Blizzard assigns your iLvl based on what you're wearing and what is in your bags. ScoreMe most likely only looks at what you're wearing. Which is a lot better. If I'm in a heroic and wanna make sure my healer's gear is up to snuff, I don't care what PVP/DPS gear he has in his bags. I want to know what he's wearing is decent.

No. The "missing shoes" problem simply isn't a big problem.

Nearly every single mod like this (and there are a lot of them) give you tooltip, etc. figures of people's scores on PvE _equipped_ items only. Due to the fact its the one major differentiator to looking at someone's Blizzard "best equipment in bags" score.

Because when running PvE content, people cheat the system all the damn time; they get into Zanda heroics when they shouldn't with PvP items in bags, they say for PUG raids they have "370 ilevel", but are 3/4 PvP equipped and on and on. That's a major reason for looking at someone's ScoreMe, etc. score.

Only if the only time you ever look at the score is as a leader/raid leader of a guild and want to make sure people are getting geared up. For the vast majority of people, though, the score has a primary use in seeing who and who is not equipped in a PUG and/or is trying to cheat their way in.

For the author: the ScoreMe v2.16 ZIP has incorrect enclosed paths. The file paths begin with "\Scoreme Version 2.1.5\ScoreMe\..." instead of the proper "\ScoreMe\...".

Just a thought...

edit: some modification for 2h vs 1h weapons would need to be taken into account I realize...

ScoreMe only calculates the equipped ilvl.
