chat colors too.
Added a version checker. If the version of Leatrix Plus that you are using was designed for an older World of Warcraft content patch, you will see a warning on startup. If you really don't want to see the warning, there is a new option in the settings menu to disable it.
Added a new slash command called '/ltp addon <addon name>' which allows you to toggle the state of any installed addon (for example, '/ltp addon bartender4'). The addon name that you need to enter is the same as the folder name of the addon.
The slash command to restart the graphics subsystem has been changed to '/ltp reset gfx'.
The slash command to show frame information has been changed to '/ltp f'.
The options panel position is now saved account-wide. If you want to reset it's position at any time, just enter '/ltp reset panel'.
The option to show Dungeon Finder buttons has changed. If enabled, you can now right-click on any of the categories in the Dungeon Finder window to toggle the cooldown frame for those categories.
The Dungeon Finder checkbox to remove target markers has been removed as I think that in the modern game, it's not really needed and could be potentially problematic for Raid Finder.
If 'Auction house extras' is enabled ('Interaction' menu), the duration dropdown for new auctions will now be saved account-wide. It will initially be set to 48 hours when you login and then save the dropdown setting when you logout.
5.1.11 - 22nd February 2013
The Zygor addon state can now be toggled by holding down CTRL and SHIFT while left-clicking the minimap button. This is in addition to the slash command, '/ltp z'. There is a full list of minimap click combinations in the tooltip for the minimap button option (settings page).
Added a '/rl' slash command. Entering this will reload your UI. There is no combat check when using this.
Added a new options panel menu called 'System' and moved the graphics and sound options into it. The quest options (previously in the 'Interaction' menu) have been moved to the 'Misc' menu. No options have been removed.
Added a combat check to the viewport settings to prevent them from being modified during combat (thereby avoiding unnecessary taint).
5.1.10 - 15th February 2013
Removed the ability to close the options panel using the 'Escape' key due to a bug in Blizzard's code which caused the option to taint. As such, to close the options panel, you will need to click the frame's close button, click the Leatrix Plus minimap button or enter '/ltp'.
The Leatrix Plus options panel can no longer be referenced globally using script. The minimap button's global reference is unchanged though (LeaPlusMapBtn), so scripters can use LeaPlusMapBtn:Click() (or whatever they wish) to interact with the options panel.
5.1.09 - 13th February 2013
Added a new option to the spell icons feature which allows you to show tooltips for the spell icons. This can be useful to see which spell the icon is for and to see the cooldown timer for that spell.
The option to block interrupt spam now also blocks it in the 'Instance' channel (as used by features such as Raid Finder) as well as the 'Emote' channel.
The volume control slider now goes up to 10 once again.
5.1.08 - 5th February 2013
If world map customisation is enabled, Leatrix Plus will now manage the 'Digsites' checkbox on the world map. This change is due to the Blizzard handler not behaving satisfactorily (even with no addons installed, it produces green textures and automatically zooms out to the continent level). The checkbox should now behave better but you cannot use it during combat due to restrictions in Blizzard's API.
If enabled, the volume control slider on the character sheet will now go to 20 (up from 10).
5.1.07 - 28th January 2013
Fixed a small bug with the stance bar which caused it to flicker and nudge the chat frame when playing certain classes. Thanks to garak8402 for reporting it.
The dwarf offensive continues! The option to silence rested emote sounds now also silences them in the Summer Terrace (just outside the Shrine of the Seven Stars) and the Grim Guzzler (inside Blackrock Depths). In addition, these locations have been localised into most languages.
The slash command to toggle the Zygor addon will now run faster if you are enabling the addon. You won't be able to enable it during combat though (since Zygor throws a fit if you're in combat when it loads).
If enabled, the lifetime honourable kills stat will now be shown in the tooltip for the character stats button (top-right of the expanded character sheet). This change is in preparation for patch 5.2 (with it's overhaul of the honor frame).
5.1.06 - 24th January 2013
The option to silence emotes while resting will now also silence emotes while your character is at the Halfhill Market. That laughing-fit dwarf will be silenced wherever he roams!
Added a new slash command to toggle the Zygor addon. You can invoke it by entering '/ltp z'. Entering this command will enable or disable the Zygor addon in your addon list (depending on it's current state).
5.1.05 - 13th January 2013
Fixed a small bug with the 'Silence rested emotes' option which caused it to sometimes not work as intended.
5.1.04 - 10th January 2013
Added the phased Krasarang Wilds map to the map reveal feature.
Added a new option, 'Manage emote sounds' ('Misc' menu). It also has a sub-option, 'Silence rested emotes'. If both are checked, emotes will be silenced while your character is resting. This is useful to silence a certain dwarf in the Shrine of Seven Stars.
You can now temporarily move any option configuration panel by holding down CTRL and dragging it. The new position will not be saved between sessions.
Holding down CTRL and SHIFT while right-clicking the minimap button will now toggle your video settings between maximised and windowed mode. True fullscreen mode is not supported. This is useful if, for some reason, you regularly switch between modes.
Toggling minimap target tracking using the minimap button combination (CTRL and left-click) will now show a confirmation alert in the middle of the screen.
5.1.03 - 28th December 2012
Added a new slash command called '/ltp rest' which will print the number of bubbles of rested XP that your character has remaining.
If you have the minimap button enabled, holding down CTRL and left clicking it will toggle the minimap target tracking feature. This is useful as it allows you to quickly activate target tracking when required (such as for locating rare spawns triggered by NPCscan).
5.1.02 - 19th December 2012
Fixed a small bug with the party automation options which caused the settings to be ignored under certain circumstances.
The options panel can now be closed by pressing the Escape key.
5.1.01 - 28th November 2012
The option to hide the loot won alerts will now also hide the bonus roll alert too.
5.1.00 - 27th November 2012
Updated for World of Warcraft patch 5.1.0.
This is a preliminary update, though no major changes are expected. Another update will probably be released once the patch is live. Please report any issues.
The option to block talent spec spam will no longer block the unspent talent points alert.
5.0.34 - 24th November 2012
Added a new command that enables you to clear the cursor of any targeting spell. For example, you could add the command to the end of a macro which casts the priest spell, 'Power Word: Shield', in order to remove the spell from the cursor if the cast fails for any reason. To use the new command, simply add '/click LeaPlusClearSpell' to the end of your spell cast macro.
5.0.33 - 19th November 2012
Added stacking support to the spell icons feature. Simply enter the minimum number of stacks that a spell should have before the icon is shown. If you don't wish to monitor spell stacks, leave the relevant box empty.
The link buttons in the spell icons configuration panel have been removed. Instead, simply hover your pointer over the spell ID editboxes to see the spell names for the IDs that you have entered.
5.0.32 - 16th November 2012
Fixed a small bug with the option to protect privacy ('Misc' menu) which caused the option setting to be ignored under certain circumstances.
5.0.31 - 8th November 2012
Added a new option to show cursor coordinates on the world map. To see them, you need to have map customisation enabled ('Interface' menu) and you will find the cursor coordinates option in the world map configuration panel.
Added a new option to the spell icons configuration panel which allows you to show spell icons above the player frame instead of the target frame. Some people may prefer to see the icons above the player frame (depending on their frame layout) so this option is for them.
5.0.30 - 5th November 2012
The viewport option now allows you to use left and right borders in addition to top and bottom borders. Note that the left and right borders are only simple borders. The option to resize the game world has no effect on them.
The settings page is now accessible via a button at the bottom of the options panel rather than the navigation menu.
Added a new option to the settings page that allows you to show or hide the startup message (the one that prints the addon name and version number in the chat frame). Some people like to keep a clean chat frame during startup so this option is for them.
The 'Manage zoom level' option has been renamed to 'Manage zoom distance' to make it clearer as to what the option actually does.
Options which have additional configuration panels, or which have sub-options available but require a UI reload to access them, will now state as such in the tooltip.
5.0.29 - 30th October 2012
The option to show coordinates ('Interface' menu) now allows you to bind the coordinates frame to the world map and set the coordinates frame to appear on top of other frames within the same strata.
5.0.28 - 29th October 2012
The map coordinates option has been removed in order to make the movable coordinates option more efficient.
Leatrix Plus will now disable the taint log during startup due to compatibility problems with it (these problems have been widely reported on the web). If this is a major issue, however, I can always add an option to prevent Leatrix Plus from disabling the taint log, but using it is not recommended right now.
5.0.27 - 27th October 2012
The 'Show class icons' option ('Interface' menu) now allows you to assign 5 spell icons (up from 4).
Fixed a small bug with the 'Show class icons' option which caused an old icon to remain if an invalid spell ID was entered to replace it. In addition, the spell icons will now scale correctly with the target frame.
Added a new filter option to the 'Automatically turn-in quests' option ('Interaction' menu) which allows you to specify that only daily quests should be turned-in automatically.
The frames menu page has been removed. The frames customisation option itself can now be found in the 'Interface' menu while the frame visibility options can be found in the 'Miscellaneous' menu. No options have been removed from Leatrix Plus.
The viewport option to resize the game world can now be found in the viewport configuration panel.
5.0.26 - 26th October 2012
The 'Show class icons' option has been changed to 'Show spell icons' and now allows you to show up to 4 beneficial spell icons (of your own choosing) simply by entering the spell IDs (shown in the tooltips for icons in the buff frame and under the target frame). Icons which normally appear under the pet frame can be shown using a new checkbox in the spell icons configuration panel. Spell ID profiles are stored on a per character basis.
The button to modify the world map settings can now be found next to the 'World Map Customisation' option in the 'Interface' menu.
If enabled, the movable coordinates frame will now be hidden automatically during pet battles.
5.0.25 - 23rd October 2012
Fixed a Lua error with the minimap zone text option.
5.0.24 - 23rd October 2012
The option to increase the maximum zoom level ('Misc' menu) has changed. It's now a slider instead of a checkbox. If enabled, the zoom level will be set according to the slider value. If unchecked, the Blizzard cached value will be used (if you have not changed the zoom level before, this will be the default value of 15). If you enable this option, you will not be able to change the max camera distance setting in the Blizzard options panel.
If enabled, the option to lock the movable coordinates frame (in the coordinates configuration panel) will now make the coordinates frame non-interactive. This means you can click through it as if it wasn't there, so you can place the coordinates in locations where you would normally click (such as the minimap).
Quite a few structural changes have been made to the addon core.
5.0.23 - 21st October 2012
Added a new option to modify the minimap ('Interface' menu). If enabled, you will be able to merge minimap buttons together, hide the zone text shown above the minimap, hide the clock and use the mousewheel to zoom (also hides the minimap zoom buttons). In addition, you will be able to rescale the minimap. There is more information on these settings in the configuration panel tooltips (ensure that the interface tooltips option in the 'Settings' menu is enabled).
The option to show vanity controls has been changed slightly. The show helm and cloak checkboxes will now try to keep in sync with the actual helm/cloak status on your character. As such, there will be a small delay when clicking them before they take effect. If you toggle the checkboxes too quickly, the delay will get longer as Leatrix Plus has to wait for the server to catch up.
The option to hide loot confirmation alerts has been changed. It now only blocks confirmations for need, greed and disenchant. The option to block bind-on-pickup confirmations is now a separate option.
Added a new option to show a raid warning when bind-on-pickup alerts are blocked by Leatrix Plus (interaction menu). The raid warning will alert you that bind-on-pickup items are waiting to be looted. The idea of this option is to ensure that you don't miss seeing bind-on-pickup items when using autoloot with soulbound alert blocking enabled.
The option to show coordinates in a movable frame has been changed. There is now a main option (interface menu) to enable the coordinates code block. If enabled, a configuration panel button will be available that allows you to show or hide coordinates, show or hide the background behind the coordinates, throttle the updates (to conserve CPU power), lock the coordinates frame (to prevent movement) and rescale the coordinates frame. Holding down the SHIFT key and right-clicking the minimap button will still toggle the coordinates as long as the main option is enabled in the interface menu.
Hiding the UI using ALT/Z will now hide the coordinates frame too.
There are quite a few structural changes in this update. Please report any issues. Some options have changed locations but nothing has been removed.
5.0.22 - 16th October 2012
Added frame rescaling to the frame customisation option. If frame customisation is enabled, you can click the little ? button to move and rescale frames. To rescale a frame, click the frame that you want to rescale (it will be highlighted with a green tint) then move the scale slider in the configuration panel.
The movable coordinates (if enabled) will no longer appear on top of all other frames (such as the cinematic frame).
5.0.21 - 7th October 2012
Added a new option ('Interface' menu) to show coordinates in a movable frame. If enabled, you can drag the frame to wherever you want it to be and it will stay there.
You can now hold down shift and right-click the minimap button to toggle coordinates. Hiding coordinates when they are not required is recommended for performance reasons (since coordinates are not calculated while hidden).
Both the map and movable coordinates will now be updated the instant you change zones (or subzones) rather than wait for Wow to refresh the map by itself.
If map customisation is enabled, holding down SHIFT and clicking a quest objective will no longer show the quest detail frame because Blizzard's quest tracking feature also uses the SHIFT click modifier.
5.0.20 - 3rd October 2012
Fixed a small bug with map objectives which was causing them to appear inconsistently when clicking quest objectives on the map.
Added a new option (in the map modification panel) to show quest details on the left side of the map instead of the right. You can access the map modification panel by clicking the M button at the top of the world map (requires map customisation to be enabled).
Added a new option to the settings menu to show interface tooltips. This is enabled by default. If checked, tooltips for Leatrix Plus controls placed outside of the options panel (such as the map and Dungeon Finder frame) will be shown. The idea here is that I needed to provide a way of explaining new options to you without that information cluttering your UI so this checkbox solves that problem.
5.0.19 - 2nd October 2012
Map customisation is now a single option in the interface menu. If enabled, you will be able to change the scale, opacity and position of the map as well as reveal unexplored areas, show coordinates and show quest details. The fullscreen map is no longer supported (and shouldn't be needed now that quest details have been added to the map, see below).
Added a new checkbox to the map to show/hide coordinates in the map title bar (requires map customisation to be enabled). If checked, cursor coordinates will be shown on the left and character coordinates will be shown on the right. The reason that the checkbox is there to toggle coordinates is because calculating coordinates uses additional CPU power. If conserving CPU power is important to you, you can disable coordinates if you prefer with the checkbox. Note though that coordinates are only calculated while the map is shown.
Added a new checkbox to the map to show/hide quest details (requires map customisation to be enabled). If checked, clicking on quest blobs will toggle the quest details for that blob. You will be able to see the quest description and rewards and be able to track or abandon the quest all without leaving the map. The quest details panel will be attached to the right side of the map. If the details checkbox is not checked, you can still show quest details individually by holding down CTRL while you click a quest blob.
If map customisation is enabled, the opacity slider can now be set to 0.0 if you prefer (the minimum was previously 0.1). Setting the slider to 0.0 removes all transparency (useful if you're toggling the reveal button to scan for unexplored areas).
The option to block system spam (text menu) has been changed. It's now an option to block dual-spec spam only.
Added a new option to block NPC spam. If enabled, all NPC spam (in say and yell) will be blocked all the time. There is a filter option underneath which enables you to only block NPC spam while your character is resting.
The reload button, reset button (settings menu) and wipe button (settings menu) can now all be used during combat.
Clicking the reset button (settings menu) will no longer reset your privacy options. Clicking the wipe button will (since it wipes everything).
The option to change the player frame chain color no longer requires a UI reload.
Fixed a minor situational issue which caused the map to sometimes show green textures.
5.0.18 - 27th September 2012
The pet battle chat frame will now inherit Leatrix Plus chat settings (hide chat buttons and disable chat fade).
5.0.17 - 26th September 2012
Fixed a small bug which caused the map location to not be saved between sessions (when using map modification).
5.0.16 - 25th September 2012
Added a new option to modify the world map. It's in the interface menu and it's called 'Show map modify'. If enabled, a button will be added to the top of the world map that allows you to rescale, move, lock/unlock and change the opacity of the world map. All settings are saved account wide. Note that the map will be locked to windowed mode (fullscreen mode wouldn't benefit from the map changes anyway) and you won't be able to change any settings during combat.
Fixed a bug which caused a Lua error to show for characters with dual specialisation ability but one or more specs did not have specialisation choices assigned.
The reset button (settings menu) will no longer reset any options which offer additional configuration. This includes dungeon roles, tooltip options, frame layout, map modification settings and viewport settings. The wipe button will continue to wipe everything as before.
5.0.15 - 25th September 2012
Mists of Pandaria is here!
Fixed a problem causing a Lua error with the tooltip.
The option to enable guild repair no longer requires a UI reload as intended.
This is the first update since the official launch of Mists of Pandaria. If any further issues crop up, they will be fixed. If you wish to submit a bug report, please ensure that you are able to experience the same bug with only Leatrix Plus enabled.
5.0.14 - 24th September 2012
Added a new option to repair automatically using guild funds (interaction menu). The way that this works is detailed below.
If you are guilded with permission to use guild repair and enough guild funds are available, guild funds will be used for the repair. If guild funds are not available or you do not have permission to use guild repair or you are not guilded, your own funds will be used automatically.
If the guild funds amount has been cached by the client and is available to Leatrix Plus, you will be given a confirmation after a repair has been attempted. However, if the guild funds amount has not been cached by the client, you will be told that a blind repair will be done and you will not receive a confirmation. The blind repair will attempt to use guild funds first and then fallback on your own personal funds if necessary (but it will do both blindly).
The client caches the guild funds amount when you visit your guild bank for the first time after launchng the game. It's also cached after successfully repairing for the first time during that login session. So the first automated repair after launching the game will always be a blind one if you have not visited your guild bank before that point. The guild funds cache survives relogging to other characters but it's cleared when you close the client completely.
Fixed a small bug which caused an error to be shown with the durability tooltip. If your character does not have any items equipped with durability stats, no tooltip will be shown at all.
5.0.13 - 22nd September 2012
Fixed a small bug with the map reveal option that caused the map to appear corrupt under certain circumstances.
5.0.12 - 21st September 2012
Added a new option to reveal unexplored areas of the world map. It's in the 'Interface' menu. If enabled, a checkbox will be added to the bottom of the world map allowing you to toggle unexplored areas of the map. This is very useful for levelling (especially in Pandaria) and, by toggling, you can easily see the areas of the map that you haven't explored yet.
In addition, the tooltips for the existing controls at the bottom of the map will be hidden so that they don't block the map. Finally, the mousewheel can be used to scroll through maps with multiple floors (such as Karazhan).
Added a 'Center' anchor to the tooltip anchor to mouse dropdown (mainly just for completeness).
Renamed the privacy option ('Misc' menu) to 'Protect privacy' because that's really what it is. The tooltip for the option has been updated to remind people that unchecking it will allow third party armory based websites to link all of the characters on their Battle.net account together (this is the Blizzard default setting).
5.0.11 - 16th September 2012
Added a new option to anchor tooltips to the mouse pointer ('Tooltip' menu). When enabled, this option has an additional configuration window (accessible via the ? button next to it) which allows you to specify the anchor, the X offset, the Y offset, the alpha (transparency) and whether tooltips should be hidden during combat.
5.0.10 - 14th September 2012
Removed the options to shorten chat channel names and show timestamps in chat as both options were causing taint.
5.0.09 - 13th September 2012
Added a new menu (interface). The controls and information options (from the misc menu) have been moved to the interface menu.
Added a new option, 'Enable viewport' ('Interface' menu). If enabled, you will be able to create a viewport (either simple borders or a resized game world). This is useful for blocking out parts of the screen which contain nothing but UI elements (to make them easier to see), it also allows you to resize the game world so that you can see everything without elements being blocked by the UI. This is a new feature so please report any issues.
Fixed a small bug which caused durability status to not be shown in the chat frame after your character is resurrected.
Options which have additional configuration screens (tooltip movement, frame customisation and viewport) now have their configuration buttons placed next to them rather than at the bottom of the options panel. If an option has optional configuration screens, click the little ? button to the right and everything you need will be there.
Tooltips for the options panel are now shown to the right of the panel itself rather than inside it. There is a new setting in the settings menu which lets you move them to the left if you prefer. This change allows for more detailed tooltips where relevant without them blocking parts of the options panel. If you previously unchecked the option to show options panel tooltips, you might wish to check it again now as sometimes useful information is added to them.
Added the druid guardian spell, 'Savage Defense' to the class icons option (interface menu).
5.0.08 - 10th September 2012
Added a new option to show durability status (misc menu). If checked, the full durability status for your character will be shown in the tooltip for the expand button on the character sheet (bottom-right corner). The percentage figures shown will be color coded from green through to yellow and then to red. In addition, your overall durability percentage will be shown in chat when you come back to life following death.
The volume control on the character sheet (misc menu if enabled) now supports dual layout. You can hold down shift and right-click it to move it to an alternative location if you prefer.
Added a new option to save your selected group roles (for Dungeon Finder) with your talent spec (interaction menu). If enabled, a button will be shown in the Dungeon Finder frame called 'Save Roles'. When clicked, the group roles that you have currently selected will be saved in a profile for your talent spec. Your saved roles will then be selected automatically when you switch specs. This allows you to switch specs without having to keep switching roles, ideal for hybrids.
Roles are not saved until you click the 'Save Roles' button and they are only automatically selected when you switch specs, so you are free to choose other roles without affecting the saved profile.
Your saved profile is not affected if you use the 'Set role' option in the player menu. This is intentional. Your role profile is only saved when you click the 'Save Roles' button.
If you enable this option, the first thing you should do is to select and save your group roles for each of your talent specs. Those roles will then be selected automatically when you switch specs. That's all there is to it.
For reference, the role setting profile is stored in Wow\WTF\Account\%Account%\%Realm%\%Character%\SavedVariables\Leatrix_Plus.lua (and Leatrix_Plus.lua.bak). Clicking the Wipe button (settings menu) will delete your role profile and require you to save new roles. Clicking the reset button (settings menu) will not delete your role profile (it will obviously uncheck the 'Save roles per spec' option but if you enable it again your role profile will still be there).
5.0.07 - 8th September 2012
Removed the URL copy option. I implemented it using the Blizzard filters but I'm not happy with that. I did create a solution by replacing Blizzards chat parser but I don't want to implement that either as I don't like replacing Blizzard functions. I always try to work with Blizzard code rather than replace it but with URL copy that's proving difficult. At the end of the day, I just don't think the option is worth replacing two Blizzard functions for so I'm just going to abandon it now rather than wait until the next content update.
5.0.06 - 7th September 2012
Added a new option to enable hyperlinks in chat (chat menu). If enabled, hyperlinks printed in the chat frame will be highlighted and clickable. If you want to copy a link to the clipboard, click it then press CTRL/C. You can then paste it into any application (such as your web browser) using CTR;/V.
Added a new option to control character privacy (misc menu). If the 'Manage privacy' option is enabled, you will be able to select character-based or account-based achievement points for when other people inspect you or look up your character on the armory or mobile app. This is a replacement for the Blizzard option setting to make it account-wide.
The amount of memory used by Leatrix Plus can now be seen on the settings menu inside the addon.
If you have enabled 'Block system spam' (text menu), switching talent specs will now show more information such as your specialisation and role.
If you have tooltip customisation enabled, the line of the tooltip with the level of the unit is now localised.
If you have 'Show vanity controls' (misc menu) enabled, the helm and clock checkboxes now support dual layouts. You can hold down shift and right-click either of the controls to toggle between the layouts. This is useful if you have a preference or if another addon is using the same location. Dual layout can be added to more controls if required in future updates.
5.0.05 - 4th September 2012
The auction house extras option has returned as previously stated (interaction menu). It allows you to create auctions more easily and adds a find button so that you can see the current market price of the item that you want to sell.
The option to automatically accept party invitations from guild members has returned. It's in the automation menu. In addition, the 'Dungeon Groups' option, 'Block duels' option and 'Block party invites' option will exclude guild members as well as friends. If the guild member you are interacting with has only just joined the guild, a UI reload may be necessary to update the guild roster internally.
The party automation options which exlude party invitations while you are queued in Dungeon Finder, will now also take scenarios into account.
Fixed a small bug with 'Hide character controls' (frames menu) which caused the character controls to not be hidden completely.
5.0.04 - 2nd September 2012
The option to block system spam (chat menu) now only blocks talent spec spam and NPC spam. It no longer blocks duel spam and drunk spam. The reason is because, since 5.0.4, filtering system chat during combat taints the UI. While talent spec spam does fall under the system chat filter, Leatrix Plus will only enable the filter when you actually switch specs and disable it at all other times. Since you can only switch specs out of combat, this should suffice.
In addition, blocking talent spec spam (using block system spam) will no longer block spell spam when you are not changing spec. So you will still see spells learned while levelling, etc, you just won't see a truckload of spam when you switch specs.
Finally, blocking system spam will also block the talents alert frame (that appears if you haven't chosen all of your talents).
Re-added the option to move the chat editbox to the top of the frame. No other options removed in 5.0.03 are likely to be restored.
Removed the auction house extras due to taint execution issues. I didn't want to remove them and I will add them back at some point if possible.
If you have Bugsack installed, it will no longer report an error when wiping the settings in Leatrix Plus. In reality, no error was ever present, it was just a misunderstanding.
5.0.03 - 1st September 2012
Fixed the taint execution issues.
Fixed an issue which produced an error when using the party whisper invite option.
While most taint execution code was rewritten, some options had to be removed. These are move chat editbox to top (chat menu), toggle General channel in dungeons (text menu), hide channel announcements (chat menu), anchor tooltip to cursor (tooltip menu), hide boss frames (frames menu) and minimap controls (misc menu).
Removed the durability frame and alternative power bar from the frame customisation menu.
Added a new option which allows you to resize the text in standard mail (text menu). It also makes the text easier to read.
Changed the placement of the vanity controls and volume control on the character sheet (taking advantage of the extra space created with 5.0.4).
The option to remove raid restrictions will still allow you to invite low level characters to make a raid, but your group needs to be a party group rather than a raid when you do the actual invite. Once you have invited the low level characters, you can convert the group to a raid and go have fun. This is a Blizzard restriction, no doubt designed to allow you to enjoy old content without giving you the ability to make large low level raids.
5.0.02 - 30th August 2012
Added an option to hide the loot won alerts (interaction menu).
Fixed an issue with the automatic party invite/blocker and Real ID friends.
5.0.01 - 29th August 2012
Reimplemented the block system spam option.
5.0.00 - 29th August 2012
Updated for World of Warcraft patch 5.0.4.
The option to block system spam (text menu) has had to be removed temporarily.
The option to hide class bars is now called hide stance bars and works regardless of class.
This release is here to make the addon available to the community within the shortest possible time after the launch of the patch. An updated release will probably surface before the weekend. If you experience any issues, please report them in the comments and they will be looked into. Please ensure that all other addons are disabled before reporting issues.
4.3.18 - 24th August 2012
The option to hide character controls will no longer hide them in the inspection frame. It will still hide them in the character frame and dressup frame.
Option code which depends on a Blizzard module will run after the module has been loaded by the client. Leatrix Plus will no longer preload Blizzard modules in advance of the client. Affected options are the auction house extras (interaction menu), move editbox to top (chat menu and only when hide combat log is unchecked) and hide the time (misc menu). This is a technical change and not something you should notice but it's mentioned here anyway.
The achievement frame can no longer be moved using the frame customisation option. The reason is because moving it requires preloading a Blizzard module and the addon no longer does that.
4.3.17 - 22nd August 2012
Improved the auction house functionality that was added recently. You can now enable buyout only mode and gold only mode when required from the auction house frame (via checkboxes in the status bar of the frame). The item lookup button is now called Find and it's shown near the item dropbox on the auction creation frame (when there is an item in the dropbox). As the auction house option has changed substantially, you will need to re-enable the option in the Interaction menu (under vendors) if you had it enabled before and wish to continue using it.
The first implementation of the auction house features enabled people who use buyout mode only to benefit. This update enables everyone to use the additional features and to toggle them as required from the auction frame itself.
4.3.16 - 20th August 2012
Added a new option, 'Auction house buyout'. It's in the Interaction menu (under vendors). This will make a few changes to the auction house frame (or more specifically, the create auction frame).
The biggest change is that the starting price boxes will be removed and new auctions that you create will be buyout only. This is a time saver so that you don't have to fill in two sets of boxes if all you want to do is create a buyout auction.
A 'Lookup' button will also be added to the create auction frame that will allow you to see any current auctions for the item you want to sell. So you put the item in the dropbox, click Lookup and then you can see what everyone else is selling the same item for.
A 'Gold only' checkbox will also be added to the frame. If checked, the silver and copper boxes for the buyout price will be permanently set to 99. If you mainly deal in gold, then this is another time saver so that you don't have to keep filling the silver and copper boxes in.
Finally, the auction duration dropdown will be saved account-wide and survive reloads. So if you always use 48 hour or 12 hour, you can just set that once and never need to set it again.
As a precaution, you will not be allowed to create auctions if the gold box is empty. If you want to sell an item for less than 1 gold, put a 0 in the gold box. This is to prevent accidental clicks due to the silver and copper boxes being prefilled with 99.
As with everything in Leatrix Plus, this feature is entirely optional. If you choose not to enable it then it uses no resources and it's not even loaded at startup. If you are using another addon to modify the auction house frame, this option may conflict with it.
4.3.15 - 23rd July 2012
Implemented preliminary updates for the options which caused problems with Mists of Pandaria beta.
Reduced the click area of slider controls to reduce the risk of accidentally clicking the wrong control (specifically with the volume control on the character sheet in mind).
The option to adjust the quest log detail size will no longer change the text size of other windows unless they inherit the same font (gossip windows and the Dungeon Finder window both do this).
4.3.14 - 21st July 2012
Modified the code slightly which creates the slider controls in the options panel. As such, you may need to set your slider control settings again. This includes tooltip scale, quest log detail size, panel scale and panel alpha.
Added a new option (misc menu) to show a button in the dressup frame which will hide your tabard when clicked. This is useful if you wish to see how gear looks (specifically chest armor) but your tabard is blocking it. Both the normal dressup frame and the auction house dressup frame are supported.
Added a new option (misc menu) to show a master volume slider on the character sheet. This is useful as you can set your computer speakers to a static volume level and use the slider in the character sheet to adjust the volume. This slider also helps you to balance external sound (such as a song playing in the background) with the game sound. Of course, there is a slider in the Blizzard options panel already for this but it's long-winded to get to and using the Blizzard options panel during combat can taint the UI.
Removed the option to automatically accept invites from guild members (automation menu). The option to block party invites will no longer make exceptions for guild members either. The main reason for this change is the size that guilds can be (up to 1000 members). If there are one or two guildees that you want to make exceptions for, you can always add them to friends as a workaround.
Changed the 'Show honorable kills' option (misc menu). If enabled, lifetime honorable kills will now be shown in the tooltip for the honor points icon (shown at the top of the honor window which you can access by pressing H). This change means the stat is still easily accessible but doesn't clutter the character sheet.
The 'Wipe' and 'Reset' buttons (settings menu) have been changed slightly. They now require you to hold down SHIFT and CTRL together while clicking the relevant button. This change was done to remove the need for additional popup windows in the options panel.
Enhanced the 'Hide chat buttons' option slightly (chat menu). If enabled, you can hold the SHIFT key down while scrolling to page up/down through your chat history, or the CTRL key while scrolling to jump to the top or bottom of your chat history.
4.3.13 - 6th June 2012
The Dungeon Finder 'Time' button (if enabled) will now work even if the rewards window is not showing.
The 'Show hunter icons' option has been changed to 'Show class icons' and now supports multiple classes. Presently, this is hunter (Mend Pet and Rapid Fire) and druid (Predator's Swiftness). This feature is incredibly useful for a few spells so will probably be expanded on in future updates. As the original option has been changed, you need to re-enable it (misc menu) if you had it enabled before and wish to continue using it.
Removed the guild petition blocking feature as this option is included with the Blizzard guild invitation blocking mechanism (part of the default UI). The tooltip for 'Block guild invites' (automation menu) has been modifed to indicate that the option also blocks guild petitions.
4.3.12 - 3rd June 2012
Added a new option to automatically accept role confirmations for Dungeon Finder if the group leader is in your friends list (both character based friends and Real ID friends are supported). Along with the automated party accept option, this option allows your friend to create a group and queue for a dungeon without needing any acknowledgements from you. Enabling this option requires that you select a role in the Dungeon Finder window. Note that this option won't port you into the dungeon automatically, it will only assist in creating the group.
If 'Tooltip Customisation' is enabled and you have also enabled the option to hide tooltips during combat, holding down the shift key will over-ride that setting temporarily and show tooltips during combat (starting from the next time you hover over a new unit).
If 'Hide chat buttons' is enabled, the 'New Real ID Whispers' and 'New Real ID Conversations' dropdowns in the Blizzard options panel (Social menu) will both be set to 'Inline' and you won't be able to change them. This restriction was already in place for character based friends, it's now been extended to Real ID based friends too. The reason for the restriction at all is to limit the number of chat windows that Leatrix Plus has to monitor.
4.3.11 - 29th May 2012
Real ID support has been added to the guild invitation and duel request blockers.
Holding down SHIFT while clicking the minimap button will now toggle the game music.
Various new keywords have been added to the interrupt blocker (divine protection, avengers shield, shield wall, rallying cry, dispel, gag order).
The option to hide character controls is once again a separate option in the frames menu.
The Blizzard Integration option has been removed. Instead, two new parent options have been added, 'Manage blockers' ('Automation' menu) and 'Manage class colors' ('Chat' menu). These will need to be enabled if you wish to use Leatrix Plus to override the relevant Blizzard settings.
The party frame has been removed from the frames customisation option, mainly because Wow likes to move it dynamically and giving it a static location could cause problems.
When enabled, the anti-harassment checkbox in the Dungeon Finder will no longer block 'Choose your role' requests. It will still remove raid marks, however. Blocking the role request window is no longer needed since Blizzard made changes to the game.
4.3.10 - 22nd May 2012
Real ID support has been added. The 'Party from friends' and 'Block party invites' options now support Real ID friends (in addition to character based friends).
Various options which previously required UI reloads no longer do so. This doesn't change the minimalist footprint of the addon.
The 'Hide character controls' option has been merged with 'Show vanity buttons'.
4.3.09 - 4th May 2012
Fixed a minor issue where hiding boss frames required the Dungeon Finder buttons to be showing.
Modified the tooltip for the minimap button option to show that middle-clicking it will toggle the Recount window if Recount is installed.
Modified the tooltip for the screen glow option to show that enabling it may give you a performance boost.
4.3.08 - 29th April 2012
A few (very) minor updates.
When the 'Move editbox to top' option (Chat menu) is checked, the chat style dropdown in the Blizzard options menu will be set to 'Classic' and will not be changable.
When the 'Hide chat buttons' option (Chat menu) is checked, the mousewheel scroll checkbox in the Blizzard options menu will be checked and will not be changable.
If enabled, the stat for HKs on the character sheet will be shown in a smaller font.
4.3.07 - 26th December 2011
Fixed the quest auto-accept option.
4.3.06 - 26th December 2011
Removed the quest auto-accept option (at least for now). The Blizzard code appears to be bugged and using AcceptQuest appears to corrupt the quest log detail text. This issue isn't only affecting Leatrix Plus, it is also affecting other addons which make use of AcceptQuest. If Blizzard ever fixes this issue, the auto-accept quest option will return.
Reworded the 'Toggle General in dungeons' option (Text menu) to make it clear that when checked, the General channel will be hidden or shown depending on whether you are in a dungeon or not. This option is an automatic toggle for the General channel, it shouldn't be used if you never wish to see the General channel.
4.3.05 - 23rd December 2011
There are quite a few structural changes in this update, please leave a comment if you experience any issues.
The 'Move editbox to top' option (Chat menu) will now cause the editbox to appear below the chat tabs rather than over the top of them. This allows you to cycle through your chat tabs while your editbox remains intact. The editbox will appear in the same place in the Combat Log too as the quick button bar will drop down to make room for it.
The chat mousescroll feature has been removed as it's included with the default UI (it's in the Social menu). Blizzards setting is account-wide so once it's checked you won't need to check it again.
Much of the chat and error frame text parsing is now done using global strings instead of plain text. As such, many of the locale functions have been removed (since global strings are global, they don't need to be localised).
The 'No channel in dungeons' option (Text menu) will now only hide the General chat channel (before, it would hide LocalDefense too). This shouldn't matter as people don't use LocalDefense in dungeons.
The 'Hide interrupt messages' option now blocks interrupt spam in raids too. This was added with Raid Finder in mind specifically.
The 'Hide Chat Buttons' option (Chat menu) has been coded differently but still works the same way. However, if you use it, you won't be able to change the whisper mode from the default of 'Inline' (in Blizzards Social menu). This is to ensure that the number of chat windows that Leatrix Plus needs to monitor remains small and manageable (10 to be exact). The chat tab flashing alert (when you are not at the bottom of your chat history) will now resize itself dynamically to match the tab it is highlighting.
The 'Hide character controls' option (Frames menu) will now hide character controls in the inspect frame and the dressup frame, as well as the character frame.
The 'Show time stamps' option (Chat menu) will now cause the equivalent Blizzard option to be disabled and unavailable. This is to ensure that time stamps are processed by either Blizzard or Leatrix Plus, not both.
Removed the /ltp reload switch as there is a /reload command in the default UI.
4.3.04 - 17th December 2011
Fixed a bug which prevented the vehicle UI from resetting correctly after dismounting from a vehicle when the 'Hide class bar' or 'Enable Frame Customisation' options were checked. To fix this bug, the 'Hide class bar' code was modified and the ability to move the vehicle seat indicator frame was removed.
For scripters and programmers, the minimap button for Leatrix Plus can now be referenced outside of Leatrix Plus. It's global reference is 'LeaPlusMapBtn'.
4.3.03 - 6th December 2011
It seems that some people are missing the 'Remove raid restrictions' option, so it's back. When enabled, you can make a raid group with any level character. Reload your UI if Wow says your level is too low.
4.3.02 - 4th December 2011
Removed the guild repair option. You can now only automatically repair using your own funds. While I appreciate the fact that guild repair can be useful, the fact is that it is not reliable without the ability to see available guild funds for repair. Even the Blizzard UI fails in this area (the guild repair button in the default UI will show an incorrect value until you use a guild bank and even then it uses a cached value) so guild repair is removed until Blizzard sort it out. A bug report has been submitted to Blizzard on this. If you wish to use another addon for automatic repair alongside Leatrix Plus, you can do so, just leave the automatic repair option unchecked in Leatrix Plus.
Hiding the death effect and hiding the special effects are now two separate options.
If you use Recount, you can middle-click the minimap button to toggle the main window. This isn't an official feature of Leatrix Plus, I just bolted it on because I miss the ability to toggle the Recount window as I don't always want to see it. If you don't have Recount installed, middle-clicking the minimap button does nothing.
4.3.01 - 3rd December 2011
Fixed an issue with retrieving the guild funds amount when using the automatic repair option.
Removed the boss checkbox option on the world map as it's now included in the default UI.
4.3.00 - 30th November 2011
Updated for Wow 4.3.
Added a new option to hide the character sheet controls. It's in the Frames menu and is disabled by default.
Removed the option to remove raid restrictions as this feature has been added to the default UI. Cheer!
4.2.58 - 8th November 2011
Rearranged some of the options and consolidated a few of the menus. Nothing has been removed from the options panel.
Consolidated the four spam blocking checkboxes (in the Spam section of the Text menu) into a single checkbox called 'Block system spam'. This checkbox is unchecked by default, you should check it if you wish to use it.
Added a new option to remove the background image from the options panel.
4.2.57 - 1st November 2011
Modified the 'Show Mend Pet icon' option. It's now an option to show hunter cooldown icons for Mend Pet and Focus Fire. If enabled, Mend Pet and Focus Fire cooldown icons will be shown above the target frame while they are active. You must not have target frame buffs showing on top of the target frame else you won't see the new icons (right click the target frame, go down to Move Frame, ensure Buffs On Top is unchecked). I might expand on this in future with other spells or classes. The icon animations have also been reversed for clarity.
Consolidated the four 'Hide chat buttons' checkboxes into a single checkbox.
4.2.56 - 30th October 2011
The casting bar will now display correctly below the player frame if you have a pet frame showing and the casting bar is positioned under the player frame.
If you have frame customisation enabled, the pet frame will now always parent with the player frame. If you move the player frame, the pet frame will follow it using its default position.
Added a new option to the chat menu which allows you to middle-click the General chat tab to bring up the chat menu. This is useful if you enable the option to hide chat buttons and miss being able to bring up the menu for emotes, etc.
Modified the 'Hide class bar' code slightly so that it doesn't hide the pet bar too.
4.2.55 - 28th October 2011
Reupload of 4.2.54. It seems that Wowinterace downloads are being corrupted. Update: All is fixed now, the issue only occured with certain web browsers during a specific time window, it has been acknowledged by the excellent Wowinterface team and fixed.
4.2.54 - 28th October 2011
The brass monkeys of Dalaran will now only come out at night when there's nobody around, as originally intended.
4.2.53 - 27th October 2011
Removed the quest tracking frame and the minimap frame from the frame modification feature. Partly because they have quirks which need special functions to iron out and partly because people are more likely to want to use alternative addons for these frames. The default positions of these frames are generally fine for most people anyway, so they're gone. All hail the simple life! Now then, where's that hunter I keep putting off levelling...
4.2.52 - 27th October 2011
Fixed a small issue with the quest tracker height when using a modified UI scale.
4.2.51 - 27th October 2011
Added the ability to move the minimap, quest tracker (watch frame) and the error frame using the normal frames menu.
Added a new option to permanently hide the quest tracking frame. It's in the Quests menu. If enabled, you won't be given the option of moving the tracking frame in the frame customisation menu (not that you would want to since you chose to hide it permanently).
Frame customisation drag frames should now scale along with the global UI scale. The quest tracking frame will scale with the 'wider objectives tracker' setting in the Blizzard options.
The Blizzard integration setting (in the Settings menu) is now just a single checkbox. I would hazard a guess that the number of users who prefer to use the Blizzard options rather than the Leatrix Plus options is very low (if any) so I don't think there's any need for more.
4.2.49 - 24th October 2011
Added a new option to automatically accept party invites from guild members. As with the existing invite from friends opiton, if you are queued in Dungeon Finder when the invite request comes in, it won't be automatically accepted and you will be asked as normal.
The 'Block party invites' option has been modified so that it won't block party invites from guild members as well as friends.
4.2.48 - 22nd October 2011
Added a new option to allow you to automatically invite people who whisper 'plusinvite' to you.
Added a new option to hide tooltips for the options panel.
Added a new option to show a silver rare player chain instead of a gold elite one.
The player frame chain and vanity button options are now inside the graphics page.
The character page is now called automation.
4.2.47 - 21st October 2011
Only a small update as there is nothing definite planned as of yet, so I would like to get this release out.
The talents command is now included as intended. You can type /ltp talents to bring up the talents frame from any level character, even a level 1. This allows you to see the talents for your character even before you get a single talent point. It also shows pet talents (for your low-level pet). This can be useful to help with planning or just curiosity.
The 3 external Blizzard modules (achievement UI, talents UI and time UI) no longer run by default but instead they will load on demand if you use an option which requires them. This fits in with the Leatrix Plus philosophy that if you don't enable an option then it shouldn't use any resources. It also minimises the possibility of Lua errors resulting from incompatibilities between Blizzard modules and other addons (I don't know of any but still, it's better to be safe).
Leatrix Plus now has no settings enabled by default other than the Blizzard integration settings and the minimap button. The choice is entirely up to the user as to what they choose to enable.
4.2.46 - 20th October 2011
Removed the talents command for now due to a Lua error which can occur with dual specs. It will be fixed in 4.2.47.
4.2.45 - 20th October 2011
The frame movement feature has been improved. You can now move the entire party frame and the achievement frame. Also, while your frames are unlocked, you will see checkboxes on the right side of the screen. These will toggle the individual drag frames on and off so that you can drag frames which may be stacked on top of each other.
Added a new slash command, /ltp achieve. This will test the achievement frame in case you use the frame movement feature to move it and want to check that it looks ok.
You can now once again move frames while in combat due to a change in the locking mechanism.
Added a new option to hide all NPC spam while your character is resting. There are various ways of reducing NPC spam in the game. I don't personally feel that NPC spam out in the world is a problem, but when you're resting in the city and chatting to friends then it can be irritating. So this option will hide NPC spam only while your character is resting.
The option to hide the combat log now hides it completely as originally intended.
The option to automatically accept party invites from friends now checks first to see if you are in the Dungeon Finder queue. If you are, the party invite won't be automatically accepted and you will be asked if you want to accept as normal.
Added a new slash command - /ltp talents. This will show the talents window. The difference between this command and the normal talents button in the game is that this command works on any level character, even a level 1. So if you create an alt and want to look at the talents you will get access to, or to see what awesome spells you will get at level 10, just enter /ltp talents.
Added a new options menu (it's located at the bottom of the main menu on the left of the options panel). These are the options for the addon itself rather than the game.
Added a new option for you to change the alpha (transparency) of the options panel itself. This can be useful for people who prefer to see more of their game while changing Leatrix Plus options. It's located in the options page and is disabled by default.
Added a new option for you to change the scale of the options panel. Again, this can be useful for people depending on their eyesight, screen size and resolution. It's located in the options page and is disabled by default.
Added two new options to control the Blizzard integration features. Leatrix Plus automatically replaces the character based guild invite blocking and trade request blocking settings in the Blizzard options panel with its own account-wide versions in the character menu. It also replaces the myriad of character based class color settings in the Blizzard options panel with two simple account-wide settings in the chat menu. This integration, I think, benefits most people but it may be the case that you prefer to use the Blizzard options panel instead. These two new integration checkboxes will allow you to do that. After unchecking them and reloading, the relevant settings in the Leatrix Plus options panel will be locked and you will be able to use the Blizzard options panel instead. Both settings are in the options page and both are checked by default (most people should leave them checked).
The defaults button is now called 'reset' and is located inside the options page. This will reset most of your settings back to the default values. It won't reset the Blizzard integration options, tooltip options, frame options or your frame layout.
A new 'wipe' button has been added to the options page. This will wipe your entire saved profile including your frame layout and every single option in Leatrix Plus.
4.2.44 - 18th October 2011
Added a new option to move the alternate power bar frame.
Added a new option to automatically accept party invites from friends. This can be very useful for various occasions. Changing the setting for it doesn't require a UI reload so it can just be enabled when needed.
Added a refresh button to the frames page. Clicking it will position your frames to the last position you dragged them to. This shouldn't be needed but it's there anyway.
Modified the combat log hide option. It no longer hides the tab but rather phases it out, which makes it smaller, less obtrusive and unclickable. There's also less of a gap between the general tab and your custom chat frames. The idea is that you dock the combat log and then phase it out so it doesn't get in the way if you don't want to use it. More will probably be done to improve this, but whatever changes are made, they cannot be permanent because people who don't check the option can't be affected by it.
You can no longer move frames while in combat. The new options panel does actually support it, the problem is that moving some frames requires changing their status from protected to unprotected (while the frames are unlocked, not permanently). While in an unprotected state, the Blizzard UI may choose to move them wherever it wants to and it's more likely to do this while you're in combat.
Modified the tooltip movement process slightly so that it works the same way as frame movement. Click the move button to unlock the frame, drag and then right-click the frame to finish.
4.2.43 - 17th October 2011
This is a major structural redesign of the whole addon. There isn't any noticable difference on the surface but internally it's practically a rewrite. Please report any issues (there shouldn't be any).
All of your option settings have been reset to the defaults, so you will need to setup the addon again. This is unavoidable due to the redesign as the locations where the saved preferences used to be stored no longer exist.
Most options now run inside the isolated environment and require a UI reload to invoke. Older versions of the addon used the isolated environment sparingly to minimise the need to reload, but I think it's more important to ensure that, when people don't select an option, that option doesn't affect their UI in any way and the default Blizzard settings are used. The only options now which don't require a UI reload are things like blockers and graphical changes.
The editbox will now resize with the chat frame if you have the option enabled to move it to the top of the chat frame.
The defaults button (on the homepage) will now reset all settings except the tooltip and frame pages. The settings on these two pages will be retained as it's unlikely that you would want them to be reset along with the rest.
4.2.41 - 15th October 2011
Added a new option to automatically jump to the bottom of your message history when you click a chat tab.
Added locale support for the option which hides global channels while in dungeons (English, French, German and Russian).
4.2.40 - 13th October 2011
Fixed a bug with the fix for the bug with tooltip positioning.
4.2.39 - 13th October 2011
Fixed bug with tooltip positioning.
4.2.38 - 12th October 2011
Added support for frame movement of the player, target, pet, ghost, durability, world state, timer and vehicle frames. To move any of these frames, enable frame customisation under the frames menu (a reload will be required the first time you do it) then click the move button. Drag the frames where you want them then right-click any frame to finish. Frame locations are stored account-wide. If you currently use Leatrix Frames then you should remove it to prevent conflicts with the frame settings in Leatrix Plus.
When enabled, hiding the class bar (graphics menu) now also hides the hunter class bar too.
4.2.37 - 9th October 2011
Modified the minimap button. It's now green in color. Left clicking it will launch the options panel as before. Right-clicking it will toggle error messages and the button color will change to red while error messages are showing. The option to hide error messages (text panel) needs to be enabled for this to work. The minimap button toggle state isn't saved between sessions (use the setting in the options panel if you want to show or hide error messages permanently).
4.2.36 - 9th October 2011
Added a minimap button so that you can launch the options panel from it. There's an option to disable it on the home page if you really don't want to use it.
Split the global and local channel name colors into two options. They aren't linked, so you can specify class colors in local channels, global channels or both.
4.2.35 - 9th October 2011
The option to show names in class color now applies to global channels (such as 'General' and 'Trade') as well as non-global channels (such as 'party' and 'say').
The height of the chat frame will now be saved between sessions if it's adjusted using the easy resizing option.
4.2.34 - 8th October 2011
Added a new option to show names in class color in non-global channels. This option replaces Blizzards collection of 18 checkboxes and is account-wide.
Corrected the easy resizing option to indicate that it requires a UI reload.
Hiding channel announcements will no longer hide channel throttle messages.
4.2.32 - 7th October 2011
Time stamps now use server time (not local time) and are shown in 24 hour format.
Added locale support for drunken spam (English, German, French, Russian, Spanish). This option will be disabled and locked if you are not using one of these locales.
Added locale support for short channel names (English, German, French, Russian). This option will be disabled and locked if you are not using one of these locales.
The interrupt blocker has been moved to the 'text' panel. This option will be disabled and locked if you are not using an English locale.
Modified the chat frame resizing option slightly. When enabled, dragging the General tab with the left mouse button will move the frame (if the frame is unlocked) or extend the window height upwards (if the frame is locked).
4.2.31 - 7th October 2011
Added a new option to show time stamps in the chat frame.
Added a new option to abbreviate channel names in the chat frame.
Modified the chat frame resizing option. The chat frame can now only be extended upwards. If the easy resizing option is checked, you can middle-click the 'General' chat tab and drag upwards to extend the chat frame. You can do this regardless of the frame lock.
Modifed the option to hide chat tabs. It now only hides the combat log tab. User created tabs can be closed easily and the general tab is too useful (especially given the new resizing option).
Modified the bottom button option. It's now called 'tab highlighting' and if enabled, the chat tab will be highlighted if messages are added to that tab but you are not at the bottom of the message list to see them. This works with all chat tabs.
The '/ltp' command now works as a toggle. Launching the options panel using '/ltp' while it's already open will close it.
4.2.30 - 6th October 2011
Added a new option to hide channel announcements (with an exclude option for join/leave).
Added a new option to resize the chat frame simply by dragging its edges. This is very useful as it allows you to easily expand your chat frame for those occasions which require you to see more text (such as damage meter reports).
Modified the feature to hide the chat buttons. It now has it's own setting (before it was part of mousewheel scrolling) and it has a sub-option to show the bottom button. With this enabled, you will see a small, flashing blue button in the bottom-right corner of the chat-frame if you are not at the bottom of your message list when new messages are added. Clicking the button (at any time) ports you to the bottom of your message list.
Added a 'help' button to the homepage just to show a few tips.
The time button in the Dungeon Finder window has a new texture.
4.2.29 - 5th October 2011
Added a new option to hide all chat frame tabs or just the combat log tab.
Added a new option to move the chat frame editbox to the top of the chatframe.
Added a new option to use the mousewheel to scroll the chat frame and optionally hide the chat frame buttons.
Added a new option to unclamp the chat frame so that it can be dragged off-screen.
Added a new option to increase the chat history from 128 lines to 4096 lines.
Added two new options to block trade requests and guild invites. These are replacements for the Blizzard interface options and are provided to make the settings account-wide and more easily accessible.
Added a new option to hide the class bar for Paladin, Death Knight, Warrior and Druid.
Changes to Leatrix Plus settings while you are in combat will be invoked automatically after you leave combat. This means that you can play with the settings freely without worrying about whether you are in combat or not. The only thing you cannot do is click the reload button while in combat.
4.2.28 - 4th October 2011
Added a menu with more categories to the options panel to make it easier to traverse through the options.
4.2.27 - 4th October 2011
Added a new option to zoom the minimap using the mousewheel.
Added a new option to right-click the minimap to launch the tracking menu, and middle-click it to launch the calendar.
When enabled, both of these options hide the corresponding Blizzard buttons to give you the same functionality without the clutter.
Added a new option to hide the time under the minimap.
All of these minimap options are under a new category called 'Minimap' on the 'Miscellaneous' page (page 4).
Redesigned the homepage. It now shows a menu of all the options pages so that you can click directly on the page that you want. You can click the 'Home' button (bottom-left of the options page) to show the homepage at any time.
Added a Default button on the homepage that will wipe your saved settings and set everything back to the defaults when Leatrix Plus was first installed.
Added a checkbox to the homepage that lets you specify whether you want the homepage displayed when you open Leatrix Plus. If unchecked, the last page you viewed will be shown.
4.2.26 - 3rd October 2011
Made the options panel a little more friendly. It now uses arrow buttons to cycle through the pages, the reload button is permanently visible (but dimmed and locked when not required) and there are one or two other subtle changes.
4.2.25 - 2nd October 2011
Leatrix Tooltip is now included with Leatrix Plus. This is possible because it runs in the isolated environment that was added in 4.2.20. If you want to use the tooltip option, enable the tooltip customisation option, click the reload UI button then choose the tooltip options that you want.
In most cases, if you already use an existing tooltip addon then you will want to leave the tooltip options in Leatrix Plus alone. If the tooltip customisation checkbox in the tooltip options is unchecked, no part of the tooltip code will be run on startup and your tooltip will be completely unmodified.
If you currently use Leatrix Tooltip, you should remove it otherwise the settings in Leatrix Plus will conflict. All of the options in Leatrix Tooltip have been migrated over to Leatrix Plus anyway, so there's no reason to want to use both.
Tooltip movement functions are included in Leatrix Plus. After the tooltip customisation option has been enabled, two buttons will appear in the bottom left of the tooltip options window. One moves the tooltip and the other resets the tooltip position. To move the tooltip, press the move button and the tooltip drag frame will show up. Move it to where you want the tooltip to go, then press the move button again.
Added an option to block drunken state messages in chat from other people (while keeping your own).
You can now press escape to close the options panel instead of having to click the close button.
4.2.24 - 2nd October 2011
Added an option to hide boss frames under the minimap.
Added an option to hide 'General' and 'LocalDefense' channels while in dungeons and raids.
Rewrote the options panel layout to use my own design. It can now only be launched using /ltp and cannot be launched while in combat. The options panel will automatically show the page that you were viewing when you last closed it. The new design is cleaner, uses fewer resources and is less prone to taint.
4.2.21 - 29th September 2011
Added an option to exclude combat res attempts from the automated resurrect option.
Successful automated resurrection attempts cast on you will now emote a thankyou to the player.
Added 'purge' to the dungeon interrupt blocker.
4.2.20 - 28th September 2011
Added the features that were removed in 4.2.18 again. If you use Leatrix Character, Leatrix Boss, Leatrix Quest, Leatrix Error, Leatrix Honor or Leatrix Mend then you should remove these addons before installing this update to Leatrix Plus.
If you use Leatrix Tips, then you should update it to the latest version as the Dungeon Finder features from Leatrix Tips are now in Leatrix Plus instead.
These new features are shown suffixed with a * in the options panel. This means that they require a UI reload before you can use them. After making a change to an option suffixed with a *, a UI Reload button will appear at the bottom of the options panel and you can click this when you're done making changes to see the changes come into effect. There's no need to click it after changing each option, just when you're done making changes. Only the new options added in this version require a UI reload.
This version should hopefully fit the needs of both users who want minimalist changes and users who want everything in one addon. Features which require their own frames or hooks are isolated from the rest of the addon and the code for those features is only run if you enable them.
4.2.18 - 22nd September 2011
Some features have been removed and converted to standalone addons. The quest levels feature has become Leatrix Quest, the error hiding feature has become Leatrix Error, the character sheet checkboxes have become Leatrix Character, the boss checkbox has become Leatrix Boss, the Mend Pet feature has become Leatrix Mend and the Dungeon Finder controls have been merged with Leatrix Tips.
The reason for these changes is that I felt that I was deviating from the original design concept of Leatrix Plus by adding features which really didn't fit in with the original coding structure.
4.2.17 - 21st September 2011
Added 'Strangulate' to the dungeon interrupt blocker.
Modified the quest automation option slightly. There are now 2 checkboxes (down from 3), one to accept quests automatically and another to restrict it to just daily quests.
Removed the honorable kills option.
Fixed a bug with battleground release which ignored the presence of a soulstone.
Fixed a bug with automated resurrection which prevented you from resurrecting under certain circumstances.
4.2.16 - 18th September 2011
Added a new option to show the total number of honorable kills for your character in the honor frame. This is the lifetime stat for your character. This option is enabled by default.
Added a new option to show a checkbox in the Dungeon Finder frame. When checked, the 'Choose your role' confirmation window will not be shown. This feature replaces the '/ltp hiderc' slash command (which has now been removed). The checkbox setting is not saved between login sessions. If you're in a dungeon and someone insists on spamming the 'Choose your role' confirmation window, you can block them completely by checking the box in the Dungeon Finder window. When you want to use Dungeon Finder again, uncheck the box in Dungeon Finder.
The guild repair fallback option will now be locked if the guild repair option is unchecked.
Added some votekick errors to the error frame exclusion list. See the error messages tooltip in the options panel for a full list of errors which are now shown. This change means that votekick errors will always appear in the error frame regardless of the error message setting.
4.2.15 - 9th September 2011
Added a new option for hunters to show a 'Mend Pet' cooldown icon next to the pet frame. The icon will appear when you use 'Mend Pet' to give you an indication when the heal is about to expire. This will help hunters to keep Mend Pet up continuously when an encounter requires it.
When enabled, the helm and cloak checkboxes in the character sheet will no longer be clickable while your character is dead.
4.2.14 - 31st August 2011
Just a small update to move the boss buttons checkbox (on the world map) further to the right, to reduce the chance of it blocking something else.
4.2.13 - 30th August 2011
Added a new option to show a checkbox on the world map which toggles boss buttons.
Modified the repair option so that guild repair checkboxes will always be available regardless of guild status. This enables you to configure the guild repair options even if you are logged into a character that is not guilded.
Updated the dungeon spam blocker keywords slightly. You can always see the words it blocks in the tooltip.
Repositioned the helm and cloak checkboxes on the character sheet and restricted their clickable area to just the checkboxes themselves (not the words next to them).
Redesigned the options somewhat to give the option panels some sort of order.
4.2.12 - 29th August 2011
Fixed a bug with the placement of the helm and cloak checkboxes. Thanks to suicidalkatt for pointing it out.
4.2.11 - 29th August 2011
Added a new option to hide the Blizzard gryphons.
Added a new option to set the zoom out level to the maximum, so that you can zoom out further than the default UI allows.
Added a new option to show two checkboxes in the character frame which will toggle your helm and cloak. It's just a quicker way of toggling your helm/cloak without having to go into the Interface options.
4.2.10 - 28th August 2011
A small update to the dungeon spam blocker. If enabled, messages will now be blocked if they contain the words 'interrupt', 'taunt', 'activate', 'mind freeze', 'rebuke', 'kick', 'bash', 'pummel', 'silence' or 'counterspell'.
4.2.09 - 20th August 2011
Added two new words to the dungeon chat interrupt blocker. If enabled, messages in 'party' and 'say' chat will now be blocked if they contain the words 'interrupted, 'taunted' or 'activated'.
Added a new option to enable the arrow keys when typing in the chat frame so that you can go back and forth through your message correcting mistakes and changing text. You can also hold down CTRL and press arrow keys to jump entire words or you can hold down SHIFT and press arrow keys to highlight text. Once highlighted, you can press CTRL/C to copy and CTRL/V to paste. If disabled, the arrow keys will use the normal keybind action (which is character movement by default).
Added a new option to disable text fading in the chat window so that chat text remains permanently visible.
4.2.08 - 13th August 2011
Added an option to allow you to block spell interrupt messages while in dungeons. When enabled, messages entered in party chat or say chat will be blocked if they contain the word "interrupted". This feature will only work while you are in an instance (it can be an instance of any type such as a dungeon, raid, etc) and only while you are in combat. Only messages in 'party' chat or 'say' chat are blocked.
Modified the quest accept feature. You can now choose to automatically accept all quests or just daily quests only.
4.2.07 - 7th August 2011
Added an option to allow your low level characters to join raids. A while back, Blizzard introduced a requirement that your character must be level 10 to join a raid. Checking this option in Leatrix Plus will remove that requirement for all of your characters.
4.2.06 - 6th August 2011
Added an option to hide special effects. An example is the haze effect when you enter Riplash Strand in Borean Tundra (the white smokey haze that creeps in from the corners of your screen).
The option to process quests automatically has been changed. There are now two options, one to accept quests automatically and the other one to turn-in quests automatically. You can choose one or the other, or both.
4.2.05 - 5th August 2011
Added an option to process quests automatically. If enabled, quests will be automatically accepted when you talk to an NPC offering them. This will not skip gossip windows or automatically choose quests for you, it will only remove the need to click 'Accept'. Quests will also be turned-in automatically if there are no loot choices to make. You can over-ride this option by holding down shift while you talk to a quest giver.
Added an option to remove the confirmations from loot rolls. If enabled, confirmations will not appear when you click 'need', 'greed' or 'disenchant' when looting in a group. Bind-on-Pickup warnings will also not appear. You can over-ride this option by holding down the SHIFT key while looting and clicking loot choices.
Expanded the options panel to cover two pages. Typing /ltp will show page one, skipping the introduction page. The defaults button at the bottom of each page is specific to the page you're viewing.
4.2.04 - 4th August 2011
Reduced the options panel height for widescreen users so that controls aren't rendered outside of the frame.
4.2.03 - 3rd August 2011
Added an option to show quest levels in the quest log. Quest levels will be added along with the quest type (dungeon, raid, daily, PvP, etc).
4.2.02 - 2nd August 2011
Added an option to allow you to automatically repair your items when you visit a suitable merchant. You can use your own money or guild money for the repair. There is also an option for you to fallback on your own money if you don't have permission to use the guild bank or not enough funds are available in it. If you don't check the fallback option and your guild bank doesn't have enough money, or you're not allowed to use it for repair, the repair will not be done and instead you will see a warning. To specify that you always wish to use your own money as a backup, you must check the fallback option.
Options panel components will now be dimmed and locked if other components (to which they rely on) are unchecked, or, your character does not meet the requirements for them (for example, the guild repair option will be dimmed and locked if your character is unguilded).
4.2.01 - 1st August 2011
Added an option to allow you to sell all grey items automatically when you visit a vendor. If you enable this option, the sale of grey items will be done transparently when you visit a vendor and a summary detailing the number of items sold and total gold acquired will be shown. I don't think there's any need to clutter the chat window with a detailed report of each individual item sold.
Added an option to show/hide the Dungeon Finder 'Time' button.
4.2.00 - 29th June 2011
Removed the option to show/hide the minimap target blip as it's now included in the tracking menu.
The slash command has changed to /ltp (alternatively, you can use /leaplus).
Modified the options panel layout to take the larger space into account.

Added an option to hide the minimap target and focus target blips (works with the default minimap).
4.1.23 - 27th April 2011
Fixed bag automation issue.
4.1.22 - 27th April 2011
Updated for Wow patch 4.1.
4.21 - 23rd April 2011
Modified the time button in the Dungeon Finder so that it works as a toggle. Clicking it while the cooldown window is showing will now hide it.
Added an option to disable sticky chat.
4.20 - 12th April 2011
Added an option to hide error messages and information messages in the error frame.
Added an option to hide zone and subzone text.
Added an option to resize the quest log detail text (should now work with any locale).
Leatrix Plus now includes some features from Leatrix Text. Leatrix Text has been discontinued so should no longer be used.
4.10 - 14th February 2011
Added a button to the Dungeon Finder window which will show you your random dungeon cooldown. Under most circumstances, the cooldown will be shown automatically after you have joined a dungeon group. However, it can disappear if someone leaves the group. This button will allow you to see the timer when you click it if the dungeon rewards window is showing and preventing you from seeing it.
4.09 - 7th February 2011
Added an option to hide the netherworld effect (such as the mage spell, 'Invisibility').
Added an option to remove the full-screen glow.
4.08 - 3rd December 2010
4.07 - 3rd December 2010
4.06 - 2nd December 2010
4.05 - 28th November 2010
Added the elite gold chain option that started out in Leatrix Frames.
4.04 - 19th November 2010
Removed the frame movement options as they're now part of Leatrix Frames. If you're using Leatrix Frames, you need to update Leatrix Plus to 4.04 otherwise the frame movement functions will conflict.
4.03 - 18th November 2010
Added a new option to prevent bags from opening and closing automatically when using a vendor or mailbox.
4.02 - 17th November 2010
Duel, guild petition and party requests will no longer be blocked if the player requesting is on your friends list.
The automated resurrect option now applies to both combat and normal resurrection. It's also now disabled by default.

Added dual-spec spam blocking.
Added a new command called '/lp player' which will reset the player and target frames back to their preset position.
Party invitation blocking is now disabled by default.
Removed guild invitation blocking as it's now included in the UI (thank you to Creepy_inc).
Duel spam is now shown regardless of the option setting if you are involved in the duel (as intended).
