BossInfo
Version: 1.1
by: nerino1 [More]
BossInfo is an addon used to provide a simple overview of Boss fights and encounters. The information is broken down into section for Tanks, Healers and DPS.

The Information in BossInfo is written for Heroic encounters. In most cases the Regular Dungeons are just easier versions of the Heroics so the information cant be used for either. Extra notes have been added for encounters where the Regular and Heroic are different.

Using Bossinfo to see Boss Encounter Information is easy. Simply choose a Boss from the pull down menu or target the Boss and press the Target Button.

BossInfo also has the ability to send an overview of the Boss Encounter to your Party. Simply choose the Boss from the menu or target the Boss and press the Target button and then press the Party Button to send the overview to party chat.

To access the addon, simply click on the icon; or use the slash commands /bi or /bossinfo

Options Menu can be accessed by Right Clicking on the Icon or typing /bioptions or /bossinfooptions

All Feedback and Suggestions are Welcome.

Hide Button

Would like the option to hide the icon.

I have a macro to call up BossInfo and don't need the icon anymore, its just clutter on my screen.

Thanks!

I would like to be able to lock it in place so I don't accidentally drag it around.

Very nice. Except for two things.

That big button needs some way of...going away. It takes up far too much UI space.

Sure, you can move it almost completely offscreen. Which doesn't mean much if you regularly change your UI scale.

A minimap button or ideally, a LibDataBroker feed + optional minimap button would be far better than that monster. If either of those are too much, some way to disable the current button would be appealing to many. While still, of course, having some way of accessing the mod's options. The command line command only opens the main frame, not the options frame.

The second issue: the /bi command to bring up the BossInfo frame is the same abbreviated command used for years by the popular BankItems inventory mod. As that has been around for a long time, would be cool if some other abbreviated alias could be chosen for this new mod.
