Prettier, pixel-perfect nameplates with auras. Configurable through interface options (open with /knp or /kuinameplates).

Class colours on hostile players can be enabled in the default interface options, under "Names" - check "Class Colors in Nameplates" at the bottom right.

If you're having issues with nameplates being in incorrect locations or being unclickable, first try unchecking the "Fix aliasing" option in configuration.

More up to date versions can often be found on Curse. Please try using that version before reporting a bug.

Current features:
  • All of the default nameplate features
  • Pixel perfect!
  • Auras!
  • Combo points
  • Tank mode - recolour health bars when you have threat (enable by checking "Enable tank mode" in options)
  • Customisable display of health for friendly or enemy units
  • Pretty fading in/out of frames (disable by unchecking "Smoothly fade" in options)
  • Automatic toggling of nameplates when you enter or exit combat (enable by checking "Auto toggle in combat" in options)
  • Cast & incoming healing warnings, useful for PVP (disabled by default, check "Show cast warnings" in options)
  • Configuration profiles
Health display patterns:
The text to display for health on different frames is determined by two simple patterns: one for friendly frames and one for neutral and hostile frames. These patterns can be changed in the options dialog (/knp). They must make use of specific conditions and results, in the following format:
condition1:result1;condition2:result2;condition3:result3;
There must be at least one condition (and one result). Any other conditions are optional.

Possible conditions are:
"=" When the unit is at maximum health...
"<" When the unit's health is less than maximum...
"=<" When the unit's health is either less than maximum or at maximum...
Possible results are:
"m" ... Display their maximum health (i.e. 123.4k).
"d" ... Display their health deficit (i.e. -46.5k).
"p" ... Display their health percentage.
"c" ... Display their current health (i.e. 76.9k).
"b" ... Display nothing.
The patterns used by default are:
Friendly units: =:m;<:d;
Which means:
When the unit is at maximum health:Display their maximum health;
When they're below maximum health:Display their health deficit;
Hostile units: <:p;
Which means:
When the unit is below maximum health:Display their health percentage;
Planned features:
  • Frame blacklisting

KNP could potentially show what a mob is targeting as long as someone in your party or raid is targeting that mob. It could also use your mouseover but I made this for that particular case.

I understand it would be helpful when it worked but it's not something I'd want to put in the main addon. I'm in the middle of a rewrite which should make writing external things a lot easier, so I'll probably have a look at it then.

Hi Kesava !
First, thank you for this add-on ! I love it, I've been using with my tank for several month and I can't play without it anymore.

I have a suggestion though, which could be really usefull for tanks in raid, can it be possible to show somehow the target of the mob within the nameplate ? In raid I use it to see which mob of a pack is not on me, and it would be awesome to know when the mob is targetting someone else if it is the other tank or a dps/heal.

Auras

Hi,at the moment the auras on my plates is slightly " widescreen " rather than square,if you know what i mean,could you point me to whereabouts in the lua to alter the dimension of the aura icons,Thx
And also how to include a % sign after the health deficit.
EDIT: Nevermind i found how to change the icon size,and tried: big = floor(frame.health.percent)..'%' to add the percentage icon,but it does not work.
EDIT: Sorted it,it was because of the font i was using it was'nt showing up

Would it be possible to modify these plates so they display arena1-5 number instead of character level in arenas, like arenaplates:

No problem with your custom.lua. I couldn't really say why it's happening, to be honest. With fix aliasing off the frames should be inheriting the position of the default nameplates, so unless it's also happening with those I don't know exactly what's going on there.

Just in case, when you disabled fix aliasing, did you reload the UI?

Also, try moving or renaming the folder of the current version you've got installed and installing the latest version from curse.com.

I'm using custom.lua http://pastebin.com/wQcqVT3n and It occurs regardless of 'Fix aliasing' option disabled or not.
Is there any problem in my custom.lua ?

Not possible. But you can also mouseover them to update the debuffs.

Question My auras debuffs

This is my dilemma, when applying diseases on a target the debuff aura shows up perfect, however, when say spreading those diseases to a group the debuff aura does not show up on the other target's nameplates unless I target them. Is it possible to have the debuffs automatically appear without having to target first? That way I'll know if my diseases have applied to a target w/o actually having to target the target.
