Mik has returned and is updating the addon. So please do not download this version unless you want the additional sounds that I put in.
Edit: Sounds removed for copyright issues. Libs are the most current though.

This addon is for those who are weak at heart when it comes to modifying code in complex addons :P Again this is a fan update, that's all. I Protonova of Rexxar (US) do not claim any responsibility or ownership for this addon. The creator is Mikord. I only updated it while Mikord is absent.

I am in no way claiming that I have updated this addon by myself or that I created this addon. This is a fan update and should be used with caution.

I would also like to thank Zidomo for pointing out Morsker's solutions. As well as sp00n for the merge off-hand event fix.

I hope to see Mikord back and willing to sink some time on some new improvements. <3 MSBT!!! Can't raid without it lol.

Interesting. Because mods that call separate WAV files directly haven't been able to play them since Lich King. All of WoW's internal sounds have changed from WAV to OGG. Its a widely known issue. The original MSBT changed from WAV to MP3 because of this in v5.5.79.

So either running a mod (or background program) that works around this limitation or...WoW did an unannounced change in a patch since the original 4.0.1.

Anyway, Mikord is back to update the original. Thanks again.

v5.5.91c has other issues, though. First off, the included WAV files are a nice idea, but they are useless currently. WoW has not been able to play/recognize WAV files since Cataclysm was released. Need to convert them to OGG or MP3.

Once they are converted (recommended for fast, free conversion: the oggdropXPd program), people will be able to access them by typing their file names in the MSBT "Custom Media" in-game feature.

Second, the library handling that was changed is odd and unneeded. "LibSharedMedia-3.0.xml" isn't the name of the XML that's actually included with the original LibSharedMedia library. Instead, its just "lib.xml". Could just leave the pointers as they originally were and have no problems:
Libs\LibStub.lua
Libs\CallbackHandler-1.0.lua
Libs\LibSharedMedia-3.0.lua
A couple of those libraries have been updated on WowAce since the last original MSBT v5.5.91 was released, so no harm with including the updates as you have, Fiercy.

This means you installed it in the wrong directory. This is the error ppl were getting before 5.5.91a (after 4.1). Find the right wow folder and you will get rid of this error. Best way to find the right directory is to right click the wow icon on ur desktop and click on "Open File Location".

Can you post which LUA errors you received? It might be because of the updated I just did lol.

I just remembered that you can disable notifications from MSBT directly. Please take a look at the screenshot i've included to disable CPs. Just uncheck the checked box as in my picture.

Delete your old MSBT folders (2 of them) then download this one, extract it then move it to your interface/addon folder. Or just use MMO Minion, uninstall MSBT (with Minion) then search for this version and click install.

I checked CCP and there is no direct interface with a SCT so it's an unintentional bug. I would contact that addon's creator and ask for a fix. But i'd suggest using another addon for the moment like NugComboBar.

I don't care if it's not 100% perfect (a brief round with the training dummy would suggest that it is), all I care is that it's functional. You're a lovely human being for sharing this update with the rest of us. I despise not knowing what's going on in combat, which is why I got MSBT to begin with, and learning the new dungeons without it has been annoying to say the least.
