would be very nice with a command switch for displaying it, making it much more useful when you want to see it or not

When your world map is not in the zone where the quest is (and where you are) then TomTomLite is unable to get the information about the quest objectives. In short, if you are not in the zone where the quest has objectives, TomTomLite will not show any objective waypoints. This is an optimisation, since otherwise I would be forced to examine every single sub-map of a continent in order to find every single quest objective that could possibly have coordinates and then work to find out which one is closest. Trust me, neither of us wants that. When there is no objective waypoint, the archaeology dig site waypoints are able to be displayed (they are lower priority). This is the expected behaviour.

edit: I'm noticing the waypoint sometimes jumps around while viewing my map. Right now I'm duplicating this consistently by viewing the map, then zooming out to world view. When I do that, the waypoint immediately jumps. It corrects when I close the map again.

Nope, there are no slash commands in TTL. That's what TomTom is for.

I get this error when attempting to use the /tt set command:
Code:
TomTomLite.lua line 448: attempt to index global 'self' (a nil value) EDIT: Looks like the slash command is actually unfinished. D'oh! ![]()

The arrow can be moved by alt-clicking it, and if you'd like to change the scale of the arrow you can do this by using alt-mousewheel.
From the main description page =)

Arrow and text position
Hi, I was wondering if you could instruct me what I need to modify to adjust the arrow and text position. Currently it sits on the top of my character and I'd like to move it up to the top of the screen.
I looked through most of the .lua files but didn't see anything that looked correct. Thanks for your work on all your great addons. Vyx |
