Sound: Weapon switch
hey there,
i need you guys to mute another sound: i am playing warrior and got 2 sets in my equipment manager ingame saved, and they just change my weapons. so set "1" equips my two-hand and set "2" equips shield and 1hand. so one line in my macros (i macroed almost every button on my action bar) is like this: /equipset [spec:1]1;2 so in the end, this is ****ing comfortable but is producing sounds every time i push the button, soo annoying. i need to get as much space in my macros as possible so "/script "mute sound"" -> "/script "return sound"" at start and end of my macros is not possible to use. just wanna get rid of this damn sound -.- so that's it hopefully you guys can help me! |

Hello!
Something odd: I installed the Jewelcrafting sound mute, but I still hear the scrape scrape scrape. Any idea? It's in the right folder (I've installed some other sound mute files previously, which worked for me.) |

Re: Wow map and bag sounds
Hai all.
Unless told otherwise you will need a .ogg and wav version for each sound muted. Copy the existing files already included and simply rename them. Do not change the file types or you may have problems.
Sound\\Interface\\iQuestLogOpenA Sound\\Interface\\iQuestLogCloseA Bags: Sound\\Interface\\iEquipmentContainerOpenA Sound\\Interface\\iEquipmentContainerCloseA
Sound\\Creature\\Zippelin\\ ZippelinLoop ZippelinAttack ZippelinDeath
It might be these you're talking about: Sound\\Spells\\Fizzle\\ FizzleFireA FizzleFrostA FizzleHolyA FizzleNatureA FizzleShadowA If these don't work be more specific, include the name of the trinket and try to find a trinket that shares the same sounds that can be easily obtained, if you only link a raid trinket (I don't raid) the chances are I'll never find it.
An Mp3 file can be found in the following folder included in the addon: Sound\\Music\\ZoneMusic\\ArgentTournament\\AT_HeraldEvent. Then use it to mute these. stormwind_highseas-moment stormwind01-moment stormwind02-moment stormwind03-moment stormwind04-zone stormwind05-zone stormwind06-zone stormwind07-zone stormwind08-zone stormwind_intro-moment Which login sounds are you trying to find? The cata login sounds are pretty quiet.

Wow map and bag sounds
Hello,
Is it possible to mute the map and bag sounds in this game? When opening the world map (m key) and my bag(s) there is this strange muffling sound and I hate it As I open them alot you can imagine how it starts to get on my nerves (almost as bad as that Worg sniff!).I wonder why Blizz doesn't allow for a selective mute to all sounds in this game... I've downloaded many sound muters so far but none seem to incorporate a mute for these two sounds, so I'm kinda hoping you might have a solution. Many thanks! Mag |

Hi, firstly ty very much for this wonderfull work.
I just miss one sound, the one that the trinkets do, if its not ready yet, it gets very annoying if you spam a spell with the use 13 & 14 macro.I dont know how to call this sound but its something like a wind sound. It would be awesome if ya can add this sound2. cheers m8 ![]() |

Trying to find the sound for barking, not the pug one, there's one for a wolf named "Spot" in Theramore that on click- he barks, but I went to tame him he no longer barks on clicking, I removed all the non-combat sounds under "Wolf" but not finding where else it would be. I've also looked up 'bark' too, & only found an npc with the name 'bark' in it, & the beauty npc for her 'bark'.
I also just removed my 'creature' folder & logged in again & when I click on my tamed "Spot" he does bark again, so it's gotta' be somewhere in the creature folder, just not sure exactly where. Nevermind hehe was under "KyletheDog" ^_^

Delete the old sound folder before installing the new version. I've removed the music sound files. |

Having the same issues with logging in to stormwind. Renaming that directory (Music\CityMusic\Stormwind) fixes the problem (thus disabling those sounds).

Re: Error with Stormwind sounds?
I tested them myself and had no crashes, what do you have WoWs sound quality and channels set to? I have absolutely no idea what could cause it or if it will do anything but try setting them to max.

Error with Stormwind sounds?
Hello,
Wow is crashing when trying to load the audio from Stormwind. 1). My character is in stormwind, so I decided to delete the music folder for SW and then I was able to log. 2). Somewhat related, when I wanted to mute the Shattering log in screen, I used the file from Stormwind and copied it and renamed it to cataclysm/MUS_Shattering_UU01.mp3. Wow would crash as soon as I started up the client. Yet, when I put in another mp3 (such as the theme for Storm Peaks) it works fine. Otherwise things are wonderful. Thank you so much for this amazing work! |
