Did some Layout Changes - You can still use V10 to get back to the old UI.

**Warning**
Don't updated DBM to any Version right now, no major changes have been made in 5.4.6.
You can update DBM on a different way if you wish with the following Steps:

  • 1. Download DBM Update to a separate Folder
  • 2. Delete DBM-SiegeOfOrgrimmar in Interface/Addons
  • 3. Add the downloaded version to Interface/Addons
  • 4. Tada!

there is always the option to show lua errors and see which addon causes 10errors per second

There was a change to DBM when this new system was put into place. The height of the bars (spacing) needs to be 30 to match the old look. Previously, this was cap'd at 25 and anything beyond that would revert back to 25. I contacted the author of DBM listing this bug and he has increased the height of the new system from 25 to 35 as a result.

Although uploading the correct template file would benefit some people, it's not something to rely on. As DBM evolves there are more changes added to the new DBT.lua template file (where we can adjust the look of DBM). That's not the say that the changes we implement will not work in the future but that we could be excluding new functionality that DBM is incorporating. It's best to just edit the appropriate sections in the file instead.

P.S. The template file (DBT-Template file) serves absolutely NO purpose now. You can edit it as much as you like but the changes made to DBT.lua will overwrite those of the template. Use DBT.lua for everything now.

EDIT: Who needed sleep anyway?!!? DBM 100% working with the old layout now. With your permission i can upload the dbt-template and dbt.lua somewhere or i can messege you the code.

Ive been working abit on a DBM fix for newest versions, ive solved everything except the bars not expanding upwards properly(they overlap)



Here is current DBT-Template code(it belongs in DBM-StatusBarTimers instead of DBM-Core now)

And if someone know how to make petbar/bar5 NOT to move upon different raidsizes(goes more and more upwards 5-15-25-40) that would be great

After getting minion to work (fucking oracle destroying java with each update) i would like to maintain the ui for myself.

Could you provide a list of addons that you have not edited that are save to update besides the obvious ones?

Just something about that specific character that stops it from working properly, its definetely spamming luraerrors cause i just had 20fps in a 10man flex on fights, where as i turned it off and jumped to 80

EDIT: Updated to nonmodified version for now

Did you checked about the Blizzard Setting of showing DMG in Interface/Floating Combat Text?

Some issues i had


Petbar did not have a position, its tricky to get in place because of anchors dragging it away but its ok, fixed this myself.

XCT does not display damage from my character itself, only multistrike/cloak/pet damage. Been looking over this for an hour now but i cannot manage to fix it, happens on both warlock and monk.

EDIT: I reinstalled the ui and the damagetext works on all characters besides the warlock for some reason.

You did nothing wrong, however I'll need some time to figure out what was changed.
No fast fix available I'm afraid as I'm still in middle of all that christmas stuff with family

Edit: use the old version 5.4.5 works still fine till a solution is found, seems other people have the same issue with it now.

Either I did something wrong or the latest DBM update broke the custom bars. Any chance of a quick fix?

As for the current version, it looks really cool but could we also see VuhDo version of the raid frames? I like having some variation of 3 by 10 grid or 5 by 5 instead of a 25 by 1 grid. Makes it easier for clique spells
