Tabard Addict
A simple addon that shows which tabards you have or have not equipped and suggests additional tabards to help with meeting the various tabard achievements.
Open and/or close the window using the slash commands /ta or /tabardaddict or click the button next to the tabard inventory slot.
Usage: (slash commands)
- /ta
- /tabardaddict
- *click button* next to tabard inventory slot in character frame
Features:
- Shows all tabards that count towards equip count achievement including tabards not available to your faction or currently in game.
- Equip data comes from the server. No need to re-equip all the tabards to update the status to addon.
- Suggestions - Shows suggested tabards to equip to help with meeting the tabard achievements.
- Mouse Over tabard icon - shows in game tooltip.
- Ctrl-Click tabard icon - will launch Dressing Room with tabard equipped. See what your character looks like in the other factions tabards. Also preview TCG tabards before buying.
- Shift-Click tabard icon - will insert item link into active chat edit box.
- Mouse Over tabard items in game - tooltip will show if tabard has been equipped or not.
- Click "info" button to show a dressup preview of the tabard and a wowhead url.

FAQ(s):
(Q) Why show tabards not available to my character?
(*) Many people like to see what their horde character looks like in alliance tabards and vice versa in the Dressing Room.Localization Help Needed:
(*) You can also see what your character looks like in TCG loot code tabards before buying a loot code.
(*) The "Suggestions" tab will show only tabards that are available to your character.

In the Tabard Addict addon folder are the following partially localized files. They should be your starting point if you want to help out.

New Addon - Faction Addict

hah poetic Nihlo! I really do appreciate the comments. I think when I get inspired to really dig back in I will appreciate them even more then.
 The "font overlap" issue I'm definitely trying to figure out. I had no idea there was an issue there until someone posted the comment on curse today. Must have something to do with scaling of the UI. -G |

Sure, it's your hard work and your decission what to add or change. I'm just one of those who tries to evoke some kind of creativity in talented authors. You probably have your own ideas for this addon or another and now maybe some more. That's the way it goes.

Thanks Nihlo! Enchanted Illidari Tabard does not count towards the achievements so I'm not sure I will add it anytime soon.
My goal is still to keep the addon as clean and simple to use as possible. So reinforcing the standard UI behaviors is something I like. And keeping config options to a minimum is also something I like. Keeping that in mind I do appreciate the suggestions and they may get incorporated in one form or the another while not compromising on those goals. Thanks! |

Few things which came to my mind by testing TA:
- the Enchanted Illidari Tabard is missing. Although it only exists one hour it could count towards achievements or help to complete an addon. - a filter "display already worn tabards" would be cool so you only see tabards you didn't get. - equip tabard by clicking - mark equiped tabard - information how to get the tabard in tooltip - colour the tabardname in his item-quality-colour - possibility to sort tabards (by quality, level, value, name...) - fix font overlap in the bottom line - hotkey to TA - blizz interface menu entry and config - tooltip of the "next achievement" - option to auto-dress by mouseover or click just a few things which came to my mind, some people like input^^ |

Feature Request
I am always forgetting to swap out tabards when one is no longer giving me any rep, and that I should wear my guild tabard when questing and a faction tabard when in a dungeon.
Would it be possible for this addon to monitor the currently equipped tabard and remind the player when a different one should be equipped? |

Now that the UI is sorted to support config options more will be coming soon. First pass just has a few simple display filters.
