First, in the main RobBossMods frame, instead of the default "Party/Raid", select another checkbox. Such as "myself". Log off and back on, the next time you open the frame the checkbox has changed back to the default Party/Raid. It doesn't retain the checkbox you changed from the default. Happens all the time on every relog and is quite inconvenient. Second setting that isn't saved--under more limited circumstances--is the minimap button position. If you relog/restart with RobBossMods constantly active, no problems. But...if you turn off RobBossMods, relog, then turn it back on for the next relog, the minimap button resets to its default position. This usage is typical if, say, you use ACP or similar to load different mod sets for dungeons & raids and so on. Also quite inconvenient as that minimap button overlaps the Blizzard dungeon finder icon in its default position. Deleting/starting over with the saved variables (SV) file doesn't change the above behaviors. I notice that in it there is Code: rbm_minimapcords = { 2, -- [1] -112.8042225407306, -- [2] -138.0510346529471, -- [3] set here, but the mod ignores it under the above circumstances. There also doesn't seem to be a setting in the SV file to remember the checkbox you set other than "Party/Raid" in the main frame. EDIT: further testing, yes there are problems with the minimap button even not disabling the mod. Relog the same character with RobBossMods active, it remains where you set it. But log off, log onto a different character that doesn't have the mod active, then log back to the first character, it resets to the default position. Recommendation: add a LibDataBroker feed (for displays that tons of people use) & an optional minimap button using LibDBIcon-1.0. Won't have any problems afterwards if done correctly. Zidomo A Cliff Giant   Forum posts: 76 File comments: 1057 Uploads: 0	Regarding LibBabble-Boss-3.0, manually modifying a widely distributed library to include in your addon while retaining the same name...is a bad idea. As first mentioned by Grungra below. When there are two (or more) mods loading the same revision of LibBabble-Boss, only one gets loaded. Which might or might not be yours, depending on load order. And which may or may not cause problems with other mods. Finally, the official version has quite frequent updates. Are you prepared to update your version as frequently? Best bet if there is some boss info you think is missing in it: just include the latest alpha version with your mod. Which usually is newer than the last release. Or file a ticket on WowAce through the link above. Or better, add your own translation to whichever languages you think are missing through the Localization panel. They are reviewed and later uploaded to the official version. Right now, the latest alpha LibBabble-Boss-3.0 is r341 from just a few minutes ago (it was also put up to release status as v4.1-release3). You currently are including the last v4.1-release1/r337 from April 27, which has the old "Jin'do the Hexxer". Alpha r340 from May 1 & the current r341/v4.1-release3 do in fact have the current Zin'do the Godbreaker. So use the alphas and/or check back more frequently for releases. For English the explanations are too long and elaborate. Most randoms don't have the patients to read the call of text. The prefer short concise sentences. So what i'm asking for is shorter strats for the bosses.
